I am a classically trained singer with three children. I love Star Trek and have watched probably every episode of every series. Favorite HP charaters are Snape and McGonagall. (not as a couple.)

Yes, I was pleasantly surprised by Severus' dream. I'm glad it made him happy while waiting for Hermione to appear. I'm interested in seeing how the future changes due to the changes Severus and Hermione made. Can't wait for the next chapter. Loved this chapter. Glad to see the story posted here, I started it on another site, but this is my favorite place.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
This is my favorite place too! Thanks for the review. Severus needs something to brighten his outlook, and that dream does the trick. It gives him an anchor to hold on to while he waits for her.

Yup, loved the dream. Keeps us hardcore sshg shippers going, lol. Though I did like how you handled Severus seeing her again-- must be so hard for him. I also loved how Severus is teaching Harry Defense!!! Wonderful as always, deb. So, second year next. I always look forward to see how you are going to change little things for the better!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Gotta have a little romance thrown in, even if it's only a dream. He's quite lost without his Hermione. We'll see his pain off and on throughout the years.Second year is next alright. We'll see what happens. Big hugs to you kizzy.

sevvie... Ahaha! Love it! I also liked your choice of house for Dudley. :)
Severus needs a bit of getting used to, but I understand his character make over in regards to harry & hermione.
It will be interesting to see how malfoy's knowledge of hermione's time travel will play out as well!
And those training sessions for harry? He's going to be super harry! LOL.
As always, happy writing!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Super Harry makes an heroic pose, his superhero cape flapping in the breeze. "Bring it on, Voldie!"We'll see Severus and Lucius talking about Hermione in the next chapter. Thanks!

My gods, he was nice to Neville? He told Harry about his mum and about Petunia? He was helping train Harry? and I really liked the bit between Severus and Hermione regading her lie. Severus is really changing the time line.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
He definitely is. If he knew his other self better, he'd probably be very surprised at his actions.
Response from beaweasley2 (Reviewer)
I think if his original self knew this self he'd hex something! Probably Dumbledore. Next update please?
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
And Dumbly would deserve it! The next chapter is in the queue.

Take all the time you need! really having severus re-work the timeline is pretty neat!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Thanks! I've got mixed reviews on that! But hopefully you'll enjoy the ride.

Another great chapter. I'm wondering how Severus's relationship with Harry and Hermione at a young age will affect the future?? I want them to be together again, so hurry up *lol*
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I'm hurrying, but I'm sure you'll think it's too slow. At times, even I think that. But there's a lot to cover. You'll see how their relationship affects the future way before Hermione even gets back. (Don't kill me!) Twenty-five years is a long time. I want you to feel Severus' pain.

Awwww How Awesome! (Does a dance) I love the fact that Harry and Severus are rolling together. I'm just worried that things are going to go so well in this future now that there will be no reason for Hermione to go back in time....Damn time travel loops! Lets see what happens next! Much love!!! ~Karen
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Well, that's always a possibility. Maybe she won't need to go back. It really kind of depends on what will happen with Lucius. We'll see some of him in the next chapter, but we won't find out what happens with him until we come to that actual point in time. If that makes any sense whatsoever. Then of course, there's the paradox thing. She's already been back there, so... Mwahahaha

i do like your version way better. i have always thought sev and harry could have gotten along well if sev could have gotten around his prejudice. lovely update. thanks so much, dearest deb with chocolate truffles on top!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I think that given his past, Severus couldn't see past preconceived notions. He was so filled with hatred towards James that he couldn't possibly give Harry a break. No, Harry wasn't a super student, but he was very caring and definitely didn't want all the attention that he got. It's too bad that Severus couldn't open his eyes and see that. But that's what fanfics are for, right? Thanks for your support, kimjo. hugs.

OMG! I'm dying to know what is going to happen with Severus being friendly to Harry and supportive to Neville?? It's difficult to take it all in, but such fun to try! Cheers!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Wierd, huh? The possibilities really are endless. Severus can now take his place as mentor to Harry, something he would have liked to have done much earlier.

I can't wait til Severus sees Hermione for the first time!and I hope more comes of Petunia joining wizarding society...
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Thanks. We'll see quite a bit of Petunia in the chapters to come. And the next chapter is almost up for validation, so hopefully, you won't have to wait too long to see Severus' reaction to Hermione!

Now that was an interesting twist.I'm not sure if you have revealed this yet, but does younger Hermione know what happened, or does she have to wait until herself returns from the past to know?
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
It will become obvious in the next chapter that she hasn't a clue about her future trip.

Just Awesome.....no need to add more! Have had so much pleasure with each update and am now sad that the journey is now over! You are one of my fav writers now and will look up your complete back cat! Please keep writing...love it! :)
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
LOL, Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked this. It truly was a labor of love to write it. The sequel is partly done. It actually is its own story, which will follow 'the other' Hermione. Mwahahaha.
Oh my goodness... This is the best time turner fic I've ever read, and I believe this is because it is not only well written with solid characterizations, but also because of the way that you've attacked the time issue. I'm sure it is a bonified theory with a name, but the idea that nothing is set in stone - we have free will and events can change because of our free will - and yet there is a tendancy for certain things to happen - and if one person doesn't fill that role, it's likely that someone else will. The obvious example of the former is defeating Voldemort earlier or at all. And an example of the latter would be word of the prophesy getting to Voldemort. I think it an intreguing idea that Severus doesn't have to be so malevolent to be successful, and that it's love that fuels him - and whether it's for Lily or Hermione, it still fuels him. (Perhaps it is the hope for the future that sweetens his nature?) I think it will be interesting to see how Harry turns out - I'm going to guess that being loved makes him an even stronger and more stable character, and does not diminish his ability to save the wizarding world once a term. And I wonder about Severus - will Harry remember him? I bet he will. Will there be private mentoring sessions? Will Dudley end up in Slytherin? Will Harry and Ron and Hermione hit it off all the same? Dynamics between three friends are different than between four (adding Dudley). And Severus... how will he act toward Hermione? Gah! So many questions - really, it's just a testament to how spectacular your story is. It has burrowed into my mindscape and set up shop. It sells mugs that proclaim that Petunia is a witch, too, and that Sev has loved Hermione for longer than she's been alive. It has hand painted posters of Harry and Dudley at the final battle, back to back, wands drawn. It has a photograph taken at Slughorn's party of a group shot: Hermione has linked arms with her date, Dudley Dursley, and their teasing each other as the Defense Teacher looks on with an unusually pained scowl, standing just behind them. It has Hermione's certificate of Advanced Study of Defense Against the Dark Arts from her sixth year, and a hand-drawn sketch of a session of Dumbledore's Army practicing with Professor Snape in the Room of Requirement. It has slivers of Nimbus 2000 that Severus secretly sent Harry (which Harry then used to stomp on the Slytherins, much to Severus' consternation). It has hand-drawn sketches of Severus sitting in their tent in the Forest of Dean, outlining the strategy - and you can tell that Ron is the artist, because Harry is looking worried, Dudley is trying to make a point, and Hermione is leaning into Severus' side as she listens, and his arm is around her - 25 years was quite a long time to wait. All this to say that I love your story and I'm so looking forward to the rest of it.

Wow! Thank you
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
, for the wonderful review. I am incredibly flattered.I do think that it's partly the hope for the future that sweetens Severus' nature. Also, a clear understanding of what he could become if he doesn't do so probably scares the bejeebees out of him. (If it's truly possible to scare Severus Snape.)Those questions you ask about the trio and relationships within will all be answered in the next chapter. Of course, some of them are ongoing, like Severus' relationships with Hermione and Harry, and how Dudders relates to everyone too.I like your observation that Severus has loved Hermione for longer than she's been alive. It's so very sweet and bittersweet when put that way. Great shop you've set up! Maybe we can share in the profits? Thank you so much, really. I hope that the rest of this little tale is as enjoyable to you as the first part, and that you like the timeline changes that are to come.

And thank you for your lovely response! I am looking forward to all the next chapters. And yes, definitely, we can share in the profits of the store. Really, I just want the hand drawn pictures and the paintings... ::sigh:: There are days I wish I had that talent. Ah well. So it goes.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
The only one I lay claim to is the Harry/Dudley, back to back. What stories that would conjure up!
Response from sareliz (Reviewer)
Stories I have no problem producing, though generally I don't post to this archive. It's the art that is beyond me...

EXCUSE MEE!!! Where the lemony perfection of fluff that's suppose to come with birthdays between two people who love each other. . . sorry I was looking forward to birthday smut. heehee
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I'm sorry. I don't write smut for several reasons. Firstly, I think I'd be horrible at it. Second, I think that sometimes the smut falls flat. 3--I like to leave things up to the imagination. 4--and most important to me, I think that a story should be able to stand on its own without the sex. Not that I don't read such stuff, I do on occasion. I find, though, that I like the tension that builds before any such act better than the actual description. Call me crazy! Or prudish, I won't be offended. But I can understand how you would be expecting such stuff. It would have been a perfect chapter for it.

it's nice to have a little fluff-fest in amongst the angst! love this story. thanks so much

Angst? There's no angst in this fic! It's just pure romance. Lol. The next chapter isn't full of angst either, as you know.

Awwwwwwww. This is so cute! I had a serious case of the warm -n- fuzzies after reading this. My husband was confused when I was rambling to him via text about strange stuff and then was like I can't wait to see you! Seriously I read cute stuff like this and I just want to snuggle up to him. I'm lame I know. But anyways thanks for the happy fluff and I can't wait to see what Moldy Voldie wants next! Cheers! ~Brena
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
You're not lame at all. Who wouldn't want to cuddle their loved one after reading some romantic story.Moldy Voldie wants nothing good, you can bet on that.

She still spends ALL her time with Severus, (no that I blame her) but her mission is to sway Lucius! Not Severus. He's a bonus! I really think Lucius will revert once she is gone because she's not really mentoring him very much. Even though she's made some progress, this line screams volumes! He looked at her for a long time. “Okay,” he said finally, “I’ll drop your class. I want you to know that it’s against my better judgment.”Parents have great influence, and peer pressure... he will be with those who feel like his father does for 20 years! I was hoping you'd have made better progress with Lucius. I really fear for what she will find when she returns to her time.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
You've brought up some good points about peer and parental pressure. You'll just have to... wait and see... if your prediction is correct.I can tell you that she has made an impact on his life, though. Just how and how much will come out eventually as the story moves along.

I would ahve liked more Hermione - Lucius interaction, I suppose. LOL Not complaining on bit about the Severus/Hermione interactions at all!

If I were Hermione I would sneak in and off Voldie before he got too many more followers. Na. What am I saying. I'm too chicken!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Buck, buck, bagack! I'm sure it's easier said than done to 'off' Voldie. She should try, though. It would make everything so much simpler!

OH a nice little party. Seveus so deserved a nice birthday. BUt the stirring rod is a yard long? wow! Isn't that a bit long, considering he brews on a worktable? I always thought that they were a little taller than a dinner table? Hummmm? But I missed the voldie thing? enjoying the payfullness over the suit color!

Okay, so maybe my vision of a cauldron is a bit larger than yours. I keep flashing to that huge one the rat used to return Voldie to his body. The voldie thing was just a heads up that he's in the next chapter requesting something from Severus.

I can tell you exactly what moldy-voldy wants...world domination.I loved the fluff, I needed some fluff today.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
You hit the nail right on the head. World dominiation, a few Mudbloods to kneel at his throne as a bench for his weary feet. Mass murder of anyone who disagrees with him. Nothing big, really.I'm glad the fluff helped to brighten your day. Fluff has such a wonderful way of doing that!
