I am a classically trained singer with three children. I love Star Trek and have watched probably every episode of every series. Favorite HP charaters are Snape and McGonagall. (not as a couple.)

I'm quite sad that Umbridge won't be around anymoe, your insults to her were posititvely wicked!! The changes to the battle were very nice, I also thought Neville ought to have had a better chance. I like that Dudley spoke up w/ Neville in bravery. The little doll makes me well up everytime! Soon. *sigh*
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
It was really fun to torture Umbridge, but alas, all things must come to an end. We'll see our little doll again sometime. Severus needs her to get over the rough spots.
I like his wee dolly! :)
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Thanks! She's a good comfort for him.
I can't wait for Hermione to be old enough for Severus.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
OH, I know! It's taking forever! Poor Severus, waiting all that time.
I liked your version better than canon.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Lol, thanks! I have to admit, I do too, but you know, it's my tale, so... of course I do.
Stupid Pink Toad! OMG She wants my foot up her ass. Seriously. I love how everyones harrassing the crap out of her. The poodle thing was funny, and I'm happy to hear that you're including you're own poodle in your story! Very awesome. I love putting little bits of me in my stories also. Knowing that Severus is putting his memories in the pensive makes me kind of worried. I'm so afraid this Harry is going to be just as nosey as the other Harry...Ack! Can you imagine if Harry saw Hermione with Severus! OMG Total Drama City. Anyways, Wonderful Chapter Dear, I of course can't wait to read about the ousting of the giant Pink Hippo. Much Love ~

Oh, I hate Umbridge. She's not done yet either. Soon, though, she'll be heading away with the Centaurs. Mwahahaha. In reality, my poodle would probably cower and roll over for a belly rub, but I gave him some guts in this. This Harry is a little more respectful of Severus, so he won't be dipping his face into the Pensieve. However... Mwahahaha again. You'll find out in the next chapter, which just happens to be in the queue.
Great installment, but am I the only one that thinks it would be interesting if Harry's curiosity got the best of him and he looked in the Pensieve anyway? It would really put a whole new spin on Harry's relationship with Hermione and Severus if he knew what was coming, but in true Harry fashion he would promise not to tell anyone and of course would keep his promise. I am really enjoying speculating on what you'll do with the story next.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Lol. How close to the truth you are! Something similar will happen in the next chapter. So, you're definitely not the only one who would think that would be interesting.
great chapter. thank you
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Thank you! I'm glad you liked it.
Very interseting how you twisted things with Umbridge and canon. I especially loved teh dogs! LOL Keep it up.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
The dogs were especially fun to write. Thank you so much. --Deb
Nice chapter, but it missed a bit of the zing your other chapters had. The bright spot of the chapter was of course Fred and George's prank. I loved how the other teachers showed their dislike of Deloris.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
She thinks she's respected, but, of course, she's not. I too had fun with Fred and George. They're a blast. More action will come in the next chapter. Thanks.
This really is fun. Where's Ron? Not that I really care, but he is part of the story.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Does anyone really care about Ron? He'll be around. Moreso in sixth year and beyond...
wonderful update! i loved severus' daydream about her, too. what would severus do if he found out about harry's "lines" from detention? great stuff, my deb! those little black ones can be a bit psycho! my great aunt had one who could meow like a cat...no lie! thanks so much my lovely and i look forward to the next chapter. (me blowing kisses)
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Mine sounds kind of like a shrieking cat when he's whining! He's psycho, as I've said. I think he has a dual personality. One minute he acts like a dog and is playful, the next, he's like a cat and hiding behind the furniture. I'm tellin' ya... psycho! Well, Severus does find out about the 'lines' in the next chapter.
I actually got tears in my eyes from the 'pink hippo' comments. The blind date was very good. It's very true-to-life that we meet someone we could be interested in, after we've fallen for someone else! The tweaks you gave to Occlumency lessons were wonderful. I'm continually amazed at your ability to make changes, yet get to the same places! Lovely.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Thanks! That's a wonderful compliment. More pink hippo comments to come. It is possible to meet someone who you click with after the fact. I wanted to show that and the fact that Severus wasn't living like a hermit, whether he was the instigator or not!
(Is that not supposed to be "piqued"? Also, my Brit pickers have assured me that in Britain, one does not "graduate", one simply leaves school.)I *do* hope that Severus and Nat are able to stay on amicable terms, since they got on so well. He does need someone besides his colleagues, the Death Eaters, and *his wife*cough*Hermione* to have an intelligent conversation with.Godric's Hollow, hmm? This has all the makings o fa later plot point! *takes notes* ;)That Canis spell is pure genius. :D (And I'm a cat person, but I *hate* Umbridge!)I don't know if I've mentioned this, but I've wanted to read a story where Snape and Harry actually have a reasonable relationship for YEARS! (Although I personally would've loved to see him Sorted into Slytherin. heh.)
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
You're right, it is supposed to be piqued. I thought I had fixed that. Darn it. Glad you liked the Canis spell. It was quite fun to create. I always wondered what a good relationship between Severus and Harry would look like, so I went ahead and wrote one. Lol!Wife, huh? You're jumping the gun there, aren't you? Oh, yes, we all know what we want to see. I know.
Response from cmwinters (Reviewer)
Well, so many people make the Severus/Hermione relationshiop about his utter and abject inability to find anyone intelligent to converse with who is not his colleague at Hogwarts or a Death Eater. Now granted, Severus is uncommonly intelligent, but Hermione is ot the only smart cookie out there. I'd LOVE to see him have an intelligent woman as a friend.
Loved it! It's interesting to see how you get to all the important points, yet let Snape and Harry have a decent relationship.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Thanks. I like the fact that these two can get along. Much more to come!
oh yes! love this story. love and your story is lovelier the second time arround, just like the song! thanks so much my delightful delicious deb. (me blowing kisses)
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Thanks, hon. You always put a smile on my face. See?
Poor frustrated Potions master!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I know. Don't you just want to give him a big hug? And he's got so much time ahead of him.
I keep forgetting how good this story is. I read it on another site a while back, but in case I shorted you a review... I love the way you have altered the future to better suit this Snape.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
The man deserves a break, don't you think? That and a little happiness. Thanks! I'm glad you're doin' the re-read. It's very flattering.
This is just wicked, torturing poor Severus. Glad we will be seeing more of then together now.Can I ask, as i'm a liitle confused. When Hermione turns 22, won't there be two of her? And the whole process will start again, or am I just being a little thick lol ? Look forwward to the next update though, as always.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
There are never any thick questions when referring to time travel. That's just my opinion. Just thinking about it for any length of time is enough to give you a headache. You're absolutely right, though. There will be two of her. But... you'll see what happens. All will make sense when the time comes. (Hopefully... it makes perfect sense to me!)
Response from Nessa (Reviewer)
Woow I'm actually right- I thought gosh, it's just gonna be such a simple answer, making me sound silly. But it's gonna be very interesting when there will be two.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Well, you're kind of right. They won't come in contact with each other.
Okay, seriously, the dance scene was TORTURE! Poor Severus. Poor us! But really, you did a masterful job describing his inner turmoil and the tension and temptation he felt when dancing with her. It was my favorite part of the chapter. Though I am also enjoying seeing my favorite character play a much more central role in the books. Oh, and his love of deducting points for PDA! Ha!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I know, I know, it was torture, wasn't it?! It's my favorite part of this group of chapters, I think. At least, so far. Heh, heh. It's kind of ironic that he loves to penalize for PDA because he was the one who snogged Hermione senseless during the Halloween dance when he was a youth and nobody said a word. Bah! But that's our Severus, right?
I LOVE seeing them together again. I think it only cements their later attraction to strengthen their friendship first. Again, I must bow to you, the interventions that Severus makes without truly changing the through-line of the plot. I was also glad to see a bit of snark come back to Severus as he went on his 'groper raid', we can't have him too nice, can we? Oh dear, if you're doing 2 chapters per year, are their really eight more years at two chapters each?!? (Oh coure, I'll gobble up every word and complain when it's finished, if you write a thousand more chapters...)That seems like an eternity for them to be apart! Oh wait, I bet this is how Severus is feeling...
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Ah, very observant. I am doing two chapters a year right now. But once the final battle is over, there'll be an interim--fill in the blanks--chapter, so we're looking at about ten chapters. I think she comes back in chapter 35, if I remember correctly. --evil grin. And, yes, you got it... that's how Severus is feeling, and I want you to feel that too.As for the 'groper raid' as you so poetically put it, he has to have some fun, right? He's a bit nicer, but he's still got that quick temper, and a love of seeing the students squirm.
Awwwwww How Cute! OmG, I seriously can't tell you enough times how much I love this story! It makes me all warm -n- fuzzy and stuff. Seriously awesome update! I can't wait for more! Much Love & Happy Holidays~ Brena
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Aw, gee, thanks. You're making me blush. I'm thrilled that you love it so much. Happy Holidays to you too, Brena. --Deb
I loved how Severus started working on Hermione's self esteem, but how did she get poor self esteem to begin with? Severus's lurking in the wings waiting for Hermione to grow up is a hoot also.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I've always thought that Hermione's personality was a bit related to low self-esteem. She needs to be right about everything, needs to be accomplished, needs to prove herself. (She's quite needy!) But seriously, I think she has a drive to succeed, but feels a bit at a loss because she hasn't had all the training that non-Muggle-born wizards receive. She's constantly trying to catch up, but never realizes she's far ahead of everyone else.I think that's a little evident in her study for her exams every year. She knows the material like the back of her hand, but is positive she's failed everything after all of her hard work. Then there's the timeline. I think her insecurities come out more in this timeline for her.
I love your story and how her little 'drop' in the past made such a difference in the future.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
It's interesting how just a little bit of meddling can change so much. I'm so glad you like this so much.
Another great chapter dear! Its nice to see that shes making a difference in Lucius' life and that James got a talking to from Lily. I was afraid that Hermiones presence is going to change other things besides the Serverus/Lucius situation (Like James and Lily breaking up) but I'm just going to have to wait and see. Its in you hands dear, and I know the remainder of this tale is going to rock! Cheers! ~

Well, it will change more than just Severus and Lucius, but without the boy who lived, we wouldn't have much story. And he won't come about unless a certain red head marries a certain Marauder, whether he deserves it or not.
