Intriguing start!I would suggest only that you switch this: "and the last class of the day is a Hufflepuff second year group.” to 'third year group', since per canon, arithmancy was not offered until third year.

Nice start, but I don't believe that Arithmancy classes are offered to second year students. Elective subjects seemed to start in third year (PoA).

I find this story concept very intriguing. can't wait to read more.

I really liked your story, particularly the parts that Severus changed after Hermione left for her own time again. Because he changed so much, it did seem like he was out of character slightly, but i guess that's the point isn't it? He's not really the same man anymore. I'm still a little lost as to why the other Hermione just disappeared though, that part didn't quite make sense to me, but I don't have the mind for time-travel theories either. Anyways, lovely story, thank you for sharing it with us.

Very clever of you to show us a regular disagreement between Hermione and Severus. New couples disagree and they have more of a past than the average couple. I'm glad to see them working things out and horrors, not splitting up. Wonderful chapter, I enjoyed it.

whew, that's a relief!  Ron's not going to turn into his counterpart and neither is Severus, and I'm glad Hermione has realized that.  thanks for the new chapter!

I can see three possible endings.1. Hermione follows Severus into death (either now or later) and they have a happy afterlife.2. Hermione is successful at C.P.R. or some other way to resurrect Severus.3. They have a new chance at life together through reincarnation.Another possibility is you have something in mind that I haven't considered. It will be interesting to see how this will all pan out.
