I am a classically trained singer with three children. I love Star Trek and have watched probably every episode of every series. Favorite HP charaters are Snape and McGonagall. (not as a couple.)
Reviews for Time's Treasure
Deb, you are absolutely EVIL. And brilliant. And EVIL!!! I wholeheartedly approve. Lots. Looking forward to the fix!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
You're right, I AM evil! (Thank you for the brilliant part.) I think you're the only person who actually approves of this! LOL
Response from peppermint (Reviewer)
Well, I am Slytherin... mayhem is part and parcel... but I trust you.
I"m Not Afraid Of Moose! I am afraid of gophers and ants. So as long as there are no ants!I liked how you handled the party and the way Hermione manipulated Lucius right up to the fight. Ok, the fight was good - clever - unique (Did they damage the art? Or just a table?) But did you HAVE to kil him? Did you? You promised a happy ending... Okay, where did I stach the Mosse gun? LOL
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I think some of the art was damaged also. 'Twas a fierce battle after all. You know, I contemplated not killing him over and over again and always came to the same conclusion... yes, I did have to kill him.
Response from beaweasley2 (Reviewer)
I trust you, Deb. And I'm scared of those moose/mooses/meese... :P
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I bet it's more the meeses. Thanks for your confidence.
I assume there will be time travel involved, but wow, I really wasn't expecting that.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
There might be. You'll see. Thanks!
Wait - you can't leave us this way! Whyoming (yes spelling intentional) is not so far that we can't find you to answer why!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Whyoming may not be far, but it's empty. Great place to hide. I'll update quickly from my hiding place, so you won't have to wonder too long.
That was just cold. How could you do that to us??? Now I just hope that promise of a happy ending happens soon *lol*
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I'm just evil. Plain and simple. I will update soon, so as to not leavey you in suspense for too long.
that "one heart" thingie better have a way to share her life-force or something so that he comes back to life, and I don't mean Lucius!! grrrr....oh, I suppose you can have Harry and the Order round up the stray Death Eater guests. write, or the moose will nibble you!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Of course you don't mean Lucius. That would be silly! What a great hypothesis! You'll see if you're right soon. I will hurry the next chapter. And yes, Harry and the Order did round up the strays. Stay away, you moose! I have a big stick!
Response from June W (Reviewer)
moose doesn't care about your puny stick! moose is looking for new chapter!!
Sniff. Sniff. Don't you love us, Debjunk? How can you kill off the hero? That's so cold.I reread the last chapter and I couldn't find your subtle hints regarding the means to a happy end. I will guess a Time Turner plays a part in your evil plot. I wait on pins and needles (Oh, stop the torture!) until you post the next chapter. Nevertheless, I love your work.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I do love you Clarvoyant, and everyone else too. I'm just an evil author that likes to pull strings. The hints aren't in this last chapter. Time-Turner seems to be the prevalent guess. You'll see soon. I will hurry with the update. Thank you!
Evil, evil, EVIL! And yet, so good...
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Now that's a compliment!
Okay, I am a little shellshocked, but I trust you. I also trust that if I am wrong in my assessment that the moose will take care of business lol.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
You'll be well within your rights to seek out the moose if it doesn't go as you hope it does.
Really how could you kill Severus? This is the first fic that i've read that an author has killed him, it's like reading 'the deathly hallows' all over again. They'd just reunited. I do hope to see a happy ending, I do hope it's a happy ending.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I'm sorry. It is like The Deathly Hallows all over again, isn't it? But not in the way you'd expect. Bwahahahahahaha!
I almost cried. Killing Severus was just downright cruel...Please tell me there is a happy ending that doesn't involve Hermione killing herself so they can be together in the afterlife!!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Oooh, that would be harsh. I promise a thousand times over that will not happen. Although I do believe in happy afterlife lives, I also believe in happy here-and-now lives. They're always more satifying, too.
Ouch.I think you just managed to surpass both Lucius and Voldemort himself in sheer cruelty. To cut Severus down so soon after he and Hermione were FINALLY reunited ... that's downright inhumane!!!So how could there possibly be a happy ending? Unless ... Hermione were to go back to her original time? Because that Severus would still be alive, wouldn't he?
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Hmm, that would work. You'll see if you're right. It was incredibly mean, wasn't it? It seems that they never get any time together, the poor things.
Nooooo! How could you?!? How could you be so cruel as to kill Severus after making him endure such a long wait for Hermione to return? To all appearances, you're going to have to pull off the literary equivalent of pulling a rabbit out of a hat in order to bring about a happy ending now...and you'd better!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Oh, I will... I will.Sorry... but not sorry enough!
You can't be serious! We came all this way just for him to DIE?????Ok - Time Turrner, right now.....
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Well, dying is a relative thing.
I just read all 40 chapters in one sitting. I am a Yooper and moose do not frighten me. Please make it all worthwhile in the next chapter, like I know you will.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Thank you for the confidence. I will hurry with the update.
That was pure evil! Totally, unforgivably evil. Will she go back in time again to save him?
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
That's definitely a possiblity. Sorry to be so evil. Well, obviously not sorry enough.
AUGGHH! NOOO! 40 CHAPTERS!!! I have followed this story for 40 CHAPTERS!!! ............<whimper>
Response from Severessa (Reviewer)
I just re read the note at the end of the chapter. I HAVE EATEN MOOSE!! YUMMY!I'm still just heartsick!!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Sorry. Is moose any good? You won't be disappointed. Bear with me. I will get the next chapter up quickly.
Moose: very effective deterrent from searching for fanfiction writers. I will stay here in Ohio, no Wyoming trips for me.I look forward to seeing how this becomes a happy ending, quite honestly your subtle hints have eluded me, I might have to go reread later on to see what I come up with. While glad isn't the right word, I'm glad that you clarified that Snape was dead, keeps me from going over everything again. Now I will just anticipate reading the next chapter. =)
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Well, that makes one person who won't be on the hunt. <---Watch out for those guys... they're trouble.I will hurry with the next chapter.
I'd be mad, but I can't even think. I read it twice, b/c I couldn't believe you'd kill him. PLEASE bring him back. Good God! You are cruel, and evil and utterly brilliant. ;] Still my absolute hero! Can't wait for more. *hugs*
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Sorry. But evidently not much. You're so sweet, even when I've been so utterly horrible. I'll hurry up with the next chappie.
YOU KILLED HIM TOO!!!!!!! ouch! and I followed this story so faithfully. You'd better make that ending lemony fresh!! I fear no moose!!! ARRGGGGG!!!
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
*Hangs head in shame* Don't lose faith. We're not done yet.
Aha! Lucius thinks he's being smooth, just to give the Order the perfect opportunity to bring him down. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Oh, you won't be... you won't be.
This is an amazing twist! Petunia with powers!I really like where all of this is heading. And Sirius Black is the betrayer, not Wormtail! I can hardly wait to see what happens there. Does that mean that Wormtail is Harry's Godfather and is now in Azkaban for killing Sirius and 20 Muggles? And Sirius is in hiding with one less finger? You are re-writing the entire story. Quite a task. I can hardly wait to see what happens. But when even a small thing is changed in the passed, it can affect the future in big ways.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Well, actually, it's still Wormtail. They just don't know it yet. That would have been an icredible plot twist, though! That's it exactly. Hermione's 'tweaking' of the past has far reaching repercussions. Lots of them.
I suspect Hermione will have her hands full. Good chapter.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
Oh, she will. However will she escape his advances?
I feel the same way, Severus wouldn't become the dour man we know and love if he didn't go through all of the pain and anguish of playing the spy. Somehow I knew that you would find a way for him to become the spy anyway. And Dumbledore's actions are the most logical choice.Great stuff! I am really enjoying this story.
Response from debjunk (Author of Time's Treasure)
I'm glad you continue to enjoy it. Severus' spywork is part of what I admire most about him. The fact that he did it for so long, and it was definitely a thankless job, and he had to be incredibly brave to do any of it all form a huge part of Snape.
