Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.
Reviews for Polyandry and Other Problems
This was really great, and I felt so horrible for Severus! How awkward! I'm glad that he sees Hermione as his and only his, though. Good job!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! Poor Severus. He is quite insistent that this is primarily SSHG.
Hm, not a typical threesome. How uncomfortable!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Indeed! The poor characters. Thanks for reviewing!
More like poor Lucius... I actually feel sorry for him! But it was great chapter and even kinda hot, I guess beause it was written from Sev's pov.Great work!gab
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it, I did my best.
I suspect it is difficult all the way around for all of them. Hopefully time and patience will cure most of their ill from this situation.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Very difficult, yes. With any luck, it will. Thanks for reviewing!
I was wondering how, given the mutual tension between these three, you were going to get them into the same room for... ahem! amorous activity. Very creative! Now I wonder how long they are each going to torture themselves because they each enjoyed it and don't want to tell the others...
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I'm delighted you think so.A rather difficult situation for them to talk about, although they're not about to forget in a hurry.
Lucius appears to be softrening towards Hermione. It's a pity the other two can't see it. :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Heh! Poor Lucius. In the other two's defence, they do have a lot on their plate.
WOW, what an update! and what a cliffie!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I hope the cliffie isn't too evil. With any luck I'll be posting the next chapter soon, once I get it back from all of my betas.
Harry and Draco to share Miss Weasley--that is loads of snarky fun!Severus is got himself so wound up I am suprised his head didnt fly off his shoulders. I expect when his occulmency walls break down its going to be rather dramatic. Thank you for the update!!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Glad you think so! At least they seem willing to share...Lucius is rather good at winding him up, yes. And you'd be right that it does have the potential to be dramatic. Thanks for reviewing! Next update is being betaed.
I'm very much enjoying this good job.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you, I'm glad to hear it.
"A fine figure, to be sure, but combined with that mind … Lily Evans, eat your heart out." "The minor demon masquerading as her cat was happy to have Hermione home."you do have a talent for good one-liners.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! Glad you like those lines.
Ooooh, it's getting good! I am curious to see where it goes from here. I don't think either man will like sharing!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I hope you like how it goes. Severus will be especially reluctant, I think.
wot?!?! we has to WAIT for a new chapter?? hmph....I think Severus is doing very well, but not too sure how he'll react to Lucius wanting to "share" Hermione, if that happens here. but I'd be very curious to see if you do a Harry-Ginny-Draco! will you show us other witches affected by memory loss - Minerva, Molly, other Hogwarts staff, even Rita Skeeter? thanks for the update!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Unfortunately real life can be rather demanding, even when the plot bunny is cooperating. I hope to keep the waits between chapters less than a month though!I can't imagine that Severus would react well to the possibility of sharing Hermione, no!Harry-Ginny-Draco is certainly a possibility, and certainly what Lucius would like to happen. Thanks for reviewing!
I was glad to see Draco appear here. I think having Hermione assist him will go a long way toward healing issues within the Malfoy family.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks! Hopefully it will help to heal the rift between father and son.
"Nothing yet, she had a bad reaction to the drawing room before we could discuss it.”I find this extremely funny in and of itself, but even more so because you have said that Malfoy manor has sentient qualities.
heh. I don't even want to imagine what hermione's parents will think. I will leave that up to you.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks! Glad you found that funny, and all the more so because of Malfoy Manor's sentient qualities.
I think Hermione is getting to Lucius just a little bit. I am looking forward to the wedding night -- two grooms -- that should be interesting. And what will Hermione do about Draco? Who's left out there? I look forward to that part of the story as well. Thanks for posting, JoAnne
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Maybe she is. Although if she is, I'm pretty certain that he's in denial.I hope you will find it interesting, although it might not be quite what you're expecting.Hermione will find Draco a bride somehow.Hope you enjoy the rest of the tale!
*sniff* Smells like Draco/Ginny. . . Love the developments! Poor Draco, cornered by the Grangers!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Perhaps Draco/Ginny. That's certainly what Lucius is hoping for.Poor Draco. But at least he had decent teeth, so nothing to fear from the Grangers.Thank you!
I find it hilarious that ron is taller than snape. I like it. it's good to shake things up every once in a while. I mean, in canon, snape looms, but is he ever even described as tall? thank you!and what good, exactly, will polyandry do to bolster the population?“The road to hell is paved with good intentions, young lady. You must learn to bear in mind the consequences of your actions.” I am glad you put this in...I often think about that in relation to hermione's memory charms on her parents. I don't think I would have had the nerve to do that... I think it also applies to most Marriage Law stuff. though I have to say i think it's hard to believe that hermione's parents would have said that proverb to her when she was six.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Glad you like that! I've no doubt that Snape is tall enough to loom, but that doesn't mean that he's the tallest person around. The plague caused a population crash, so the theory is that polyandry will help to maximise the genetic variation. As the women are in shortage, as many of them need to breed as possible. At least, that's what the Wizengamot hopes for.Hermione was a bright and precocious child. If she wasn't, her parents certainly wouldn't have used that proverb at the time. Thanks for reviewing!
Malfoys always want something, don't they?
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Always! Even redeemed ones. Thanks for reviewing.
Indeed she's not the sweet little thing everyone thougt. Just curious about why Kingsley gave the memories. wAas there some hiddeng meaning?
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Indeed not! At least Severus and Lucius know the real Hermione now, and don't seem too put off...Kingsley thought that Severus and Lucius would appreciate seeing what Hermione was capable of, and that it would make Lucius respect her more. Nothing more than that!Thank you!
Lucius-the-Lusty. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! Glad you like that nickname for him!
Of the three, she's the troublemaker? LOL :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Well, maybe not the only one... but definitely not innocent!Thank you!
Thanks for another entertaining chapter. The jail scene was funny -- I feel sorry for Severus -- Lucioius is having too much fun taunting! Looking forward to more!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Poor Severus indeed. Lucius just can't resist tormenting him.More coming soon!
Very nice. I liked Lucius pouting at their 'abandoning' him. And the last line was cute. Looking forward to the next.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you!Poor Lucius. He needs the attention!Next chapter coming soon!
~whaps Lucius over the head with a wooden spoon...a really big heavy one...then puts stuff in his shampoo that always gives him split ends and untameable frizz....snickers with her goblin friends then hides in jareth's closet and watches with a surveillance crystal~ oh snap! he'll never know it was us!rock on hermione!OO! They should go to a techno dance club for a fun night out! and then they should leave lucius in a back alley in the ghetto with no escape!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
That's certainly one way to get revenge on Lucius...Rock on indeed!Thank you!
Great chapter, so what problem is up next?? Luscious Lucius perhaps??
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! Perhaps... we shall see!Next chapter coming soon.
