Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

I love it!!Your humour has me in absolute fits and the story is really good. Forced marriagehas been used many times but this is totally original and I'm really enjoying reading it. Unfortunately I've gotta stop now, will read more tomorrow!

If anyone can find something in tons of Ministry's archives, that's surely our Hermione.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Indeed! It just might take her a while and quite a bit of trial and error. Thanks for reviewing!

Merlin, you really managed to increase the tension and complexity again! Not that Lucius deserved aything better but the others do. Please, don't kill all the sweet little witches that are on their way, will you?!Can you provide us with a glance at the Ginny-Harry-Draco triple when Lucius visits them?
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you. This is turning into a very tense story. There might be a glimpse of that triple very soon...
The part about Ginny was surprising and I figure Lucius will eventually want to assert some of his hubandly rights. Even though he grieves for Narcissa, he still will have needs and desires and Hermione is there and supposed to fulfill them. Whether Severus approves is another story.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Hermione might have something to say to that, too... if there was anything left of Lucius, as I doubt Severus would react terribly well. Thanks for reviewing!

I feel sorry for Lucius. He is really the left out one here.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Hopefully his circumstances will have changed by the end of the story... not that I can promise anything. Thanks for reviewing!

Was surprised that Draco wanted Ginny. I guess I'm remembering wrong, but I could've sworn he said at the wedding that he didn't want to marry a pure-blood...unless the 'impure' blood that (I thought) he was refering to was Harry's... Can't wait to see what Hermione comes up with, whether it's muggle sperm banks or you have something else in mind. Also wonder if another visit to Fawkes would help any now that her 'new' memories have had a chance to settle some, and whether it would be quite as painful the second time around.Hope to see more soon!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
You're remembering right, he did say something of the sort to Lucius... but a Weasley is rather different to most other pure-bloods. Lucius wanted Draco to pick Ginny, but Draco wanted to make his own choice... so let his father think differently, even though his chosen future wife ended up being Ginny. I hope that clears things up a bit!We shall see! More coming soon. Thanks for reviewing!

I hope Hermione and Lucius come to an understanding. There doesn't need to be awkwardness between them. They could easily be friends if they just tried.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
It will take time, but you're quite right that it's possible. Thanks for reviewing!

Interesting. With Sev, Lucius and hermione working together, the Wizengamot is pretty much doomed to failure. Of course, these things take time, so lots more chapters full of intersting twists and juicy lemons to come I hope!

Thanks! I hope it will be an interesting ride!

I am sure this is going to be interesting, if anyone can find ways to change this it's Hermione, Severus and Lucius! Between them there should be enough brain, stubborness, charm and wealth to upturn the world if they wanted to.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
They are certainly a formidable team... Thanks for reviewing!

Interesting chapter, if anyone can find a way to change things Hermione can. I think it's kind of sad she can't go to the bank, why doesn't she have her handsome hubby pay for damages so she can get a new account? It's not like Voldermort would have been kind to goblins so they should be reasonable too.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks! True, they weren't treated kindly under Voldemort, but I suspect the goblins' pride was damaged too much for any amount of money to mend.

I was just thinking about this story the other day and hoped you would be udating soon. You've left me with so much to think about until the next update (which I hope will be soon).Harry and Draco sharing Ginny, I can see the fireworks now!

Kingsley's comment to come with a viable alternative rather than criticism is advice I have often heard in the business world and it got me thinking. If what you want is babies, you have to go where the babies are and if what you need is mothers then you have to go where the mothers are. The alternative I see is sperm bank. The ministry could assign each wizard to a sperm bank in a major city, rotating them every few years for the next 20 years. They could place an attraction charm on the donor's profile and a conception charm on the sperm. It has several advantages:1. The muggle mothers get what they want, babies.2. The wizarding community gets what it wants, genetically diverse magical population.3. It avoids anything distasteful such as actually copulating with muggles.4. It avoids issues of inheritance, though it wouldn't surprise me if outstanding "muggle-borns" don't attract the interest of magical male patrons when they show up at school.5. It has the benefit of potentially producing more children than a typical wizard would ever normally produce, perhaps 60+ over the 20 years (more for the wizards with cute pictures in their bios). Polyandry would be unnecessary for purposes of procreation.6. The program could easily be extended throughout the world (wherever sperm banks are used) to maximize genetic diversity.7. It is something a wizard wouldn't think of since sperm banks are distinctly muggle and so would be logical if suggested by a muggle-born or a muggle-born's parents.8. It avoids all of the "blood" prejudicial issues raised in the war by making the next generation "half-blood" at most and on the record as muggle-born while being doted upon by the pureblood patrons.I know it sounds a little Village of the Damned, with the ministry playing the Kirstie Alley character, but it isn't as if they are forcing the muggle women to have babies. They want to have babies.I love your story. It is rare that a story keeps me awake thinking "how would I solve this?" Thanks for the opportunity to take a little mental vacation to join in to the intrigue you have created!

Glad this story got you thinking! Sperm banks are an option, but like most things, not without drawbacks... we'll see what Hermione can come up with! Thanks for reviewing and hope I can keep you thinking!

yay! Ginny is going to consider Draco!! poor guy, tho - getting all those brothers-in-law. (btw, didn't Molly die earlier of this illness? I can't remember who survived...)I think this new challenge will help Hermione, Severus, and Lucius draw closer together. can Lucius still have his other "ladies" on the side, as he did just after Narcissa's death? curious.thank you for the new chapter - you always keep me guessing!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Poor Draco indeed! (Molly did indeed die. The reference to her was before she died, or should have been. Hope I didn't slip up!)It should, if nothing else crops up... we shall see! Thanks for reviewing!

"Saddling her with Draco..." I love it! It's so true. Well, it would have been true if Draco is still like the Draco of old, which she doesn't really know for sure yet... dang, this gets confusing! Well done

Thanks! I'm sure even turned-a-new-leaf Draco has his bad moments.

Haha, poor Malfoy, at least he's learned to be leery a bit when it comes to the "too good to be true" type of situations. I also hope Hermione starts to see the good side of Lucius soon. And Draco and Ginny and Harry! OooooMore please!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Lucius has definitely learned that lesson the hard way!More coming soon. Within a day or two. Thanks for reviewing!

Yeesh, if they don't have to go through enough. Ginny is going to be the envy of all fandom if Harry will go along with it.

I think Harry/Ginny/Draco would be a good triad. I see Ginny has pointed out the obvious to Hermione regarding Lucius's options for female companionship.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Hopefully they will, if the news doesn't give Harry a heart attack. So obvious that it didn't occur to even Lucius... proving an outside view useful! Thanks for reviewing.
