Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

Thank you! I'm delighted that you're so impatient for more. You won't have to wait much longer, either, as I'm about to post the next chapter.
Good chapter, I liked her reaction to Harry and Draco!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you, I'm glad to hear it!
Thank you for the update!Interesting developments with the Arithmancy and evil cliffie!Looking forward to seeing what happens next - please update soon!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you for reviewing!I'm glad they're interesting, I hope the next chapter will be interesting too. With any luck it'll be posted within a few days.
I am glad you didn't make this a total smut fest, meaning I am glad you kept it honest with Hermione being shaken up by the whole thing, her reliance on Severus to help calm her, and her mixed emotions afterwards. Believable while still being quite erotic. I look forward to seeing what the "morning after" holds.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! While difficult to write, it was certainly worth keeping it believable. Next chapter coming soon!
It's so good to have you and them back. And it's so like her to try something potentially dangerous alone. Stupid Griffindor. I know she wants to help but still. I hope everything will turn right in the end.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you, it's good to be back! It is very Hermione, isn't it? Hopefully it will...
Great Story!!!I guess from the previous chapter that this might be the point at which the other Arithmancers died at reaching a level of magic too strong for them? But for Hermione, is it that or the plague again? And how are Lucius and Severus supposed to get past her wards to help her? Could the answer be Elf-magic? For that matter, who's to say we can trust the other elves? And why hasn't anyone thought of waking up Dumbledore's portrait to see if he has any input into the plague and its cure? Now, see, now I'm wondering why Dumbledore's portrait let Slughorn get away with the way he transcripted the Book of Names the way he did! He would have known, would he have not? And that brings us back to Umbridge! Could she have pulled more stunts than just the cure debacle? Hmmmm!! Curiouser and Curiouser!!!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you!Luckily for Hermione, she could use Vector's test. Unfortunately for the other Arithmancers, they couldn't, so didn't know that it would kill them to do the calculation. Hope that clears that up!We shall see...Good question about Dumbledore! He does seem to be a rather heavy sleeper.Hopefully Umbridge only had the opportunity to doom the Muggle-borns outside Hogwarts!
Ack!! Hermione, what have you done?? Where is Fawkes! Oh, my, I'm so glad your uni schedule is slowing a bit. (waits for Lucius to go with Severus... destroys the Pensieve with the ultra-private memories of Severus and Hermione....) Thanks for the new chapter! Good to see you again.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I'm sure Hermione thinks she only did what she had to... whether Severus will agree is another matter entirely! Funny you should mention Fawkes...(Lucius is not best pleased, but a Reparo or two will fix things)It is theoretically summer holidays for me at the moment until near the end of September. In practice there's research to do, but I'm less tied up than I am in term time! It's good to be able to post a bit more frequently - next chapter is with my betas and will hopefully be posted within a few days.

(waits for Ayerf to get distracted....kicks Lucius....)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
(Lucius sulks, which had better not make him difficult to write in Chapter 34...)
I have very little time so I just let you know how much I like your fic. Keep up the good work.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you for leaving a review despite lack of time! I'll do my best.
I feel more sorry for Lucius than the other two. He is missing Narcissa, feeling guilty about enjoying Hermione on several levels and has his home invaded by the other two, who aren't as grateful as they could be!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
It's a sorry situation for them all, but yes, poor Lucius. He doesn't have it easy. Thanks for reviewing!
Poor Lucius. Not only is he feeling guilty about having to consumate his marriage with Hermione, he has to deal with her bein unresponsive and tense, not to mention unwilling, and then deal with the guilt of still wanting more of her. What a lot to deal with!I am glad Hermione put Harry in his place (he was sort of playing Dumbledore there - keeping certain things from her that she ought to know), I do hope she does not end their friendship over this.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Poor man. I'm really not making this easy for him.Harry hopefully learnt a valuable lesson. For now, Hermione doesn't want to see him, but he's still a friend.
ouch!! poor Hermione, Severus, AND Lucius. git Harry deserved a good yelling-at. I hope things get better soon for the newlyweds. thanks for updating!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Quite a painful situation for the poor newlyweds, yes. Harry definitely deserved what he got, hopefully he'll know better than to keep things from Hermione in future.Surely things can't get worse for them...Thanks for reviewing!
Rather enjoyed the meeting with Harry, and that it left a permanent reminder on the door was great. Feel a bit sorry for all three of them after the consumation. So much guilt and jealousy going around can't be healthy...Had a thought, that since both Severus and Hermione know Lucius is still grieving over Narcissa and have noticed him being upset with (either the idea of taking off his old wedding band and/or) wearing the new one, that maybe one or both of them could get him a chain for him to wear his old ring on...if it's under his clothes it's not like Wizarding Society would know... Looking forward to the next!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I'm glad to hear it.Nope, not healthy at all. But surely things can only get better now...As for the ring... wait and see!Next chapter coming soon.
This is great, You have an excellent sense of humor and originality. If you had Hermione enjoying Lucius I would have been disappointed. You kept her in character very well and handled the situation tastefully. Also, the way you're portraying her parents is hysterical. Well done. Please keep it comimg.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! While difficult to write, I'm glad this chapter was worth it.More coming soon!
Oh, poor Lucius - in a sense! Poor Harry! Ouch! What a wonderful web you are weaving. :D
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I am so horrible to the poor characters. Although Harry deserved it.Thank you!
Ooh, Voldyass! No, don't kill the Men off, kill the witches! Idiot!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Voldy certainly knows where to strike where it'll hurt!
Wow, Severus really does love her to do that, not just to make her less uncomfortable but to enjoy it too.Hermione is still recovering but is a sensible and passionate young woman - I'm wondering how long it will take her to realise, then persuade Severus, that Luscius needs to feel a loving embrace once in a while I like that Lucius has nascent feelings for her, and not just a healthy respect for her temper. I can see a few more tears before bedtime coming.Thank you for making this so wonderfully readable, and I shall be waiting on the edge of my seat for the next instalment.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
He really does. Smitten.Hmm, I wonder... Severus is pretty stubborn. We shall see.Definitely a few more tears!Thank you for reviewing! Next chapter coming soon.
ok why the tears i am curious to know but as usual another greta chapter thank you
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
You'll see... the next chapter will be posted soon.Thank you!
wow someones pride is damaged as well as the door, can't wait for the next chapter to see how Hermione and Severus are doing after the... event.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Poor Lucius. His pride and his door.Thank you! Next chapter is coming soon.
This was exellently done! Severus jelousy, Hermione freezing up, Lucius having to use a lust potion, and then, what at least shocked the men the most; they enjoyed it! I wouldn't be surpriced if some of Hermiones tears are due to her feeling ashamed over enjoying two lovers at the same time. You portraited the conflicted emotions perfectly and at the same time one can see that with time, when their relationship has matured and they are more comfortable with each other, having two husbands or sharing a wife aint all that bad, especially not when the people involved are Hermione, Severus and Lucius!I look forward for the next update!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you very much! This was a difficult chapter to write. I'm very relieved that it works.Next chapter coming soon!
Bringing Severus in was a good idea. Hermione certainly seems to be a mess. However, so is Lucius. Poor clueless Harry.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! All three of them are pretty mess-like, some more so than others admittedly.Oh yes, Harry is clueless. Hopefully he'll have learnt his lesson.
So very well done. I love how you've given them time to handle their issues while sowing the seeds for the future.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I did my best, I'm very glad it worked.
Uhoh, that was hurtful for everybody. You have shown Severus' inner struggle wonderfully. I am curious how he and Hermione will deal handle this experience. And I have still no idea what kind of part Lucius will decide to play in all of this....Oh, and I hope we get a glimpse into Hermione's lost memory soon ... ;o)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Painful, yes. Very sorry situation for them all. We shall see...We'll see if you're in luck. Next chapter coming soon.
I love the way that Luci had to go get Severus to get Hermione to calm down. It just seems so much more realistic that she would not, could not adjust to having sex with this other man when she loves Sev. Then I wonder if the tears were because she was grateful it was finally over or because she's mortified her body reacted to Luci's. [Especially while Severus was there. But they all had a bit of that going on.]
On one hand it would be interesting to see how they work their way around to having a pleasant, consensual, three-way relationship together, but it would also be very interesting if Severus and Hermione are glad to be done with Lucius, but he plays the bastard by demanding husband's rights again when they don't want him to. A little angst never hurt anyone;)
The idea of two men agreeing to share one woman in marriage has to lead to jealousies and disagreements. How could they get along … especially when it’s all so forced as it is under the Marriage Law as written in this story? Sharing fun sex maybe, but not love sex.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! Difficult to write, but I can't imagine doing it any other way.I haven't decided exactly how their relationship(s) will work out now. You make some interesting points, it would be interesting either way...Oh yes, absolutely. We shall see!
Oh my. That was sexy and painful both. I hurt for all three of them. And can't wait to see what happens next.I can't imagine how difficult it was for Lucius, first having to get Severus in there and then having her cry.Oh my.Wonderful chapter.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you very much!Poor Lucius. I am so very mean to him. So very mean to them all...Next chapter coming soon.
I find myself intrigued with where you're taking this. When I saw the setup, I assumed that this would be your regular steamy threesome smut fest, but that it definitely is not. It's very interesting. Looking forward to more.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I'm glad you're finding this intriguing. More coming soon.
