Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

I predict a move from Malfoy Manor in the future for Hermione and Severus. They should take Fawkes with them, just in case. To think she only wanted the best for house-elves. I guess there's a bad apple in every bunch. Great chapter.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Malfoy Manor certainly can't be as welcoming after Tricksy's antics... but for them to move, they'd have to take Lucius with them while the law stands, unfortunately!Fawkes is definitely a good creature to keep around... and as it's Severus he's bonded to now, he'd go with them.A very bad apple! Thank you for reviewing.
Awesome!!!!! whooo hoo!!!He loves her! 'Bout bloody time! And no major cliffie this time. Well done!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you!It was certainly about time!I do find cliffies so hard to resist. I think Chapter 24 might have the evillest one in this story. Maybe.
A big kiss and hug for Dilly! I'm glad Lucius had nothing to do with Tricksy's actions, but he knew of Tricksy's bad attitude to 'Mudblood' Hermione. Also, I cannot tell if Lucius will give up his... ahem... Pensieve memories of Severus and Hermione's private moments. If he assigns another house-elf to gather more memories, he's a dead man! Thank you for the new chapter and for not leaving us on a cliffhanger again.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Dilly certainly deserves them!Lucius was innocent, yes... or at least as innocent as he ever gets.Thank you for reviewing! Cliffies are difficult to resist sometimes...
Great chapter -- I was surprised how fast it came -- wow!I never liked that Tricksey! Glad Dilly is there for Hermione and Sev.... That was a very devious and intense plot. Looking forward to more!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I'm glad I could post this chapter quickly.Delighted to hear it! I'll do my best to keep it that way. More coming soon.
Absolutely wicked pair of chapters. really looking forward to seeing where you take this - love to know more about the secondary pairings too, like Ginny/Harry/Draco. Keep up the good work!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you very much! I'll do my best with the rest of the story. The focus is definitely on SSHGLM, although there might be a glimpse of the Potter-Weasley-Malfoy household in the not too distant future.
I KNEW Severus would save her!!! I'm sorry to feel a little sorry for Lucius. Will he find any happiness in the marriage? And I hope they find a cure for Hermione. Wouldn't mind reading about a little Snape (or even a Malfoy) in the future :-)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Just as well he could save her!Lucius might find happiness eventually. As for Hermione... we shall see. Thanks for reviewing!
What a terrible scare. When house elves go bad! I didnt think they were capable of such autonomy. Thank goodness for Dilly. Will Hermione's near death experience have an affect on her sterility? Or am I grasping at straws?thank you for such a speedy update!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Very scary, especially for Severus. Kreacher did indirectly cause Sirius's death, so it does seem to be canon that they can do such things... thank goodness there are decent elves!Probably grasping at straws, although with good reason - she did have a dose of phoenix tears, after all! You're welcome! I'm glad I could oblige.
Thank you for updating quickly. I have been on pins and needles waiting for the outcome. I had a feeling that once Severus Apparated to Spinner's End he would notice the time and realized he had been tricked.Good thing Dilly has scruples!Three Cheers for Fawkes!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
You're welcome! Glad I could update quickly for once!Very good thing that at least one of the Malfoy elves has scruples...Thanks for reviewing!
OH MAN! WHEW!Excellent pair of chaps, but please don't ever do that again.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you!Erm, well... that might be the most evil cliffie in this story. Maybe. I do try to get the next chapter up fairly soon after really evil ones...
Yeah! Fawkes saved the - well, Severus and Fawkes saved the day. I'm so gold that you made Lucius innocent in all this. I'm surprised that Severus didn't recognize a Basklisk tooth!I like Dilly, but why is he loyal to Hermione over Lucius? How are you ever going to get Severus and Lucius into a love-share-thee-way?Enough questions.... update please.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Very fortunate that Severus has a pet phoenix! If Lucius had been the culprit, that would have been the end for him. He's got other things to do yet!I suspect Severus did recognise the tooth once he'd pulled it out of Tricksy, as he did register that neither bezoar nor antidote would have worked against it... but then again, he's probably never seen a Basilisk up close and personal like Hermione has!Good question. Perhaps house-elves can choose their loyalties between their Master and Mistress according to their own whim, as Kreacher did choose to obey Narcissa over Sirius. Very intriguing, though! As for a threesome... eventually, perhaps, depending on what else the plot bunny throws in the way. Thanks for reviewing!
I'm pleased Lucius was not behind it all. :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
He was innocent for once! Thanks for reviewing.
That was amazingly intense! Brilliant!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you very much! I did my best with it.
ooo she's safe! ~calls back the gremlin sent for sev and assigns her to tend to the couple, but keeps the other on lookout duty on lucius and anything else suspicious~
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Safe from evil house elves, yes! I'm sure Dilly will perform the duties of those gremlins within the story, too.
Well, that was shocking. I think you are the first author to have a house elf act this way.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I'm sure there are other evil house elves out there, although I can't actually think of one quite like Tricksy... even Kreacher didn't directly kill Sirius.
There we go the stress has been reduced!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
For now...Ahem, I mean, yes! Fortunately for all of them it has. Thanks for reviewing!
Ohhh, that was much better. Glad to see Severus was on the same page as the rest of us concerning Lucius. Thank goodness for Fawkes. ~and authors who update quickly~ I'm so relieved everything worked out okay, lol. Can't wait to see what happens next.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Glad to hear it! I do try not be too cruel if I can help it! Next chapter coming soon.
I'm glad Dilly was there to save the day. And Severus too of course.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Just as well for Hermione that they did save the day! Thanks for reviewing.
Well, I don't know if this is Lucius turning over a new leaf or just realizing he's in a serious amount of danger from Severus.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Maybe a bit of both, knowing Lucius! Thanks for reviewing.
I'm glad that the treacherous Tricksy is dead, hopefully there was a house elf version of hell waiting for her evil little self. Maybe Dilly should be given to Hermione now, as that one seems quite protective of her. I'm relieved to hear that Lucius wasn't behind all this, even though his games are what set the near-disaster in motion. And it sounds like Severus may have well learned his lesson with regard to sticking around to hear the whole story rather than jumping to erroneous conclusions and storming off. Most of all, thank Merlin for Fawkes!!!
(Not to mention prompt updates by blessedly merciful authors!!!)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Hopefully Tricksy will get her comeuppance, presuming killing herself with the Basilisk fang doesn't cover it!I think Dilly's more or less decided to serve Hermione whether he's given to her or not!I'd say Severus has learned that lesson. Just as well he has Fawkes, yes!(You're welcome - I do try to be relatively merciful to my readers if I can be!)
well, thank god! loved the idea of the basalisk fang and hermione's comment about kissing ron... brilliant. also, i must say that as much as lucius is irritating me at the moment, i'm glad that he wasn't behind it. thanks for an exciting chapter... looking forward to the next!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I just couldn't resist the idea of that kiss having lethal effects. Glad you liked it! Next chapter coming soon.
Great chapter!!! I'm glad you saved her so fast! Now, what else is fate going to thrw at them?
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I didn't want to leave them (and you) hanging if I could possibly help it.There's always more problems to throw at them...
Wow posted before tomorrow.Oh your my hero...Glad to know Luc wasn't involved.See what happens when one has a nutty house elf.I'll have to make sure to thank my house elves when they help with the laundry.(Shh don't tell anyone but my kids pretend they are house elves).lol
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I do try to please! There's always a bad nut in the bunch... hopefully there's only one nutty elf.Heh! That must be helpful...Thanks for reviewing!
1,000,000,000 points to your house for not keeping your readers in suspense. Evil Tricksy... glad to see the end of her. Perhaps this whole event will give them the opportunity to start anew.*finally releases breath*
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I do try not to be too cruel to my poor readers if I can possibly help it. Hopefully they'll grasp that opportunity while it's there...
