Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.
Reviews for Polyandry and Other Problems
Oh yikes, Having the plaue back is horrible. Poor, Ginny - all of them. On the lighter side, I liked the boys thinking they had to mother Ginny. Clueless as ever when it comes to female stuff.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Very much so. Poor witches!Glad you liked the cluelessness of the boys, I hoped it would be a lighter moment. Thanks for reviewing.
Slughorn's such an ass. You did a great job with that chapter. I'm sorry for your loss.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
That he is. Thank you, glad you thought so, and thank you again for your sympathy.
I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother, but thankful that you had her for so many years. Thanks for the new chapter! Good to see Hermione on the warpath and with an excellent lead. Damn that Horace! BTW, as mad as I get at Lucius with his "monitoring" of Severus and Hermione's bedroom activities, you still made me feel sorry for him here -- when he had trouble casting a Patronus and got weepy over the picture of pregnant Narcissa. Thanks again for updating!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you. There is that... I just wish dementia hadn't made it so that she was sort of gone for a few years before she died.Glad you like Hermione on the warpath, and that I managed to make you feel sorry for Lucius despite his voyeuristic tendencies.More coming soon!
This is becoming really tragic. I do hope that they will find a way to cure definitively every women. And I hope the Ministry won't play the fool and ask them to get pregnant again before it's done.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Very much so... hopefully they will find a permanent cure, and that the Ministry/Wizengamot will behave themselves.
Good God, poor Severus... just leave it to the Prophet's ish-stirring ways to incite the public to attack the one man capable of saving so many lives, all so they can sell more of their useless rag.
*Shakes head in disgust*
PS: I'm so sorry to hear of your recent loss. God bless you and yours.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Poor Severus indeed! Hopefully the Prophet will be made to see sense and stop stirring up more trouble...Thank you very much.
I'm so sorry for your loss, and good luck in school. You have a hard row ahead of you so make sure you take care of yourself.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you, I appreciate it very much. I'll do my best to take care of myself and to keep updates coming - next one coming soon.
The description of Horace was wonderful! :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you, I did my best with him!
*hugs you*Thank you for updating despite all of the RL hurdles. You really are making this suspenseful. Every society needs a scapegoat and poor Severus seems to be the IT man. The dunderheads at the Prophet seem to have forgotten thtat if Severus is eliminated, there won't be anyone to find a permanent cure. Then, you've got Hermione headed to the MoM when there is possibly a mob on the way. Yikes.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
*hugs back*Thank you, I'll do my best to keep the updates coming (speaking of which, the next one is coming soon).I'm glad you're finding this suspenseful! Hopefully for Severus's sake some people will see sense.Yikes indeed!
I'm so sorry about your loss. It gets better with time. I wish you all the best with your college classes. My daughter is in college, too. Thanks for an interesting tale. I'll be patiently waiting.Goodness, your Slughorn is a bit sleezy. (no surprize there) I am glad Pomona has a nice husband as well!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you, I hope it will get better over time. Hope your daughter's college classes go well, too.Next chapter will be posted soon, hope you like it.Good for Pomona that she has Flitwick, yes.
Nice to give us a lighter note, just at the end, after all the death and destruction. A very good chapter. I was wondering if they could rebuild Wizarding society with muggle wives, but that idea is obviously not going to fly. Normally I don't lke Lucius tales, but this one is holding my interest, even after the challenge is over.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you, I hoped it would work to lighten things a bit.If only they could... well, they could literally build up a wizarding society made only of wizards and Muggle wives, but... not exactly a solution for Hermione and the other witches.I'm glad this story is still holding your interest, despite Lucius.
My condolences on the loss of your grandfather. No matter what the circumstances, the loss always leaves a hole that's hard to fill.Great Chapter. Glad to see Hermione has enough strength to go after Slughorn. But so much danger lies ahead for all involved. Things are really heating up. I anxiously await your next installment.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you. A loss is always a loss, yes.Glad you liked the chapter, and the way things are heating up. Next update will be posted soon.
lol peacock patronus ~snickers and eats her chocolate and hugs poor draco~ ya know, if you can't have kids....have dogs!....or werewolves! what could be more fun than adopting a werewolf kid and cuddling a cute little fuzzy chap like Wolfie from 10th kingdom!rawr!great chapter as usual darlin!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! Glad you found the peacock patronus funny. Draco adopting a werewolf!kid... I suspect his experiences with Greyback might make him a little reluctant there...
I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother. *hugs*Keep up the good work. I'll be looking forward to the next chapter regardless of when it comes.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you. *hugs back*I'll do my best to keep it coming - next chapter will be posted soon.
I just started reading this fic and I am glad to hear you haven't abandoned it. I am really getting into the story and look forward to seeing what will happen next. Keep plugging away, it will be great, I can tell!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I hope you enjoy the rest of the story, although updates may be a little slow during university term time. I hope to have chapter 15 up within a week. Thanks for reviewing!

I've been avoiding your story for awhile now, but I am glad that I gave it a try. Severus was a bit more OOC than I usually prefer him, and I do wish that you had expanded upon how their friendship came to be. I really enjoyed your characterization of Lucius and your epilogue. You are a talented writer.
Oops. A bit of humour to lighten the tension. :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks! Glad the touch of humour worked!
Oh, my god! How did I not see this was up already! Now I'm up to date, with an evil cliffie!! I don't know which was worse: not knowing you had updated, or reading a cliffie!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Glad you found this! Sorry about the cliffie... Next chapter coming soon!
My jaw just dropped after reading this chapter. I'm not usually a fan of the Malfoy's, but this story has me sympathizing and almost pitying Lucius. I believe Snape and Hermione are perfect for each other, but I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more Lucius/Hermione action in upcoming chapters. I really liked their scene in chapter (10?). Time to read on...
I need the next chapter!!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Next chapter coming soon! Thanks for reviewing.
This is one of my top picks. Thanks for writing it. It makes a good reread.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you very much! I'm glad to hear that it stands up to rereading.
Response from coopershawk (Reviewer)
When I said reread, I meant over and over again. I usually check for updates every day, not that I'm expecting one. I just live in a fantasy world where all the stories I like are updated three or four times a day.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Wow, I'm delighted you like this story that much!I wish I could update that quickly. Hopefully the next chapter will be up before Christmas...

Ruh roh, raggy...
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Indeed!Thanks for reviewing.
OMG! How am I going to survive until next chapter? The suspense will kill me. As for Lucius even if Sev notices something I'm sure he'll be forgiven if-when-Hermione wakes up.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I hope you've managed to survive! Next chapter coming soon. Lucius must be hoping so! Thanks for reviewing!
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
I've barely managed to survive all this time. I'm nearly drawing out my last breath *cough, cough* I hope it won't take too long for your chapter to get validated *deathly sigh* Please help *wink*
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Heh! Not long, no, as the mods were kind enough to make me a validated author, so it'll be up as soon as I upload it in a couple of minutes.
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
I'm already breathing better. Thank you so much! *grin*
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Glad to hear it! You're welcome.
ARRGGHHH!!!!! What an evil cliff hanger!!!! How long do we have to wait for the answer????????by the way.... awesome
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Sorry! I just couldn't resist it! Not long to wait now...Thank you!
Muahaha!!! Lucius is going to get a slamdown when Severus finds those memories, although I suspect Severus will delay the slamdown until he looks at Hermione's memory of what Cissa told her. I do wonder how you're going to resolve things for Lucius rather than let him mope the rest of his life, not-quite-husband to Hermione but not alone either. Poor Cissa; doesn't sound peaceful for her. Thanks for updating!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Indeed he will! If Severus does notice, you're quite right that he'd delay it.Hopefully Lucius can have something other than moping about for the rest of his life, although if Severus does see that shelf, the rest of his life might not be for long!Poor Cissa indeed. Thanks for reviewing!
