Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

Oooh, how interesting! Challenged to more duels if they don't get to the consummatin'! Altho let me say, that part about everyone knowing if you were a virgin or not... grrrr! I would be mighty PO'd about that.
Great chapter! And I do love my smut, particularly mutual masturbation, so.... most excellent, darling.
Author's Response: Thank you!
Oh, yes, that intimate detail being made public would make me just as furious as Hermione.
Glad you think so!
omg what a twisted little mind you have i love it wonderful chapter dear thank you
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks, I think!Hope you enjoy the next chapter, shouldn't be as long a wait as there was for this one.
Easily solved. Just shoot the owl.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
That would be one solution... if a cruel one for the poor, innocent owl! But then the challengers would come in person. They might get into trouble for killing them.
I love that Lucious calls Hermione's mom a harridan. Uh-oh that owl better not be from Ron! I love this story & it seems im now reading it on THREE sites. Update soon!!! =)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks! Lucius better be careful that he doesn't slip and call her a harridan in Hermione's hearing.I wonder who that owl could be from...That's 3/4 sites that I post to. Impressive. There shouldn't be as long a wait for chapter 9 as there was for this.
Finally there was a sharp knock at the door, as if a certain someone had rapped his poncy snake-headed cane against it.I loved this line! I can only wonder who Draco can marry. if it is Ginny, will he have to share her with Harry? What a cosy household that would be!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I'm glad you did.Heh! A very cosy household.
viewing the wedding from Lucius' point was much fun!Could it be that he discovers some feelings at last? well well.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I hoped it would be.Jealousy is certainly on the right track, even if he doesn't know why he is yet.
A bit of jealousy in a menage a trois. Mmmm. That will be too good.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
It should certainly shake things up a bit. Thank you!
Methinks Severus is going to have a hard time sharing Hermione with her other husband when the time comes. I tend to agree with Hermione that the Ministry will be all over them if no babies are produced. Lovely!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Yes, I don't think Severus shares easily.Thank you!
Nope, I don't think Severus will be too willing to share, especially that Lucius promised his would be a marriage in name only!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Severus and sharing do not really go together, no...
I can see Hermione coming from two very intimidating people. Poor Lucius. I dont think he was really expecting that from Muggles!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Poor, poor Lucius! No, he was not expecting that. Thanks for reviewing!
ahh it starts-- the jealousy, the sharing, ohh the humanity.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Oh yes... Poor Lucius. Poor Severus. Poor Hermione. Thanks for reviewing!
Well she married Severus but the wedding did not sound that great. Lucius jealous - it would do him some good. LOL
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
The dangers of leaving the planning of a wedding to vengeful parents...Ah, but is Lucius jealous a good thing for other people?
Oh no... I hope Lucius is simply jealous that Severus and Hermioen will be happy together while he will always be missing Narcissa. I hope he doesn't try to worm his way into their relationship. And it might be helpful to break up that link you post- it blows the margins so one must either scroll at the end of every line or shrink the text.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
We shall see! I suspect that Lucius himself isn't sure exactly why he's jealous.Oops. Thanks for letting me know about the link. I did check it, but it looked fine on my screen... but I do have it set to 1280x860. D'oh! Hope it looks better now, with any luck without the horizontal scrollbar of doom.
Response from CharmedForce (Reviewer)
Mine is set to 1024 x 768, and it was just a bit too small for that link. I hate scrollbars. XD Thank you so much for repairing it!

This chapter had so many fun parts! 'Lucius Granger' perhaps being my favorite. Of course the roof landing. And there was quite a bit of Lucius in this chapter, and it was interesting, especially at the wedding, to see his feelings all muddled. Thinking about Narcissa, for example, and that bit at the end... Jealousy? Hmm.
Well, I'm sure you know we can't wait for the wedding night!
Author's Response: Thank you! I hoped it would be fun.
I do indeed. But you'll still have to wait a chapter or two...
You know, you can really feel for Lucius in this chapter. But IF Lucius must consummate his relationship with Hermione for the Ministry to consider it legal, Severus is going to have to swallow his pride. All in all, apart from Lucius being an egotistical and cavalier prat, he is at least trying to do right by Snape, and by extension, Hermione. And people get married for stupider reasons every day of the week.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I hoped that would be the case with poor Lucius. Yes, Severus will need to put his pride aside.Oh yes! Despite being an 'egotistical and cavalier prat' (I love that description), Lucius is trying to be decent.
Wow, that wedding came quite soon, I hadn't thought it would, but liked it very much nonetheless!! Can't wait for the wizarding one and the wedding night!!!Great work!gab
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks, glad you liked it! The wizarding one will be in the next chapter, although you'll have to wait a bit longer for the wedding night.
Poor Lucius, luckily Hermione has a big heart, Severus on the other hand...Thanks for the update.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
It certainly won't be easy for them to share...Thanks for reviewing!
Now things should get really interesting.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I hope they will! Thanks for reviewing.
Ooh! Last line just made this way more interesting :-)Good chapter.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I hoped it would!Thank you.
Why not send a Patronus?
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Good question. It's been a while since I wrote that chapter, so I only have a vague idea of my reasons at the time...Firstly, it might not have crossed his mind. While he's capable of casting a Patronus (and presumably sending messages, it didn't speak in DH), it is a rare method of communication. He'd also need a happy memory. Difficult when he's currently rather worried about Hermione.
Hermione landing on the roof was brilliant! And I loved the clashes of all three sets of expectations about the terms of their marriage. Interesting that Lucius is beginning to have bits of jealousy. I look forward to seeing what the wizarding ceremony turns out to be like and how they get on once they start their lives together!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! It was a brilliant idea. It would never have occurred to me if Septentrion hadn't asked. The wizarding ceremony will be in the next chapter, currently being betaed.Their lives together should certainly be... interesting.
Another lovely chapter. Poor Lucius! He misses Narcissa so. As always with any of your stories, I'm looking forward to more!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you!Poor Lucius indeed.I'm very glad to hear it! I hope you enjoy the rest of this story as much as my others.
I kept my name when I married, and I kept the Miss, too. It's more fun. After all, men keep 'Mr.' when they wed. Our child, though, bears my husband's last name. I wanted to have any children take my name, but my husband said the neighbors would think we weren't married. Well, their marriege was even smaller than mine, (We had one more person present.) But the crowd and the fripperies aren't what counts. Thanks for another chapter!I understand that in the Muslim religion, if a man takes more than one wife he is required to give each wife a separate but equal house and equal everything: equal money, equally valuable car, jewelry, & other possessions. Has the Ministry considered separate houses for each husband? LOL At least keeping one home will save money, (nlike he Malfoys, most families need to consider that. ) But it will encourage fighting.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Presuming that there will be children in this polygamous union, there's quite a few options for surnames... Poor things.Heh! Good point about the separate houses. I suspect the Ministry is too stingy, though!Oh yes, cohabitation will encourage fighting. And other things...
Very good chapter, but the formatting is messed up. I don't know if it is a TPP error, yours, or if my computer didn't download the chapter correctly.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! Sorry about the formatting, I didn't take into account smaller resolution sizes. It should be fixed now.

Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! Sorry about the formatting, it should be sorted out now. One of the links in the AN apparently made it so that anyone viewing the chapter with less than 1280 x 860 had to scroll along horizontally.
