Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

Doesn't sound as if Kingsley is having any fun except for the Fudge walking. LOL, Umbridge and Fudge deserve each other. Wonder who their third is? Yes, I agree Hermione should be part of the Wizengamot, maybe Kingsley should work on that.

Indeed they do! Good question, I haven't decided yet who the poor third member of that union will be.Give her a few more years under her belt and I'm sure she'll get a seat.
Heehee, I love a furious Hermione--I don't think anyone stands a chance against her! And I love that Fudge had to marry Umbridge, the toad! Great chapter

Hermione should come with a warning "Volatile When Forced to Deal with Those of Sub-Human Intelligence". I am sure Severus will have his own methods of retaliation once he is released.Obviously they did not get through this unscaved, but the show was great!

WOOOO! GO HERMIONE!So she and the boys can't have kids, big whoop. you know what she can have? Cats! Kneazels! She can raise furry dragons! ( i hear those are useful, rather like giant mastiffs!)Also, despite the law, she can adopt in the future. There's lots of loverly kids who would love to have Mione as a mama some day.Dunno about having Sev and Luci as dads though...might be awkward...OH! Can i have lucius? i need him for an experiment involving jack sparrow...and Jareth (aka goblin king, etc etc and so forth)

Thank you!Indeed. And now that the Ministry will be off their backs, she can worry about kids when the biological clock is actually ticking.That's rather up to Lucius! He certainly doesn't follow my orders, the stubborn thing.

At least he's not Minister anymore... I'd hope that Umbridge is post-menopausal. Scary thought!
It would be just like the Ministry to find some reason to screw all of this up.I hope they make it past this check point unscathed.

Heh! In my defence, the wait was due to interfering busy real life. I hope you'll be pleased to hear that there won't be as long a wait for the next chapter - I'll post it when I've answered all reviews for this chapter. Within the hour.
uh-oh..... scary! btw, shouldn't Lucius get the recipe for the un-sterility potion, in case something happens to Severus? I hope all is well with Draco; I am guessing that Ginny and Harry aren't fond of Lucius for the diary-Horcrux, and that is affecting Draco's negotiations. thanks for the new chapter!

Aside from the transfered anxiety, I was amused by the line, Give the man an Order of Merlin, he finally catches the snitch, ~drama king indeed~
