Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.
Reviews for Polyandry and Other Problems
Wow, this is a very good beginning and I love the little bits about the disease, the law and the male reactions. Lucius' was hilarious! What a schemer.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I'm delighted to hear it. I hope you enjoy the rest of the story.
Holy Moly, you just don't piss Hermione off if your smart.Poor Lucius. I wonder if Sev will listen to her. Can't wait for the next chappy.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Indeed you don't! Hopefully Severus will...Next chapter coming soon! Thanks for reviewing!
Lucius what an arse! Granted he had to 'preform' but really. To think he had to drag Severus into the middle, just to 'do the deed' was bad enough. Poor girl. He doesn't even take her feelings into account in all this.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
It could have been worse... bringing Severus in was better than the alternative of drugging her, as the problem was that she was too tense. Thanks for reviewing!
Good to see that idiocy in males isn't just a muggle genetic disorder.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Unfortunately not! It must be a male thing... or perhaps just a human thing. Thanks for reviewing!
Go Hermione! Stupid Lucius. And poor Severus. Can he really believe Hermione would betray him. Sigh. Lovely chapter. I enjoyed the voyeurism a lot. : )
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Severus is probably too angry to think straight...Glad you enjoyed the chapter! Thanks for reviewing!
I do feel for Lucius. He should not be expected to go through the rest of his married life celibate.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
What can I say? It's his choice, he agreed to it... and I wouldn't say he's exactly celibate in the sense of abstaining from all sexual activity. At present, it's a marriage of convenience between Lucius and Hermione. Not a love match. Thanks for reviewing.
Good for Harry and Draco for getting along. I'm not a HP/DM shipper myself, but the idea does have its appeal. ;) I hope that Draco and Lucius can come to some sort of reconciliation. Great chapter and looking forward to your next update!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I'm not one either, but I'm glad the idea does have appeal.Hopefully they will eventually...Thank you! Next chapter coming as soon as my beta is finished with it.
It's interesting to see how the society is changing. Hermione will have her hands full.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! That she does or will have.
Lucius appears to be a good sport. Is it for real?
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
The next chapter will answer that far better than I can. It'll be posted as soon as my beta finishes with it.
My heart absolutely aches for Hermione. Nightmares, long lost memories, barrenness... *sniffs*
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I'm certainly not making it easy for her, poor thing.Thank you, it's good to hear that this is touching you.
Draco is growing on Harry, let's hope Lucius is growing on his spouses. :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I'm sure Lucius is trying to grow on Hermione, but I think he's neglecting to do the same with Severus. Thanks for reviewing.
I usually dont read unfinished stories, but started this one by accident. Now I am wondering .... i(and no I'm not Trelawney) ... i can see an ending where it turns out that Tricksy has given Hermione a potion or something similar using elf magic which wouldnt show ... to make her appear sterile.in the elf's mind, this would make Lucuis send her away, and things can be 'normal' for the elf, who hates mudbloods.Just a thought.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
That's certainly an interesting theory, and definitely something that up-to-no-good elf might try. In this case Tricksy is innocent, as Hermione's mother has the same problems. Thanks for reviewing! I'm aiming to finish this story over the summer, plot bunny willing. I hope you enjoy the rest of it.
Will we see a glimpse of Harry's, Ginny's and Draco's life as a trio? I hope for the last one to make peace with his father one day. I could sense that Lucius was really hurt when he received his son's wedding invitation.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Probably not, as the focus of this story is on Severus, Hermione and Lucius.Hopefully Draco will forgive his father one day...Thanks for reviewing.
wow. well, I'm relieved that Lucius was at least invited to the wedding. perhaps if Lucius and Draco get along better, Lucius won't make as much trouble between Severus and Hermione? hmm... I hope Hermione's memories are recoverable; they need some good news for a change. thank you for the new chapter!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! That's probably too much to hope for with Lucius, although it might mean he has less time to make the trouble!Good news would make a nice change for them... but since when have I been nice?
~pokes a little lucius voodoo doll~ i know he plays a pivotal role...but...are you suuuuure i can't knock him about a little? hit him up for drug money? dye his hair day glo orange? teach all the dogs in england to bite him whenever he gets too close?please? only on each 13 (and 23rd) of the month? please! i'll be good! i'll mind all my peas and cues! i'll eat all my vegetables! i'll make you cookies! ~grins at lucius~ HAH! you don't even know how to bake so NYEH! ~sticks tongue out at him and wins while he's pouting in the corner~
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Well, I've finished with him for now as Chapter 23 is being betaed... and he'll only have a small role in Chapter 24. So nothing permanent, okay? Thanks for reviewing.
Thanks for the update -- good chapter! I am curious also about Sev and Lucious's seeming truce... Maybe I will review previous chapters -- I may just be forgetting.I think Sev was faking sleep - I am surprised he doesn't feel brave enough yet to admit his feelings.Looking forward to more!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you!Yes, rereading Chapters 19 and 20 might help satisfy that curiosity.Maybe he was... only Severus knows for sure.More coming as soon as my beta has finished with it.
Your jealous!Severus is priceless. I'm eagerly awaiting more sparks flying on that front. :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! Glad you think so, he's quite fun to write, too. Hopefully you'll get some more of those sparks within a couple of chapters.
Poor Severus, he really doesn't want to share. Hermione might not have any idea that she's encouraging Lucius, especially since she's hung out with guys for most of her childhood. Being friendly would only be natural.Great chapter! Looking forward to seeing where this goes. :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Indeed he does not. It's quite possible that's the case with Hermione, not that Lucius needs any encouragement!Thank you! Delighted to hear it.
Snape's control might have snapped if Ron had made an appearance. Of course, that might have helped release some steam.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
It certainly wouldn't have helped matter if Ron had popped in. Then again, if you put it like that, maybe it would have...Thanks for reviewing!
I have to say, as much as it pains me to see Severus miserable, his jealousy is damned sexy. Keep up the good work!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks, glad you think so. Next chapter is being betaed.
Yay! An update! Thank you so much for continuing with this wonderful tale. I loved how you described Severus dealing with his jealousy issues and I also appreciated Ginny's thoughts at the end of the chapter. I would totally be thinking the same exact things! Thank you again for the wonderful update! Much Love ~ Brena
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I fully intend to finish this, even if it might take longer than this summer to do so.Delighted you liked those aspects of the chapter, and hope you enjoy the next chapter (which is currently with my betas) just as much!
poor green eyed severus and dumb ron! wonderful update. thanks so much
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks for reviewing! Glad you enjoyed it!
Caught between a rock and a hard place! :)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
That's one way to put it!Thanks for reviewing!
Nice chapter, Ginny is a good friend.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! That she is.
Glad Ginny could stop Ron.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Just as well for Ron that she did...Thanks for reviewing!
