Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.

Aaargh! What has happened? Please don't leave me in suspense any longer than necessary! This is a wonderful take on the Marriage law. Thank you.

So who's the dad? Or daddies? Twins with two different fathers would solve a lot of problems-- create a whole bunch too. What a mess, but delivered in such a good chapter.

That's an interesting idea. Thanks! Hope you enjoyed chapter 16 too.

Oy boy! Three is definitely a crowd when it comes to them.

Despite the need, I am not liking these enforced threesomes one bit. Hopefully between the three of them, Hermione, Severus and Lucius can find ways to sidestep this stupid marriage law.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
They'll certainly do their best to fight it!

Oh my! Pregnant already? Despite the potion? Yikes! Uh oh.....

I'm hoping that the father-son rift can be healed eventually. Too bad phoenix tears only affect physical wounds. But Hermione was thinking of her other husband when she tried to have Draco stay for lunch. Lovely wedding gift from S&H to Lucius. But it's also a wrenching reminder of his loss. *sigh*

So, a blond or a brunett?

All (or some things at least) has been revealed in chapter 16, as you might already know.

One can hope that Severus and Crookshanks can learn to play 'nice' for the sake of the woman they adore. And it is splendid & spiffy to see Fawkes again. Awesome bird. Lucius is trying his best to be civil and humane. Hopefully someday Hermione can let down her guard around her other husband (and not want to flinch or run everytime he approaches).
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Hopefully they will. Thanks, I couldn't resist including Fawkes.Hermione just needs a little time, I think.

Yes, I also applaud you for 'keeping it real' in that whole, fraught and distressing consummation. It would have ah, cheapened both Lucius and Hermione if she had enjoyed their encounter. I really feel sorry for him, though, since he's still grieving for Narcissa and is now trapped in a sham 'marriage.'
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I hoped it would be realistic. Lucius is not in the best of situations, but I'm sure he'll find a way to improve it.

Tricksy's loyalty to her Master is commendable, but her apparent loathing of her new "Missy MB" is not auspicious. What's with all their anger directed at the poor owls? They're not responsible for the content of the messages they carry.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Tricksy is certainly up to no good.Bad news does tend to lead to shooting the messenger... but I hope no owls will be harmed in the course of this story.

Lurvin' the image of Severus in silk pyjama bottoms *yum*. I'm no Lucius fan either, but you've made him more sympathetic. I really do feel for him in regards to Narcissa's death.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks! Severus does seem to go quite well with silk pyjama bottoms... and glad I've made Lucius more sympathetic. I've tried my best to make him human.

I'm glad to see you back. What a bombshell chapter. I can't wait to see what the deal is with the baby, why the healer had to check references and who the father is. I hope it's not Malfoy, the snake. It was really to much to hope he was going to stick to his word. Bummer.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I hope chapter 16 answered some of your questions. Lucius is definitely a snake. I'm sure Severus would agree with you there. Thanks for reviewing.

drat!! no more chapter to read!!well, I'm not liking this sneaky Lucius, behaving this way after everything he agreed on with Severus and Hermione. I sympathize with the Healer, who is doing her best under the circumstances. as for the baby, if it is Lucius' daughter, that means no more 'conjugal rights' for him! (from what I read of the stipulations in the chapter, she must ban Severus from her bed for the first trimester, but she is not obligated to let Lucius in there!) but if it is Severus' daughter, that gives Hermione a year to figure out how to get around the law. unless Lucius... ahem... improves significantly.I'm looking forward to the next chapter, and hope you tell us how Draco is faring. thank you for updating!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Lucius is sneaky, but it's possible he'll improve. We shall see! There will be some more of Draco. Perhaps in chapter 18, I'm not entirely sure yet. Thanks for reviewing!

So Hermione's preggers?! Severus is the father, right. But Lucius' recent secretiveness or something scheming towards Hermione tells me something is afoot.. . . .?

The healer's response is classic. Someone is powerful if they were able to overcome that contraception draught. I look forward to seeing what exactly is afoot here.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks! I hope chapter 16 revealed some (but not all!) of what is afoot.

Thanks for the update. Because it has been so long I had to go back and reread the previous chapter. And then at the bottom I noticed that you had warned us you wouldn't be able to work on this story for awhile. I guess I missed that in the original reading and thought this story was lost. Happy to see you are back at it.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thanks for reviewing!Updates will be delayed due to busy real life. University essays unfortunately have to take priority! But I will keep writing. This story isn't lost!

poor hermione. i don't suppose it would be bad form to drop a ticking pipe bomb on the ministry? would it? i certainly would if I had to be in hermione's position... i don't react well to those types of things >.>
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Poor Hermione indeed! I wouldn't be surprised if she'd be tempted to do that sort of thing too, but unfortunately she wouldn't be able to do much from Azkaban. Thanks for reviewing!

Oh, no! Is she already pregnant or is it a multiple birth? Gosh, just how much will poor Hermione have thrown at her?
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Poor Hermione does seem to have a great big target painted on her. And I can't even promise a happy ending, because the plot bunny hasn't revealed that to me. (my preference is for a happy ending, but it's the plot bunny that's in charge!)Thanks for reviewing!

So happy to see an update!!!! I'm thinking Hermione is already pregnant and I have a feeling it might be Lucius's??? That would make things "awkward".Hope we have the answer SOON :-)

Well, that ending sounds ominous... Glad to see this story again! I've missed it. It'll be interesting to see what you have them do with the law. Looking forward to the next!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Definitely ominous!I wish I could update more regularly, unfortunately real life has been (and still is...) busy. But I'll keep chapters coming! Thanks for reviewing!

She is already pregnant ?!! I hope it will be a girl or she'll have to have two more children unless the law changes. And considering her current feelings towards children... I'm not saying she'll be a bad mother but I really do pity her. Having undesired babies and being obligated to keep them when you're not ready for it must be a terrible thing.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
It's certainly a terrible bit of lawmaking. Hopefully Hermione will eventually be able to change that. Thanks for reviewing!
