Jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon in 2000 (when Goblet of Fire was out in hardback). Prisoner of Azkaban is my favourite in the series, followed by Order of the Phoenix. I read and write in the SS/HG corner of the Potterverse.
Reviews for Polyandry and Other Problems
Good chapter. How sad it would be to wake up with some months of your life lost to you, and most of your female friends gone! So glad our Hermione has SS to comfort her. Poor Ron!Snape could have simply taken the potion and kept quiet about it, then the three-way marriage coud have been dissolved, and Severus and Hermione could have married each other monogamously, leaving Lucius to look for a new wife, since he obviously doesn't want one in name only anymore!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Quite! Good for Hermione that she has Severus. Hopefully Ron will find someone else. That he could have, except that the Ministry wouldn't leave them to monogamous bliss. Thanks for reviewing!
Response from pookah (Reviewer)
Ahh! I had forgotten that! marriages are forced, not only to produce more Wizarding children, but to ration the women amongst the men. The wonks at the Ministry would object to my term of rationing, but that's what it comes down to.Thanks again for a neat story!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Heh! It's certainly rationing in all but name. Thanks! Glad you're enjoying it.
Split ends! Love it! I Still fail to see the attractions some readers seem to feel for Malfoy (pere or fils)I can accept that they might grow up a bit, mature morally, but i can't imagine that anyone would actually find them attractive unless they turned completely around morally and actually became, not only good, but altruistic ... almost saintly, if you will. But that's just me, obviously. Some claim I have unrealistic standards of behaviour. (As long as my husband is cool with it, I don't worry)Thanks for this tale, even if LM/anyone is not usually to my taste.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I must admit that I only like Lucius when combined with Severus and Hermione. There's certainly a lot of room for improvement with Lucius!I'm glad you enjoying this despite Lucius's presence. Thanks for reviewing!
That's why I love Hermione, because I always see her as strong, smart, and up to a challenge. and Moral, highly moral. without the morality, the talents are worthless. (look at Umbridge)Yes, DO look at Umbridge! the match made in heaven? I wonder who they have managed to get as a third for that unholy union? I was laughing aloud at that.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
It's certainly part of the reason Hermione's my favourite character, too.Heh! I just couldn't resist pairing Umbridge up with Fudge. I don't think I've decided yet whom the unfortunate wizard is. Poor man! Thanks for reviewing!
Another great chap;ter! Poor Severus! I hope he doesn't "burst" from all that holding back.....Looking forward to more!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! Poor Severus indeed...More coming soon, it's with my betas.
Lucius is just awful....He needs to leave Hermione be....
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I'm sure Severus would agree with you! Thanks for reviewing.
Good thing Ginny went instead of Ron, can you say disaster. Malfoy is such a worm ~I can't stand him~ and it's high time for Hermione to wake up and see him for what he is. No, really, let me tell you how I really feel, lol. Wonderful chapter, I was glad to see an update. Thanks so much for updating.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Very good thing, at least for Ron!He's certainly up to no good...Hope you enjoy the next chapter, it should be posted within a few days as soon as my betas have finished with it.
What's great with you is that everytime your answer a review, I've noticed a new chapter is updated not very long after. Si this is double pleasure each time.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I'm glad you like that! I have a habit of answering reviews for the previous chapter when I've finished the next. Chapter 22 is currently being betaed, so should post within a few days.
oh dear...hey are you sure I can't throttle luci a few times? i'll happily take him off Sev's hands...~gives a moste evile smirk to Lucius over the author's shoulder~
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
I'm sure Severus would be delighted if you did, but then Lucius wouldn't cooperate with me. And I will be writing his POV soon! Thanks for reviewing!
wow! I'm so glad Ginny was quick to stop Ron, and glad that Hermione has a friend to share the truth with about her infertility. I'm also glad that Harry and Draco seem to be working out this group marriage bit. but I don't like the way Lucius is looking at Hermione and preparing to do harm to her relationship with Severus; Lucius isn't acting out of love for Hermione. bad Lucius! who else could he marry?thank you for the new chapter!!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
It's just as well for Ron that Ginny did, and yes, it's good that Hermione has someone else she can talk to.I'm sure Severus would agree with you! As would Hermione, if she knew the full extent of Lucius's up-to-no-good plotting. Would anyone else have him, though? Thanks for reviewing!
That is sooo sad, I really hope that everything is going to get better sometime!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
It's certainly not an easy choice for Ginny.Um... well, it should by the end of the story. Thanks for reviewing!
While going through my emails today I realzied that I never actually left a review for this chapter even though I read it when it first posted a the beginning of the month! I'm glad I keep those notifications! Simply because I really did enjoy this chapter and the reaction of our boys when they got to see what happened! Thanks for posting!! Much Love ~ Brena
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you very much! I'm delighted that you came back to review, and that you enjoyed the chapter.More coming soon!
Now Severus has a true idea of the woman he's married. I'm intrigued by Lucius' reaction...maybe this marriage will not remain 'in name only', although I don't think Severus will be too happy about that, as seen in this chapter.Looking forward to the next chapter. =)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
That he does! And no, he won't be a happy bunny about that.Next chapter coming soon!
Their reactions to the Pensieve are priceless. Bravo!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I'm delighted you think so.More coming soon...
Good for Hermione, getting Severus released but I hate to see how much trouble Lucius will cause before the law is repealed. ~Maybe Severus should send Lucius to Greece for a long vacation.~
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Good for Hermione indeed...Trouble is Lucius's middle name. I fear the Greeks would send him straight back!Thank you!
GO HERMIONE!GET YOUR MAN!Love it.If she was at most of the trials she would end up being voted minister.lolwaiting for another delightful chapter.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! She'd certainly make a better Minister than Fudge, and sounds like Kingsley would be glad to be rid of the job.Next chapter has reached the betaing stage, so the wait shouldn't be too much longer!
Catching up on fics after a sojourn from the fandom... and loving this one thoroughly. The premise is so original, and I can't help but hope that Severus and Hermione let Lucius into their marriage. I also hope that Severus can do something for her infertility. Personally, I wouldn't want kids, but I know it is important to many people. Perhaps she can have one on her own time now.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I'm delighted to hear it!Lucius certainly hopes so. Or at least to be let into the bedroom...Perhaps!
Not a good idea to do something which would get Hermione angry. Poor Kingsley, only just found out and Hemione was ready to do serious bodily harm to him. Good thing they worked that out. Wouldn't have minded seeing her go after Fudge though. ;-)Looking forward to the next chapter to see how Snape reacts to being...detained as it were. =)
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Definitely not a good idea! Maybe Fudge knows to keep his distance now...Next chapter is now in the hands of my betas, so hopefully will be coming soon.
This was such an awesome chapter. I was so upset for Hermione! Seriously, Locking Severus up like that, WTF? If my husband disappeared I would be a chick on the warpath thats for sure! I loved how she handled Fudge in the Wizengamot session! She was a riot. Strong and to the point. Very awesome. I van't wait for more! Much Love ~ Brena
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! I'm delighted to hear it, Hermione on the warpath was fun to write.More coming as soon as my betas have finished with it!
Miscarriage? Too bad. How does that affect the brood-mare status? Will she have to try again right away?
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
You're along the right lines, as you might already know if you've read chapter 16!Thanks for reviewing!

Interesting, I liked the harried Healer. You gave her enough depth to make her interesting and I can even sympathies with her a bit. Her lack of manners and deafness made her all the more real.
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Thank you! She was an interesting character to come up with. I'm glad you liked her. Thanks for reviewing!

Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
No, it shouldn't have faded so early! I hope chapter 16 answered some of your questions. Thanks for reviewing.

I wonder about the fertility spells. Will they insure a baby or mulitpiles? WHAT did that healer see regarding Hermione's potential child? Evil cliff Ayerf! Evil!
Response from ayerf (Author of Polyandry and Other Problems)
Good question. I think it will leave the numbers to nature, only fiddling with the gender.Thank you! I hoped it would be.
