I adore the world of HP.
Thanks for stopping by. I'm off to stir my cauldron.
Reviews for Breaching the Otherworld
Hmm. Lucius is having nightmares about Voldemort and Nagini. This is definitely an unexpected puzzle piece in your delightfully suspenseful tale. I can't wait to find out more.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Glad you are enjoying.
Lucius's conscience is getting to him? I actually don't believe he has one, so that is really interesting. I love the guilty nightmare though.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
I don't think he has one either. :)
Malfoy's dream wasn't really a dream - was it? I actually squealed when I received the email that this story had updated! Great chapter! Great story!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thanks for reading. :) His dream is... hmmm... more on that soon.
Thank you so much for this update. Even though elements of the story are uncomfortable, it is highly addictive. Blessed be.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Very uncomfortable in some parts, but things will work out. :) Eventually.
The meeting with Hermione's parents went pretty well. I'm glad you depicted them as intelligent and perceptive as one would expect professionals to be. I assume the relief Hermione was feeling was Severus's, who had loved someone who married another. Hermione needs to stop and use her brain and not for snooping. That is going to lead to trouble.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Yeah, a lot of times when they are portrayed otherwise, I really hate it. I tried to imagine my parents and their take on things. Hmmm. Well, no, they probably would have been angrier, but you know what I mean. Hahaha
i'm still a little uneasy about trusting Snape, i hope i'm wrong but i feel theres something fishy going on between him and lucius
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
There is something more. :) ~whistles innocently~
Whoa. Well, glad her parents took that...uh... better than expected. Creepy dream Lucius had though. Good stuff. Will look forward to more.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Much better than expected. :)
yay update!! Hope you get well soon Southern. I look forward to the updates.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
All's well! Thank you. :)
I am all caught up now. As I said before, this story is adictive.I really enjoyed the previous chapter where Hermione's memories come back to her, esp. the sharing of their first kiss. Quite endearing. But how could anyone in their right mind choose Ron over Severus? Perhaps I am a bit biased in that regard...There have been so many unexpected twists in this plot-line that I cannot phathom where you might be going with this. I only trust that sooner or later, Severus and Hermione will end up happily together. The fun is in finding out how, right?
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
I'm totally biased as well with Ron vs. Snape. Bring on the dark-haired git if you ask me. :) LOL
My mother was born on Friday the 13th of August, the exact same day as Fidel Castro! We used to tease her about running our household like a dictator. LOLI loved the way you used the news articles. In the story I am currently writing, I have had a lot of fun with Rita writing a scandulous article at just the right moment. She is so much fun to mess with. This story is addictive. I only found it late Saturday night and I must pry myself from the computer when real life calls.Great job. I'll catch up eventaully.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
LOL! How cute. :) Thanks for reading and reviewing. xoxox
Very enjoyable, I suspect the two of them plotting will yeild entertaining results.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
too right. :)
You have to write more..Wow! So well written.
good chapter. Looking forward to Ron and Harry confronting Severus and Hermione and ,of course, Severus' disclosures.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Hope you like it.
Hmmm... I'm actually more confused about what's happening now. I wonder if Ron's been hexed, Draco... who knows, maybe even Narcissa. And Snape seems to be trying to soothe Hermione but after the last chapter, and the fact that he was somehow involved with Lucius during this entire process just has me worried about his intentions. Not to mention that, for basically taking Hermione's life from her, he simply acts like it was the right thing to do to save himself. It is a rather twisted logic, that - 'I'll try to make you content in exchange for your entire life's plan' - I don't think it's an even trade.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
It's so very confusing still at this point--mostly. :) And no, it's definitely not a trade. I'll touch on that soon.
Beat him up, Harry! Pound him into the ground!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Hehehe!!
I don't know why but I got a nagging suspicion that Severus is not as genuine as he is appearing to Hermione. when I read this I kept thinking in the back of my mind that he is manipulating her some how. This story is so intriging. But... The thymus in adults is hardly identifiable it most consist of fat. Just thought I let you know.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Glad you like the story, and I can't say much about Severus, as idon't want to give things away. For the purposes of this fiction, the thymus plays a bigger part in things, especially mixing with green Chakra. Wizards know things that Muggles do not, though they are still in the dark about thymus glands, etc. in these days. I thought I'd be able to use a body part to my advantage without someone nitpicking about it. I expect I should have left an author's note explaining why I chose to use something. I figure you can do anything you'd like in ficiton, no?
Response from velvetkiss (Reviewer)
No, it is true that you can use anything you like in fiction, I didn't mean to nag you. The nurse in me just wanted to shout out that fact about the thymus. I know I have nitpicked you before but it is just the way I review. I'm sorry, I hope I didn't cause you any offense.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
No, it's okay. I've read it again, and I was a bit sharp in my reply. I apologize for that. It just seemed like a good body part that I could use with magic that nobody could say anything about b/c of the little they know about it after puberty. Hahaha... And I'd just told someone that, and then the next review had that. I was like "Oi!"
Lucius really needs to be paid back for that.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
I agree
I have a very bad feeling about Ron and his new wife. I wonder if Lucius had a hand in that of if Ron is just a big git!?
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
~smiles and winks~
Little late for a fight now, Harry. It's not like anything can be fixed by making some woman you've never met feel unwelcome.Looking forward to more--especially to see how the Lucius/Severus argument turns out.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
yep, sometimes anger makes us do crazy things! ;)
Ambiguous Snape and now ambiguous Ron. Looks like he was probably manipulated, too. Interesting Harry in this chapter. I hope Snape's potion does help Hermione.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Manipulation all around here! More up shortly.
Oh wow. So much to take in with this chapter, but the morally ambiguous Snape is really something!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
thanks for reading
There are a lot of good HGSS stories out there, and I enjoy reading them, but they don't really affect me all that much. Not so with this one! I find that I really CARE what happens to Hermione and Severus in this story. You have succeeded in inserting some indefinable quality into your writing that has made me feel for them. Great characterization. Thanks and please don't make us wait too long to find out how this situation came about.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thank you for the review. I have the next one in the works now. My beta should get it today at some point.
Interesting twist, I can't wait to see what happens next!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thanks
Oh ho, that would ease the matter a bit - with Ron being married... hah! At least that settled between the two, each with their own wife and husband... Very nice update, although things are still a bit blurry here and there, gah, still got so many questions waiting to be answered! One moment I think Severus was a bit of a prat to use her like that, and then think not when he vowed to care for her and such. I really like the sweet dream Hermione was having when she fainted in his arms. I wonder if that is his making - thinking that it's easier to talk to her in a peaceful environment than the dusty room in their house. You could have made my day by inserting some smut in! Hehe... :PAh, well... I hope the next one is soon. And hopefully *that* one has some smut... and less Lucius, hate that man now...Okay, okay, I'll shut up now. Blame the coffee!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Does ease matters indeed, doesn't it? HeheheI hope to help you out in the answers department soon. maybe some smut, but I don't think it will be in the next chapter. However, I'm writing it now, so the muse may kick in and request some. :)
Very good chapter, though I admit I'm feeling as lost and confused as Hermione! I simply cannot wait to see where you take this now that things are starting to fall into place. And please let Draco feel better soon! Can't wait for more!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
There will be lots of info in the next chapter. :)
