This is such a great chapter! I loved how Hermine is getting little snippets of her memory back and how she's doing her research. It was also nice to see her hanging out in their home. Very sweet and sentimental without being too depressing. I'm going to go read the next chapter. Nasty, tricky Lucius! I wonder what his real reason was to bring Hermione and Severus together?Cant wait to see what happens next!

This is so gripping! This is Severus, right? There's no chance that Lucius really brought back someone else into his body, is there? That would be too scary! LOL But why does Lucius want to bring Severus back? And now I'm questioning where the tome came from and if it's actually Lucius responsible for its "sentience." Hmmm, I'd noticed the doctor at the hospital was described with the same kind of teeth as Lucius. It was unnerving, and now I think there might be a connection after all? Is there anything to that?

For Hermione's sake, I'm hoping her and Severus will be quite happy with thei situation and that all those eerie dreams of him were only due to the spirit's outrageous desire to be in flesh again…

So many questions and ideas… I can't wait to see how this plays out. Thanks for such a compelling story  =)

Gah, that Lucius is so slippery! Was it really necessary for him to do that? Would Hermione really have backed out? It's almost like Lucius would have been better served to be planting seeds of doubt in Hermione's mind the whole time, rather than using a liquid Imperius.

Good chapter.  I am eager to find out what happens next.  There's one mistake here though: the whites of the eyes are NOT the retina ("Back were the white retinas, though the centers were still black as night.") FYI:  The white part is called the sclera--the retina is inside the eyeball at the back of the orbit.

Wow, no kidding on more Snape, lol.  Gotta love conniving!Lucius, so pretty and so sneaky.  And the sex, ooahh the sex, lol.  Wonderful and can't wait for the next chapter.

Wow, that was something.  And I hope she manages her revenge on Lucius.  He deserves it.  And Ron, well, that was really sucky.  He should have told her it was over.

I dont remember in which fanfic I read it from but I remember that Lucius did the same thing, befriended her then betrayed her (I think), then Hermione beat his but up. Like crucio and everything, hahaha that was great, hopefully the revenge will be something like that XD =D

I am glad that Hermione finally accepted the fact that she and Severus will be together. Hopefully she doesn't change her mind after the potion wears off. I am curious why Lucius wanted to bring Severus back. Perhaps there is some potion that he wants Severus to make for him. Were those pictures truly of Ron? Perhpas that was another trick he used to force Hermione to do his bidding.

First of all, thank you for a brilliant update!!!!! Seccond, you leave my somewhat bevildered about if I am going to be mad at Lucius or not. I really hate that he tricked her like that, and proving that for him she is no more than a lowly mudblood who was useful to reach his goal. I honestly think there should be a price to pay for him for that. On the other side, would Hermione been able to go through with it all without the drug Lucius used on her? That is the only redeaming thougth I have about him at the moment, that no matter his intentions, Hermione is just where she is supposed to be, in the arms of Severus and bonded with him so there will never be any room for ickle Ron to worm his way back into her life. I hope this Severus was so real that Hermione doesn't have to get hurt by a Severus who now throws her away in a misguided attempt to save his poor hearth and mind. If he does, neither he or Lucius should ever be forgiven, there is only so much betrayal I would allow them to inflict upon Hermione, and after all she has been through lately, she at least deserve that what she experienced with Severus was based on truth and that they have something to work on, building their future together. Update again soon!!!!
