Ah, so Ron did do something out there... but did he do it on his own?
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
That remains to be seen. :)
What a cliff hanger! I thought the parts where Hermione's memory was coming back to her were quite vivid. No wonder she is confused, I was there and it all seems fuzzy to me too! Hurry up with that next chapter!!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
More up soon. I'm working on it today in fact. I'm glad you like it.
that was a very interesting chapter. All those memories coming back to Hermione but with the benefit of being an outsider... The interactions between Snape and Lucius, Severus's will to make her happy and Ron... Did he marry under the Imperius?
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
I shall explain that in the next chapter! :)
Ron got married? And Severus is still playing with Hermione. I'm really not liking what has been done to her. I hope Lucius gets what he deserves.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
I agree with you here. ~nod~
Ooh, another tantalizing chapter. I'm so glad Hermione's started to figure things out. I'm hoping for a heppy ending with Severus, but it's always fun to wonder just what are his motives. I applaud your Draco for being brave and concerned enough to break his vow. Looking forward to seeing how this story wraps up!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
I always enjoy happy endings. The next chapter will be up tomorrow, and it has Draco's reasoning in it. :)
Been reading this story this weekend. Wow. Really liked it (like most of your writing). I loved the intrigue. Thank You!!
Lucius is definitely a bastard but I can't for the life of me figure what exactly he's up to. I agree with Hermione it sounds like Severus is supposed to be the next Dark Lord, but obviously Lucius has considerable power over him, so why wouldn't he want to be himself? Unless he knows that the expected life span for Dark Lords is pretty low and he finds it better to play puppetmaster instead. I think I've even speculated about this before, but I've been behind on reading so I can't remember.
I wonder what the true nature of that book really is now. I'm beginning to think it works somewhat similarly to the way the diary worked and that when Ginny finds out about Hermione falling for that she's going to get really pissed off. I also think that Lucius has been 100% in control of what the tome told Hermione and the dreams she had, except perhaps for the one at the beach.
I also think Lucius was completely responsible for what happened with Ron in France, and you know what else? I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it turns out that the woman Ron was meeting with was actually just a business associate and that the pictures were fake, so that Ron comes home and becomes a victim of this whole thing too. Or if Lucius was working with the woman (whose name, I'm really sorry, I've forgotten) and they've tricked Ron somehow or given him some sort of love potion or something.
Clever of Lucius to anoint himself with that potion. I just realised that now, but he wasn't actually present, was he, when Hermione woke Severus up and he could be potentially dangerous. Hermione probably didn't get anointed out of any wish to protect her, just so that a) she wouldn't find it weird that he did and b) in case Severus did turn out to be dangerous he wouldn't harm her before she could finish or c) she's somehow important to this grand scheme that I can't figure out.
About time that Draco managed to get hold of Harry though. I think he knows if not everything then at least a LOT more than anyone. Perhaps even more than Severus knows, because he seems to have figured out what the grand plan is about. I also think Narcissa is involved somehow.OMG! I've got it! Narcissa is the woman! Ron's woman! So he WAS tricked! Wow, I'm so clever!

You've said so many things that I'd like to comment on! :) Good work. I hope you have a few more answers in the next chapter, but I can't really comment on everything, else I'd let slip too much. Thank you very much for reading and enjoying.
Looks like Severus is starting to see the big picture. I enjoyed this chapter.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thank you very much
ok think I've got it, Lucius bad, Draco good, Severus angry, Hermione confused, everyone else in the dark...
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
So very close
Bugger , I've gone off Lucius now, what a shame. What is his agenda??
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
lol
argh.... Lucius isn't one for charitable deeds that have no benefit for him personally. he must have done things in such a way that Severus - who, like Hermione, is unable to harm Lucius - is now obligated to Lucius. hopefully, not like a living Inferi! glad to see Hermione remembering things. and hopefully Draco and Harry kill Lucius - or maybe Ron will run into Lucius with his car. muahaha!!! thanks for the new chapter.

You are so very clever.
Wow this story is very interesting! I can't wait to read more. Hope you update soon.

Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)

Draco and Ron seemed to be mentioned together a lot hmmm...
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
i never noticed!
Sounds like she is about to get lucky...very lucky...
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
yep
Oh no wonnder Lucius wanted to have a protection from Severus! Sly slippery Slytherin orchestrated it all, didn't he? Ron's affair, and dissapreance, George sending Ron to France, manipulated Hermione completely and used her... and Severus knows and can't do anything about it! Gads! Lucius is gonna be in troub-ble!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
~keeps quiet~:)
Lucius still seems a bit sneaky, but perhaps that is just the Slytherin in him.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
he's very sly
Good long start setting the scene and the characters , now where to from here?
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thank you very much
This is an incredible chapter. I'm glad that Lucius isn't going to get away with anything with Severus and Hermione both angry and with Harry learning… something… from Draco. I liked that line about Hermione being worried about what she was doing to Severus' neck because of Nagini. I'd never thought of that before. It's a likely thought she could have. I look forward to finding out what was really going on with the tome and the eerie dreams. Lucius was manipulating the book somehow. Thanks for this story, I love it!

I am so glad that Hermione is regaining her memories and trusting her instincts. Though I do look forward to discovering more about the book.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
Thank you very much
The more I read the more I think this is a horror story and Hermione has been nothing but a pawn between Severus and Lucius. The events she is just starting to understand give me goose bumps. I wonder if Lucius wants Severus to be the next dark lord and so he set up this whole thing to facilitate he rebirth only discover Severus is not interested? Its all so very curious. And now Draco seems to be on Hermione’s side. OH mystery author post another chapter quick! I need to know what happens next!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
I wish I could comment more to what you are saying here, but I'd hate to give things away. Please keep reading. :) thx
Looking forward to seeing what all this means. Sev seems very ellusive, though I realize he can't explain himself fully to Lucius. I think it's interesting, and seems just like Lucius, that he'd trick HErmione into sleeping with him - something to lord over SEv perhaps? To one up him?? Swarmy bastard! :)
Response from Mazzy (Reviewer)
oops - edit - can't explain himself fully to HERMIONE :)
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Breaching the Otherworld)
No problem. :)I hope you like the next one!
