i can't believe i might get in the first review for this chapter! if i type superfast! i really loved the format with the newspaper snippets - very entertaining way to present all sorts of different aspects of the story, intermingled with all sorts of delightful ridiculosities (which probably isn't a word, but i think it should be). and i am SO GLAD skeeter got fired. and draco is okay. and lucius is not okay. : )

Just found this story and couldn't stop reading until I was all caught up.  LOVE it!  Lucius is definitely going to get what's coming to him.  Looking forward to see what happens.

oh my goodness.  i had been meaning to read this for a long time, and then when it won the best story, i thought, okay, now i really should read this, and so yesterday work was dead and i finally started it, and - now i see WHY it WON.  talk about suspense!  i barely know what to say, except i am totally hooked and on the edge of my seat, and really happy i have a few more chapter to read before i catch up to you.  i don't trust lucius any more than i trust the tome, and i wonder what draco does or doesn't know, and i wonder about where snape's spirit is floating, and i worry about what hermione has gotten herself into.  and i hope that somehow it all works out okay in the end.  *chews fingernail*  thanks for brilliant story!

Hmmm. It seems that just because Severus cannot hurt Lucius physically, does not mean he cannot do other things to the man....I wonder why Hermione has not contacted her other friends - Harry and Ginny- yet to let them know she is safe, especially since she knows they were at her parent's house?

Well - I wonder if it is guilt that is causing Lucius to have bad dreams or if Severus has cursed him to - I cannot wait to see how this plays out - good chapter.

Interesting chapter - them plotting and planning - what will they come up for Malfoy. Severus did kiss Narcissa but Lucius slept with Hermione - big difference in my opinion - a wizard's ego is at stake and Lucius is in trouble.

Why do I get the feeling, dear Severus might have something to do with Lucius' Nightmares?? As in what-goes-around-comes-around, you tricked my wife into something she didnt want and messed with her mind, now I'm messing with you.Or maybe I'm so totally off, that I wont be back till next week. Hm... the last dream sequence suggests Lucius may actually have a conscious. Might he be feeling guilty over telling Skeeter about Snape and Hermione? And you may not have known this, but the article formatting tags weren't closed so the rest of the story is large and bold.

Loving it so far, but small point... we don't have mail boxes, we have letter boxes in the front doors of our houses, and the post (not mail) is put through that. And either lands in a cage the otherside, or on the doormat on the floor.

Exciting as always.  Looks like Lucius has been hit with a dream/nightmare potion or curse.  Should be interesting to see what happens.  How long will he last in this condition?  A Malfoy with sweaty, matted hair?  What is the world coming to.  Thanks for sharing such a wonderful story.  I look forward to your next chapter, JoAnne

I'm glad all went well given the circumstances with Hermione's parents. Now, to meet the friends. and those nightmares of Lucius are disquieting.

Oh I loved this! I've been waiting and crossing fingers - and you've updated! I really liked the 'meet the parents scene.  really believable! and I so got a kick of Lucuis' nap-mare! Sooo cool!
