Ok, so now it all falls into place.  How very strange indeed.  It was a blast to read, I enjoyed all the twist and turns.  You are a very gifted and talented writer.  I hope you continue to share your stories with us.

Ok, so you have just shocked the hell out of me.  I had to go back and re-read this chapter over again once I got to the end.  I could not comprehend that you actually turned Lily into Hermione.  OMG,  you really have made this story your own.  This is not just the usual plot twist, it is a tornado.  It was odd enough that you had brought her back to life but to make her Hermione?  I can't wait to see where you take this.  Oh my poor dear Severus, as if his life was not screwed up enough already.

NO!   Oh girl what were you thinking ?  I don't want to waste time, I must go on to the next chapter. 

Dumbledor, has known all along that she has survived.  Yes, yes, for the greater good.  But good God give poor Severus a break.  Even though, I was thinking he should be with Lily after the war it was warming my heart that he was really letting Hermione in.  No matter what happens and who ends up with whom there will be broken hearts.  Oh to see the look on Draco's face as he watches his Prof. snogging Hermione up against the wall, how wickedly delicious.

Wow ! Lilly is alive, what a way to put a twist into this story.  Now that SS is having feelings for Hermione it may complicate things once Lily comes out of the shadows.  But I am a true romantic at heart and I still feel that he will choose Lily in the end.  There is nothing like the imprint of your first love, so I will be very surprised if you have him choose Hermione.  So glad I don't have to wait for the rest of the story to be posted since it is complete.  Saying that, I must admit it is taking all my will not to read the last two chapters and be done with the suspense. Ten stars on this chapter.

Great chapter.  I think canon left so much to the imagination, and I like how you are filling in the gaps.  I really, really, dislike author’s intent and popular interpretation when it comes to these two.  The whole unrequited just doesn’t go with the Snape I see in canon that is a spy and is quite in control at Spinner’s End.  Also we are never told in canon why he took the dark mark, but I’m thinking in your story it has to do with counteract Eileen’s spell.  If it is, then I think it is ingenious, and hope to see it more often.  JKR did say he joined the Death Eaters to impresser her.  Granted I don’t take what JKR says as canon, but if I’m right about why he took the dark mark, then what she says fits in perfectly.

I like your approach to Eileen. What we get from canon that she cowed once and argues with her husband.  So little is told about this character, and I’m glad you took a different approach than popular interpretation.   I also like how you had the shirking shack incident happen after the mudblood incident.  This is the second time I’ve seen it, and I like how authors take canon and fit it to make an interesting story.  I really enjoyed this chapter.

Yay!  Happy ending!Everything made so much sense!(although, I admitt I was worried when Herm told Sev about the blueball flame the first time.)
