Very interesting chapter!  I think, however, that Hermione was so willing to forgive because she KNOWS that Severus is a spy.  Lily didn't.  Remembering that she found the Mark after she shagged him, I think I understand her reaction.  I'd have to say I would be pretty miffed in that situation myself!  Although I never liked the Severus/Lily pairing before, I like it better in this story.  I think I am more sympathetic to Lily than Hermione, though.  >_<  Don't hate me!Keep the updates coming, I love it!

It is a very interesting take to put Lily as the outsider in her house, and her only friend is Severus.Rose is a true terror and mini monster!

Hmm, it's hard for me to have sympathy for Lily at this point, I think, because you've shown the stark contrast between Lily and Hermione at the same age. Hermione is willing to listen and forgive, whereas Lily was not. I think the moment for Lily and Snape passed, and she should let him have his chance with Hermione -- as should Dumbledore (that scheming arsehole). Of course, I bow to the author in this regard. :)

Damn that Dumbledore! I think Lily has had a difficult life because of Rose, and because of what Rose and James did to her, but that doesn't mean she has the right to be sentimental over Severus. He tried to explain, he tried to make amends and show her what he was doing, but she turned on him and forced him even deeper. She may be feeling guilt, but I don't think she gets to have Severus!

Damn Albus for getting in the way of Severus having any happiness.  I mean they know he is going to die why not let him have what happiness he can get for the moment.  Please don't let him die in your story.  Please.  Albus always had to have it his way.  Like no body elses ideals would work just as well.  It just makes me mad as hell.

Ticking off the years she'd been at Hogwarts and what she'd done to him...perfect! I loved this chapter, even tho my stomach sunk when they were caught.

So Lily is alive and has been in hiding. Dumbledore wants to keep Severus miserable--no surprise there. And Dumbledore is probably counting on Severus not surviving the war.

There was this awful time in my life when I realsied that Mulder and Scully would never get it on and I was wasting my time watching the X Files. This is how I feel about HG/SS stories now, and how I've felt about them for well over a year.This story of yours has not changed my mind about the pairing.However, it is unique in that it holds the attention and is enticing me in to a well thought-out tale. The storytelling is very well executed.Characters are crap, but as they're not yours, sleep easy.

Poor, poor Hermione. She is going to be so hartbrooken when it is revealed that Lily is still alive, no matter what feelings Severus migth have for Hermione, he has been so caugth in the image of his perfect, lost, love, that he will instinctivly go for Lily at first. One migth hope that he will come to his senses soon enough to realise that Hermione is the one for him, before he ruins it all. One migth say that life has dealt some hard blows to Lily, but se doesn't deserve Severus, neither his love or getting him back. Lily is jugdemental, and her love is conditional. She can love Severus now that she knows he is a spy, but she couldn't love him back then when he really needed her. I knwo Lily probably have plenty of nice  qualites, it is just that I am very protective of "my" Hermione and I think Severus and Hermione is perfect for each other. Lily not only left him, she went to the one she knew he hated the most and who had been his worst enemy for years. She had to pay the price when James betrayed her with her own sister, but I still feel that she has lost her chance with Severus. I just hope that Severus don't break Hermiones hart before he realise that she is the one for him and that Lily is a part of his past! Update again soon!

Shite, that's all bad. Not the writing, of course; the situation.  Lily's still in love with Severus, Harry's not her son, Severus has fallen for a sixth year (who's, let's face it, pretty much the awesome.) and they're definitely compatible on a lot of levels, and Dumbledore did catching.  Yes.  And poor Herms, who is all, you know, blown about by the whims of others.

Yes. I'm just going to practice my mindfulness now and allow the story to unfold. (Even if I do want to make Lily/Dumbledore/Voldie all disappear and/or approve of Sev/Mione.)

The scene in the classroom was too hot - I hated that Dumbledore caught him so early with Hermione - I thought Blast and double Blast.  I freaked when you said Draco was in the classroom and thought - crap they are all dead but I am glad it is not a problem - cannot wait for more

Oh my - Lily alive - well this complicates things - I think with the way Severus feels still for her that he would pass Hermione up just for Lily - but then again - he might get so mad at her for lying all these years to turn from her - who knows - oh right - only the author - dying for the next installment

Loved this chapter.  Rose finally confesses all - the confrontation with the Voldemort was good - all in all - great writing

I really don't know if I like this Dumbledore, and the Lily being alive is confusing. But I will wait this out, I have enjoyed it so far.

I loved the first part, until Hermione came on the scene. Your youngsters Lily and Severus  story was brilliant, but after jump into Harrys era there were to many unexplained things and the SS+HG relationship uprised  in such a rush. Adult Severus was very OC and I can not imagine in the wildest dream how he coud live as Ron and become quidditch player. Anyway very original and unexpected end. Thank you for the story.  Barbora

I've been following this story and must admit that I was at first bothered by the twin sister twist.  But after reading chapter 9 and 10 I think it is quite clever.  Especially if my gut instinct is right.  Psst...Lily is alive right??  Nope!  Don't tell me!  I love the suspense.  I look forward to your next update.
