Whoa! If the real Hermione is dead and Lily took her place and was involved in all that intrigue--I don't think I like her very much. Severus has devoted his life to protect the son of the late woman he loved, but the son is not her son and she did not pass away. So many risks he must have taken I am sure were needless as he probably under-valued his life because his love was gone. This is looking like a major "cluster f_uck." Where do you go from here?

Hmmm -- Wonder how Harry's going to feel about all this when he learns the truth!!!!!!!!!! My gosh, his friend is his aunt and his mother wasn't his mother. The woman he is unaware of was his mother, his father was a sneaking cheat. Dumbledore was more of a liar than Lockhart, the Granger's don't have a daughter anymore and there's the possibility that Lily/Hermione is pregnant with Harry's child and claims it to Severus'... freaky!

I don't know about the characters in this story and how they feel, but I think I'm a bit dizzy with all these twists and turns! It's like a soap opera!

At least this chapter explained a lot ;)

Great twister there!  From the other comments, I certainly see that you did indeed pull that rug out from them.  I now fear that this deception has had irrevocable consequences for the pair.

I admit to be confused, but very intrigued at the same time. I think I have to dwell on this very new twist for an hour or two, but I think you will be able to make it work. Not many could, it is a rather wild twist, but while thinking of it, I do think you will make it! I am not sure I am all that happy with you "ruining" my view on Hermione though, at the moment I share some of Severus anger at her:-)I can understand Severus anger, not only because of the shock he has just got, Lily alive, Lily not being Harry's mother, and not at least, get thrown into his face that Dumbledore never trusted him, only used him. Yup, I can understand him being hurt and angry. I do hope though that he will be able to forgive some of it and understand the rest. 10 of the years where due to Lockharts bad spell, quite a bit of the rest by Dumbledorts manipulation. She is carrying his child, a child who deserves both parents to love him/her. He migth find it hard to trust her with his harth for a very long time, but I can't imagine Severus not willing to do his best for his child.

Holy shit! But... that means Hermione's dead. And also that Lily Evans is an insufferable know-it-all. And jealous of Lavender, even though she's in love with Severus? And... in love with Severus as a first-year? That's actually kind of icky. And Lily really is a deeply flawed human being. At this point, she's less likeable than Severus, and you know that's saying something. Severus is about as likeable as roadkill, most days.

Although it does put an entirely different spin on the possibility that Harry knocked her up.

This makes and interesting development. Liliy alive and still having feelings for Severus, Severus still having feelings for Lily and new ones for Hermione, hermione having feelings for Severus (and maybe to complicate things further, maybe she has some feelingds for Ron?) Whew.And where has Liliy been hiding all these years?
