Reviews for Quantum Mechanics
Uh oh, what has happened now? :)
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Well, it's the night everything goes to heck in the canon... Thank you for the review!
Response from sunny33 (Reviewer)
LOL. I forgot all about canon! :)
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
<3
I am all sorts of curious about Hermione and Renee. You will throw more hints this way wont you?
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Oh, yes. There is more coming on that situation. I'm not entirely sure how soon, but more is coming. Thank you for the review!
A splendid narration and no confusion here that isn't Septima's. The poor woman! Severus is nice again, and he really treads carefully around the Hermione/Renée issue--he does love Septima. Now, let's send A.D. for a nice, long holiday.. Hm, we're in book 3, and Umbridge isn't coming for a while. Goodness the irony if they owed THAT hyena their love. I'm still totally angry about Remus, how little character does that Gryffindor have, pushing a woman who's so obviously not his? Of course he'd like to be cured, but is it even possible? Did he check that A.D. wasn't lying?
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Remus knows better than to be pushy; he's letting Dumbledore be pushy for him. Actually, I think he's getting swept up in Dumbledore's enthusiasm just as he used to get swept up in James and Sirius's schemes. He didnt' think of it himself, but he's willing to play along.I do have plans for dear Dolores (she's so deliciously evil), but not for a while... I think.Thank you for reading and reviewing!
Some more progress. When will she realise Hermione IS Renee? :)
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
She's really stuck until something can be found to reverse the damage, and Severus doesn't know how to do that until he can dig far enough down to see what happened. Eventually they'll get there.Thank you for the review!
They're still all tangled up, but at least they've gotten this far, on both counts, the Hermione memories, and their relationship. I hope things resolve themselves. I'm not going to say soon, because I think this will probably endure until the war, but hopefully Severus will come to his real senses, and Septima will accept some of hers. Fabulous job, dear. This one just gets better and better.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Oh, thank you! That's high praise from you.I don't think Severus has completely shaken free, but he sees more clearly than he has in a while. Septima's a bit more tricky, but she's getting closer to the truth.
My fingers are crossed this time they figure it out.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Severus has figured something out, anyway. Thank you for the lovely reviews!
I still say Severus has been cursed. Not that Remus cares....
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Everybody's hoping to get something, here, aren't they? Thank you!
ZOMG did Albus put some sort of curse on Severus?? I am outraged on Severus and Septimia's behalf.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
I think it's more accurate to say that Albus put something *in* Severus, via the brandy. Thanks, again!
Response from MollysSister (Reviewer)
You are going to kill off Dumbledore at some point right? RIGHT?
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Well, of course, but it doesn't feel like it's going to be soon enough.
Wow I can hardly beleive the conversation turned out that way. Who woulda thunk it?
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Once in a while, Septima uses her mind and summons the confidence to say what she's thinking. ;) Thank you, again!
Excellent! I want to be well shot of Lupin now. Just you back off Dumbledore!! I shall give him my stern look.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
LOL! Dumbledore will press his agenda, but maybe we can keep that agenda from messing things up too much. Thank you for the review!
At least he realized what's up, but how to counteract it without Dumbly knowing. And as for the Legilimens, I hope that works too. Poor Septima. She has no idea what's going on.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
It took him a while to recognize what was going on, didn't it? Septima's memories still have a bit to go, but she'll get closer to understanding it. Thank you for the review!
Dumbledore DID dose the brandy. I suspected as much! :)
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Dumbledore doses everything, at least in this story. Thank you for the review!
Oh, Septima. Don't fall prey to a man just because he says something nice to you. I see a pattern here. She is really in need of some honest, good-intentioned loving. I don't see it coming her way soon :(
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
She's decided that everyone has an angle, so she's going to develop one of her own. Thank you for the review!
Well that was not a nice place to leave things! Never in a fic have I looked so forward to the death of Dumbledore. I know Septima stays and endures abuse from all sides because she wants to be near Severus, and despite all that's gone on, I think she believes that she will win him over eventually, but I would have packed my bags long ago. I really hope she gets a happy ending.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
It can be so difficult... we put ourselves in situations and endure so much because we're not willing to see what else is out there. As for Dumbledore's death, it can't come soon enough for me.Thank you for the review!
MEN!!! Dunno which of the three I'd kick first here!Albus? Severus? Remus?
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
I think Remus is just sort of along for the ride, like he was when Sirius and James got into trouble. Severus was a little dumb not to catch on, and Dumbledore is causing most of the trouble here, right now.Thank you for the review!
You're ticking me off. I don't like Imperiused Severus, and you can just stop it now. Is sixth year here yet? Can he kill Dumbles more than once, do you think? Maybe an infinity spell, where Dumbles just hangs in the moment the Avada hits him and he spends eternity there, in misery and pain.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
I hope you're ticked off the right way! Severus is about to get hit by another clue brick of sorts, if that helps, any. Thank you for the review!
Hmm, I'm not sure I like Remus's motives here. :)
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
I'm going with a mental picture of Remus as someone who gets caught up in other people's enthusiasms, here. Of course there's something in it for him, too...Thank you for the review!
Ooh, Albus is playing really dirty. Can I wring his neck? :)
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
I think there's a line. ;) Thank you for the review!
ahhh, he grew a concious, or was it a Gryffindor heart? I guess we'll just hav eto speculate.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
He feels responsible, and now that they're starting to get along again, he wants to help her out. Thank you so much for the reviews!
Dumbledore and his hot cocoa! THE NERVE! That was pretty neat.
Response from Fishy (Reviewer)
I do have a hard time wrapping my head around Dumbledore knwoing that Erwin was abusive, and allowing something like that to continue - the Dumbledore I know and love wouldn't allow anything of the sort - manipulative as he is - but I am anxious to see how you work this.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Thank you! Yes, this Dumbledore is particularly evil. Usually when I write him as meddling, he's trying to get Snape together with someone. It's a bit OOC, but there's some reasoning behind it. Thanks for the review!
That was intense...I like intense.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Thank you! ;)
Yuck
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Yeah, definitely. Thank you for the review!
I'm a bit confused - is Erwin blind? Who is Oiler? Is that a company and, is Erwin asking Severus for her hand so he can court her? This whole chapter was confusing to me. But I've been known to be daft.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Oiler is Septima's university advisor, and he's going blind. Erwin is leaving Hogwarts and going on to the university. Severus thinks his interest is professional, but you seem to be on to something.Thank you again for the review!
I'm about ready to chuck Severus into the nearest alligator filled canal - oh wait, they don't have alligators in England... well... he's being a total #&@! - but I suppose you know that.Kudos to you for writing a very realistic story - must be difficult to write something about folks who are making so many mistakes - not the happy, fluffy ending we hope for.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
This was a horrible chapter to write. Severus is being his age and all. Both these kids were too young to get themselves into this sort of situation, and they're not going to react beautifully. They'll both grow out of it eventually.Thank you for the lovely reviews today!
Awwwww. I very much feel Septima's anquish.
Response from Rose of the West (Author of Quantum Mechanics)
Yes, she was pretty upset about everything, and she expected so much from Severus. It's one of those situations that stinks for everyone. Thank you for the review!
