What an amazing story ... I can't wait to see where you take it from here. And Severus' concerns about why Lucius never taunted him about that night aside, here's another thought: Draco surely told his father about Hermione's disappearance after that night, so if Lucius was so intent on securing Hermione, why didn't he attempt to track her down? Or was Hermione 'lucky' enough elude him by hiding out in the Muggle world until she gave birth?

I read this on Ashwinder, and it's one of my favorites, so I am reading it again here! I have to say your portrayal of Dumbledore in this story is one of my favorites in any story. And Severus is done well too, even if he is a little tiny bit OOC. I can't wait for the next chapter!

Severus is fabulous at self-torture. I really love the way you used Dumbledore. He felt caring, rather than manipulative. That's a nice way to read him. I hope we get to see a lot of Severus' plan to get revenge on Lucius!!

I really like the added details you have given the story it's just enough to give it a more polished feel. Especially Poppy and Minerva's acknowledgement of the realtionship. The theme of family is coming through quite well. The staff and her friends at Hogwarts will provide Hermione with the extended family that will help sustain Hermione, Severus and Sebastian as they themselves grow into a family.
