I love the way you write unresolved sexual tension.

Ahhhhhhh... such a lovely chapter.  A little monster, indeed.  I wonder, what's become of NT and RL--did they split, or is he somehow kosher with sharing his Nymph with the greasy git?  Perhaps it's don't ask, don't tell.  I wonder, did Hermione dodge out of the room before Snape spotted her, or has she grown up so much since he last saw her (well, her face, anyway) that he didn't recognize her?

This chapter was great-and I loved how you explained how SS and NT got together without being too graphic (although I want to see lots of graphic SS/HG sex! LOL). I am really into this story. I was just wondering and I don't think this will really be in the story it's just my own need for background -but is RW HG's only lover ever? I just have a feeling that HG has had other men not while she's with RW but maybe before which is absolutely fine with me. And SS says that he and NT are not exclusive-is he seeing someone else or maybe several other ladies, and what about Tonks? Does she have other "buddies". I got the feeling that she and KS may have something going. Sorry for all the questions and as I said, all this probably doesn't really impact the story much but I'd love to know. Your story really makes me think! By the way, very interesting and life-like that Severus needs a job. And I also love the fact that Hermione is straying into his mind, as he is into hers. Sometimes you just can't fight it! LOL

Excellent. The way you describe SS and NT getting together makes a lot of sense and it's not really intimate at all. More practical. I can see SS at first being intrigued but it's obvious he's now at the "is that all there is" part. I think he was already there and the incident with HG just helped it along. I can almost sense Tonks feelings here-she's fond of him but I think SS could have been any man, if that makes sense. She was probably lonely wanted some fun, she knows he's a "comrades in arms" etc. Snape is probably the equivalent of an excellent vibrator. In a way maybe he was safer than some other man because she really didn't have "feelings" or "real attraction" for him, so her heart would always be safe with him. You can have good sex with someone and yet, not be particularity attracted to that person, and I don't think Snape is particularly attracted to Tonks, nor Tonks to Snape. LOL Actually "series of one night stands" says it all and I suppose it's pretty sad in a way. Without emotional or intellectual connection, sex alone just isn't enough to sustain a relationship. Maybe for fun but I imagine that after a point the soul wants more. It appears HG is at the same point (with Ron), and as with SS, this incident just brought it to a point. I love how SS really wants HG still although he's shying away from it. She just does it for him. I am really looking forward to when they meet again. You know as much as I also want to see sex between the two, it's going to be fun to watch (assuming it happens) the intellectual and emotional attachment between the two grow. that just makes everything hotter. I can see that if Tonks and Ron find out, Tonks may not care too much, but Ron will have a fit! LOL A wonderful job!

I'm enjoying this story, I only wish the chapters were longer.  Just as it starts getting good, the chapter is over.  I believe the "little monster in her man" is from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. 

*falls over* ... guh. So incredibly hot, it's not even funny. The only issue I'd take with the storyline at all is the extent of a Metamorphmagus's ability ... didn't think they could truly change bodies and very intimate details, but I wholeheartedly support a bit of canon-shafting if it gets us THIS! Oh, and how could anyone EVER mistake Snape for Ron. Eeeew. Snape's so much sexier. Hermione, you little idiot ... maybe she should've realized something in the beginning, but been too (pleasantly) suprised to truly protest. That would give her a manipulative aspect that while not really too in-character, would certainly be more Hermione than her mistaking Snape's silken tones for those of the lowly Weasel.

Oh, my! This is definitely one of the hottest stories I've read in a while. *is dying for the next chapter*

Hey this is a short chapter! Although I did find the back story and all the desperation poinant. Seems like the only thing to do is dump Ron immediately and have more hot sex with Snape. See to it will you?

This story is fab.  Begging for a happy SS/HG ending here fingers crossed, red clothes on but, you're the Goddess who decides of course! Point you touched on in a review-it's so weird the way one person can do it for you while another may be good sexually but not the same. I'll bet that while SS is great in bed, Tonks best orgasm wasn't from him. And SS seemed to enjoy HG far more than he did Tonks, while HG enjoyed SS more than RW. It's more than technique, it's some body chemistry I guess. I think we all have experienced that (one person for whatever reason does it for us). Can't wait to see the HG/SS confortations'going ons and I love the idea it will be lots of SS/HG interaction (will there be sex scenes between SS and other females and HG and other males-OK hoping not but you are the Goddess). I wonder if on some level SS and HG knew it wasn't who they thought? And the ladder idea is really inventive.  Luv the story hon.

Wonderful story. At first I was not too thrilled to read because of the SS/NT thing, but I was hooked totally after the first chapter. I love the way SS and HG are so suited on a primal level, even  though they thought they were with other people. Love the way they are both not really "into" their relationships. HG settled I suppose, and SS probably just doesn't want to get involved in a serious relationship (at least not with Tonks). I find it interesting that appears Tonks has sex with Snape in different forms. I wonder if there's something symbolic in that? Of course it could be variety is the spice of life, but I think it makes the sex more impersonal in a way. I can't really see SS and NT in a relationship but, I can see where they'd have sex . Both seem adventurous and who knows maybe it was SS, Tonks in another form and KS all in a threesome that began it all. Oh wait, never mind that's my fantasy I read where there will be no RW/HG or SS/NT sex scenes (thank you from the bottom of my heart), but I hope we'll get lots of SS/HG sex scenes! Lots! Please with chocolate. . LOL On a serious note, you're writing is amazing and I just wanted to know if you have any rough idea of how long this story will be. Bravo!

Hi there!  I sent a simple review but it didn't seem to make it.  I am hooked and can't wait for more.  I can see how Snape and Tonks may have ended up together -- probably comfort sex after Remus's death and the final battle, which simply led to regular comfor sex.  It doesn't sound like Snape is the least bit emotionally attatched and only marginally attracted to her.  His perspective of the situation in rung one indicates that he is instinctively attracted to something/someone else, who just happens to be Hermione Granger -- everything about her, physically, was a huge turn on for him, as compared to his okay-vanilla sex with Tonks.  Intellectually, of course, SS and HG are better matched, as well as their personalities and termperments so, even if they try to avoid the instinctive attraction at first, their denial will only last so long.  But in both their cases, it brings to the forefront what has been nagging at them all along -- that their current "significant others" just don't do it for them.  I somehow think Snape may fight it longer than Hermione will, but you never know...MORE soon please?  Thank you for this wonderful, new WIP that I have to look forward to every few days.
