Hello. I love reading and writing... what more can I say?

Aha! I thought it must be Bellatrix in that locked room. I am no longer confused then.

It's getting darker, and bit more confusing, but I think I have it straight. The lack of names in each section is making it a bit difficult to follow.

Thanks for the review. I apologise for the lack of clarity in these early chapters--I hadn't quite got it all set, and I wanted that element of shock when the identity of the hulked thing was revealed. I was vague, and I hope that the next chapters are clearer. Thanks for staying with the story :)

Uh-oh... Hermione has a plan, a way of getting around the order.

Thanks for the review. She does indeed, but it may transpire that she doesn't need it.

They seem like the darker brothers of the Fates, or gods on Olympus choosing their favorite or least favored mortal to play with.

The Triumvirate? I hadn't seen it that way, but yes... together, they are a force.

What a brilliant twist on Nagini's venom. I love it!

Thank you for the review. I like the idea too; he is caught up and bound by his own feelings... and how hard are they to sort out?

This story is a real chiller through and through. Is she going to have him chop her body up? Quick, get the food processor!

Thank you again :) We'll see what happens...

Bellatrix is an evil wench. She needs to be chopped up and put into a food processor and served as meat pie.
Response from sweetflag (Author of For Him)
Thanks :) Who'd want to eat her though? But it's an interesting image... but... who would you be turning into minced meat? Hmmm... her, or her host? :D Her body, as it is, wouldn't pass any food hygiene regulations.

It is quite hard to see Severus dying a slow death in his self hatred.

Thanks for the review. He's quite stoic... he could draw it out for years; he's done so for the last eight months at any rate.

This is so good I had to go back reading to find the words of the challenge. And Bella is absolutely scary.

Thank you for the review :D She is, isn't she! And she's only really just begun... *evil grin*

I wonder what Lucius will find in her mind and I wonder even more what will be her reaction after that? Manage occlumency or hex him for violating her privat thoughts without warning...
Response from sweetflag (Author of For Him)
Thank you for the review. Her reaction will have to wait: Bella is up next :D

Call an Exorcist! I tried to imagine how it must be to have Bella creeping around in one's mind. Stopped rather quickly ... Still think you should start writing horror stories. /M

Thank you :) I can't wait for Saturday--this chapter had to be chopped quite ruthlessly so that I wouldn't exceed the limit or put too much in at the end that would seem out of synch.... I'm bouncng around waiting for the next word list! That chapter wasn't as creepy as I thought it would be when I read through it on the site, but thereagain, I know what's coming next :D
Response from morgaine_dulac (Reviewer)
Do I need to stack up on Holy Water before the weekend? ;-)

So Bella has taken possession, so to speak, of one of the male or female employees? Her body is still locked up, right? What is the deal with Lucius? Why is he being so ruthless with Hermione? Does he truly think she will learn this way or is he beyond caring?
Response from sweetflag (Author of For Him)
Thank you for the review. That's right. She has total possession of a male Healer; her body is still locked up and still decaying. I know the answer to the Lucius question... but I can't tell you yet :D. I think that it's safe to tell you that Severus is very important to Lucius. Severus is the key that will unlock his future, so the fact that he is so close to having that dream realised and seeing one of the ones capable of healing Severs start to crumble has upset/angered him. Lucius is so very desperate (think back to his scene with Narcissa regarding the other side-effect of that potion and that he had confessed to desperately trying to rouse Severus before he had had to stop to save himself the pain. Also, the note that he had sent to Draco). He needs Hermione, and he won't let her fear stop him--whether that makes him a bad man or not, we have yet to decide (remember that Hermione will not make use of the counsellors annexed to the Infirmary).Ermm... I hope that clears things up, but I think that it's muddied the waters a bit... sorry :DAny other questions, and I'd be happy to go through the story thus far. Many thanks for reviewing and the stars :)

getting confusing. Bella can walk around? I though only her mind was mobile?
Response from sweetflag (Author of For Him)
Hello
Response from sweetflag (Author of For Him)
, Her mind is the only thing that is moblie; I found it easier to refer to her as 'Bella', 'she', 'her' rather than try to keep highlighting that she was inside the Healer. At the end of the previous chapter, I made reference to the Healer being him and then her, implying that she was inside the Healer... sorry if that came across as confusing. To clarify, I will be referring to her as Bella etc from now on. Thank you for the stars.

Ha, I knew it was Bellatrix! Interesting power she has obtained.

... and thank you again :D It is, and her power becomes more interesting as she learns how to wield it.

Interesting that Lucius would come to her rescue. It will be equally interesting to learn what he finds from his excursion into her memories. Deep affection for the tall, dark, and billowy one perhaps?

OMG! You really don't allow us any time to catch our breath, do you? Tomorrow I'll probably have a dozen questions that I can't think of tonight while I'm vibrating to a stop. Love this story, creepy and suspenseful, who could ask for more?

Do you suppose Lucius is worried not only about Meadowes himself, but as to WHO he killed?
Response from sweetflag (Author of For Him)
Hello
Response from sweetflag (Author of For Him)
,
Hmmm… he could be wondering that. But what about this? Couldn’t he be also concerned over whether it was actually Meadowes who’d done the killing… *evil grin*
I like the description of the house Draco (and Hermione) picked out. I'm quite jealous actually! Something new and roomy. I also have a feeling that Narcissa will soon be teaching Draco how do laundry himself before long! And I wonder what Bella did inside Hermione to make her stomach sore? Is she just feeling the repercussions of the torture, or was there something actually done? Something tells me that Snape's "delusions" are something like a spirit guide. At first it was coming across like it could have been his subconcious, but it seems that the "delusion" is sentient all on its own. Now, the only question is why wouldn't "it" want him for fall asleep??
Response from sweetflag (Author of For Him)
The house came from months of house hunting on my part—I saw plenty of them that I just couldn’t have… not unless I was a witch. Oh… Draco and Lucius will have a struggle—after nearly twenty years, my husband still thinks the washing machine is a convenient worktop.
Hopefully, by now you know what’s inside Hermione’s belly—hope you weren’t eating your dinner *eek*. Sorry if you were.
The delusions are important, as are the ravens. I like ravens.
Thanks so much for all your lovely reviews: hope you carry on enjoying the story.
Please, remind me - even though I have a cast iron stomach when it comes to violence - not to try to eat lunch while I'm reading this story?
Lol! I like how close Draco and Hermione have become. They really do need to lean on each other; and I think as friends, they're really good for each other.
Dear god. I had forgotten about this chapter. It's almost like it is Purgatory for Severus. The only thing that throws me off is his hunger and need for earthly things like warmth. And as I've been rereading, I've been trying to figure out who sent the birds, and why ravens in particular. I still don't know. Bella is going to be a handful to try and stop, by the way.

Hello
Response from sweetflag (Author of For Him)
,Thank you for still reading. I hope the most recent chapter sheds more light on Severus' place and predicament. I always think that the mind is a very strange and powerful place: it can convince us of things that aren't there and make us want things that we don't need. And if I say anything about the birds, the surprise may be ruined.
