Oo, oo, oo! Secretive Hermione. I like how you didn't tell us about her condition until a character actually said something about it. I had a feeling when you mentioned that she was on antibiotics, but then thought I was wrong because it wasn't mentioned (until we saw it through Severus' eyes.) I can't wait to read more, Mystery Author!

Woo Hoo...I got it right! Damn antibiotics... hee... hee... hee. Hum, I wonder if Aunt Cissy set the whole thing up. Something tells me that she could give Severus a good kick in the trousers. I'm happy he wants to be part of the baby's life, but it's so irritating how bossy and arrogant he's being. I hope he gets a wake-up call soon. I can't wait to hear about Serverus’ past.

It was more than obvious that she's pregnant, and he assumed that she'd had no intentions of telling him, so he got defensive. We've seen through Liam that he's a loving father, so he reacted to the situation.

Ironic how Snape is all about control, yet he can't control his own behavior/actions/tongue. He can't do anything right, nor has it registered with him that things aren't all about him. Clueless bastard... but we still like him. I love the way you've written Hermione.

Yep, no doubt about it, he's a twit! Instead of expecting, and voicing, the worst possible possibilities, he should have been engaging in some serious groveling!A little finesse is called for here, but Severus can't seem to get his head around that concept. He just keeps digging the hole deeper and deeper.

Well, I think that Narcissa wery well know of Hermione pregnasy and deliberatly send Snape there. Unfortunatly but expected Snape behave teribly tovard Hermione. He had chanse to make to her by admiting their misbehavior and insensitivity but he scrow up again. I honestly and truly can wait to see how he come to admit and convict Hermione , that he care for her and there for child also. HE DIDN T SAY ONE SINGLE KIND WORD TO HER AND ACT AWFULLY.I hope that she will give him wery dificult time to make up for everything and suffer like she . Regardles I shall be waiting for really lovely weding and happy end.

What else would I equate you with?” What a horrible thing to say!!! He's in deep s**t now!!! He'll play hell getting her to forgive him for those words.

Great Lord! This thing between Hermione and Severus is becoming a mess. They both feel something for each other, but fear and pride will not allow Severus to go there. Silly wizard.At one point Severus is thinking that "He wanted to possess her, own her… belong to her. He wanted them to belong to each other, and that was something he would not tolerate, not after the way things had ended with both Lily and Shannon." Does that mean that he and Shannon had been married but then had divorced? Or that perhaps she had died? Still so many questions roiling around in my mind!!!Great story!!!Beth

I guess what Hermione was feeling was disappointment along with the hurt. She needs to be smarter about this fling, because she can be hurt badly if she isn't.Snape is certainly shy of having his heart broken again. I know what happened between him and Lily, but I can't imagine what happened with Shannon O'Malley. It sounds as though they had a son, Liam, but whether or not they were married I can't know. Did they just break up? Or did she die? So many questions!!! Gotta go to the next chapter!Well done!Beth

Wow! What a way for Hermione to find out about Ron and Lavender. I think she handled it much better than I would have. I like that she didn't want to bring Lavender's name into it for Hugo's and Rose's sakes. There would be nothing of worth to be gained by doing that. Brava for Hermione!Good story. nice little complication. If Severus wants to convince Hermione he truly cares for her, he just hit another wall. (the first one being his own bad and stupid behaviour) Now, even if he acts properly towards her, she will think it is only becasue of the baby, not that he loves her. Wonder if this can eer have a happy ending??? Will keep reading to find out!
