So now he decides to get up close and personal. Why on earth didn't he do that earlier?  He will have to work mighty hard to regain her trust.  Great chapter!

Wow!  Snape is turning around!  Well, good - kids can either unite or divide people.  I hope in this tale, it is a uniting factor - I hate when stories are too sad...  Great chapter!  I loved how Snape made Cissy squirm.

Evil imp!  Now, I’m going to sit around any wonder about Severus’ past.  How am I going to get any work accomplished?  Don’t let her give in too easily.  I think your Hermione’s pretty independent and will protect her baby with claws extended.  I’m wondering how Liam will take this.  After all, he’s been the only one with his dad, and now there’s another baby…update soon! 

I think it was smart of Severus to give himself (and Hermione) some cool down time, although it must have been maddening to Hermione, not knowing what was going on.

I see how she turned the tables on him. She was nervously waiting for a week while he chose his moves and the time to make them. Oh, yes, she has a squeeky protest deep in her throat while he does exactly what he wants. Full control. Bully. There's a dormat Hermione, as plainly described in _your_ words as in Italy.

I'm so happy to see them talking!  hehe I need to appoligize for my last review...I think I went off the end a bit...I hear the words barrister (or lawyer) and parental rights and I immediately associate custody hearing from personal experience ><  To make a long story short, was in an abusive relationship, he finally left (was forced to in order to keep his job), have spent the last year-and-a-half attempting to prove to the courts that I am a good mother and deserve to have at least partial custody of my son or full custody with him having visitation rights at any time he wishes to visit (I told the judge that I in no way shape or form wish to keep his son from him, however due to medical concerns -my son is physically disabled and developmentally delayed- moving him away from his doctors, specialists, and therapists is a bad idea).  He stooped so low as to bring up issues I had when I was a teenager and bring in the state child protective services to attempt to take my son completely away from me, calling it his "parental rights" to have full custody without giving me visitation.  The fight is still going on, and I'm a bit touchy.  Anyway, wanted to appoligize for going off the bend my last review!  Im very happy to see him willing to talk to her, and let her get to know him - and I'm hopeful that he will get to know her better at the same time and maybe learn to trust her.Really great story, and awsome chapter!  Can't wait to read more!

Yeah, right! "I'll handle things in my own way" as if that ever got him anywhere with Hermione. What an ass! Throwing a temper tantrum because he wasn't told something that wasn't Narcissa's business to tell. Keeping out of his business would not have made him aware Hermione was pregnant. He just wanted to be pissed because he was unable to control Hermione the way he wanted.I don't trust this "willing to bare my soul" Severus. I'll have to wait and see. Interesting though!

Damn it...would you stop that (cliffie's suck)  I was just getting ready to hear Severus' story.  Please, pretty please have the next chapter up right away, please *begging on both knees, puppy dog eyes*

yay! -.- lol my only qualm, i think, is that if i had written this story, lav and ron would be dead and hermione would have gone to the dark side...o.o with anakin...>.> ~shrug~ or she'd have at least turned bitter and sad for a whileotherwise....YAY AWESOME CHAPTER!

Thank you so much for the update. I am glad Severus made the first step to let Hermione know him better, I would have hated it if you had made her do it. That said, I hope you will let Hermione differ sharply between letting Severus be a part of the childs life and her life. He have the rigth to show him self as a worthy father, and he probably will be, even if she is the childs mother. He has already shown him self as a lousy human being in relation to her though, and I hope you won't let her forget it anytime soon. His actions, no matter the motivation, is still so close to unforgivable to me, I have problems with accepting him as a decent human being. I do hope, deep down, that he will be able to make amends, but I don't want it to be easy for him. He treated her worse than dirt benith his shoes and I don't want her to forget it. Hermione don't only have the child in her belly to consider, she has two other children too, she owes it to them not to let them see their mother be treated, and accept being treated, like Severus has done to her. I do admit that some of the fault is hers, she should have cut all connection after their first encounter, since he from the very first time treated her like a worthless whore. But, she did "smart" up and leave in the end, please let her keep that dignity from now on

I should be sleeping but got the alert that a new chappie of this was posted. It was worth losing sleep for. That was an evil place to stop though, I hope we don't have to wait too long for the next one. It should be quite interesting!

Wow, this is almost like a HG/DM fic I've been working on, granted, the prompt is pretty easy to copy, but lol, you even picked the same "other woman."  And no, I'm not saying that you copied me (haven't even put it on the web) XDI like where you're going.  Can't wait to get to the other chapters and see what happens next.

I'm still not sure he can completely redeem himself.  But we shall see.

Wow!  That is NOT what I expected!!!  Are we going to get Rose & Hugo's opinions on the pregnancy?  What about Ron?  Or is he not a concern (I know he is with Lav but...)  Really great chapter!  Glad to see the update!

Good grief, those two need a mediator!  Ginny, maybe could do it.  She would be able to keep them both in line and not let her emotions over run her. 

Oh wow, totally wasn't expecting that. Hopefully he finally get to chance to Hermione, though it still may take awhile to work everything out completely. I  hope Hermione gets to meet Liam soon, I'd love to see that.

Oh my gosh, You have woven this and twisted it around and then strangled it! I really feel for Hermione and Severus is acting like a prime A jerk! If  he'd only been civil - but he isn't, is he?  I loved Harry's meddling and fussing over her. Took him long enough to catch one though. Can't wait to see what you do next!
