Reviews for Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One)
Well the ending should be the beginning.
I enjoyed it evry much.
Emjoying the littel looks and the occassional thoughts of Severus.
I like her last statement to Snape its nice :)
Very interesting. Love Disneyland and Walt Disney.
LOL look forward to more of this story
Interesting start to the story.
What a great theory of mis-use of magic!
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thanks again. It would be nice to think we had an excuse for buying useless soveniers. LOL.
I loved the portkey idea, I wonder if Hermione's attendence will be traced back to the Potters? Will they be in danger too?
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thank you! I've had a lot of compliments on the idea of jewelry portkeys.
The dress sounds lovely and you did a good job of describing things in this chapter.
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thanks. I always notice when authors describe such details, so I wanted to do the same.
Interesting way to begin a relationship. I guess Severus hasn't stopped spying yet lol.
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Yes, Severus is up to a bit of spying. It's reluctantly though. Thanks again for your comments.
again a very interesting back story. You are doing a wonderful job giving this story a good bit of meat to bite into.
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thanks. My biggest self-critism of this story was that it lacked the depth I would have like it to have. So your comment means a lot.
I love the back story, how creative!
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thanks again. I do think Walt Disney makes a perfect wizard. He certainly brought a lot of magic to life for us muggles.
I have a feeling the Potters will be quite surprised to find out Hermione being quite truthful about their old professor.
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Yes indeed!
Nice interaction between our favorite couple! Even better Hermione had the last word.
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thanks. Yes, Hermione was quite proud to get one up on Snape.
The magic definition was really good. You are doing a great job 'blending in' the two worlds.
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thank you yet again. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I like Ginny's idea. It's perfect!
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thank you. I had another reader object to the idea as elitist, seeing as advance quidditch training would create yet another area muggle borns would not have the opportunity to experience. To me it seemed like a good nitch for Ginny. Plus in my reading it seemed like most pure-bloods, or other kids growing up in the wizarding world, were supposed to be home schooled. If so it seems that pre-Hogwarts education/activities outside the home were few and far between.
Good flow in the chapter, never a dull moment.

Thanks. Any positive input on my writing style/stucture thrills me as a very novice writer.

I've been reading your comments as I go along and I noticed that your regret was this story wasn't as 'deep' as you wanted it to be. Not all stories have to be 'deep' to be enjoyable, in fact, sometime I pick stories that are light and fluffy because they are so. I take it this is your first story? You did a great job. My first was The Bridge, it was 513 agonizing words long. I am now working on my first multi chapter story. Just the fact that you wereconfident and skilled enough to do a long story first run out says a lot. Don't be hard on yourself, this is a fine accomlishment.
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Awww, you've made my day again! Thanks for your words of encouragement.
Nice start, a lighthearted chapter, too bad Hermione doesn't know what shw wants to do though. I alwasys thought she was the type with a 'plan'.
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thank you for this and all your lovely reviews. I do agree about Hermione. It probably wasn't true to character, but it helped me establish her being in a bit of a personal life crisis and needing a change.
Just o touch of sinister implications in this chapter. This story is quite well rounded and developed.
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
You are too kind with your compliments, but I'll take them anyway!
Awww how sweet. I love the beginings of a romance, so careful with their words and actions.....
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thanks again. I always think Snape would be pretty awkward in such situations, and I can't imagine Hermione being too brave around him at first.
This is a cute story
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thank you.
I knew those souvenir shops at Disneyland had a conspiracy going to make you buy! :)
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
LOL! That was one of my favorite ideas for the story. Makes sense doesn't it?
Haha... I still have to giggle when I think of Walt Disney alive and kicking as a wizard.
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Thanks! I did have fun with that and making Eisner an evil wizard. LOL.
Oh, Severus got to play the hero for Hermione, even if it was his fault she was in trouble. But she has such an adventurous soul that I am sure she didn't mind!
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
Yes, it was his fault. Good thing he had some tricks up his sleeve.
I've often wondered why they didn't have portkey jewelry in canon. Glad to see you had the same idea. How sensible of you! This is a charming story, a fresh look at SSHG.
Response from blackeyedlily (Author of Hermione's Cinderella Adventure (Or a Facsimile of One))
That's cool you thought jewelry would make good portkeys. I don't think I had really thought it out until I needed a way for them to escape. Then it just seemed to work. I'm glad you are enjoying the story.
