Excellent chapter! Hermione now has a bit more insight into the mystery that is Severus Snape. I know there is going to be a lot of angst, but Hermione thrives on challenge and I do believe the reward will be well worth the extra work!

I am quite curious as to what happens next. Angst fest? ah man... I feel that he cares for her, not Ron (so I hope anyway) lol I love that Harry and he got on with each other. I am anxiously awaiting the next section. Cheers.

I've enjoyed this chapter. I'm glad that Harry would approve of Snape. I wonder what it is about Lupin. Does he have another lover? Has he killed one in the past? I certainly hope she thinks things through and decides to not wed him. Blah. There's something funky about him. Great chapter. I am so happy that Snape loves her.

Dearest, I don't know if you still read your reviews, but I have been MESMERIZED in my re-read of this story. I adored it all those years ago, but I find it just as riveting today. Somehow, you make Remus (though annoying) heartbreaking and Severus a very complex personality. No wonder we were all on the edge of our seats throughout the story. Brava!

You know... *looks thoughtful*... I don't think I've ever read fan fic that started with a letter exchange before! Thumbs up!

I must say that I love your story, and am trying to be patient waiting for an update. (PLEASE UPDATE NOW!  Did I mention that patience is not one of my virtues?)  I do wish Hermione will wise up soon though, even though from reading your responses to other peoples reviews, it makes me very pessimistic about the whole thing.  You got me fearing that she will either be a stubborn idiot and marry Remus, or if she does marry Snape it will be only to find out afterward that he doesn't love her and is only doing it because of his life debt with Ron.  I am now torn, between wanting an update to find out what happens, and fearing an update to find out what happens.  Either way, please put me out of my misery soon.

Hurry up and get on with it... ever time i read it i get new hope she will break it off with remus and take severus, but you keep smashing that hope and it hurts my brain when you do that... it makes me feel horrible so i beg of you to stop giving me these horrible feelings of hopes ruined and please bring hermione and severus together soon... other then that its a good story... evil but good... it will be given more stars when severus and hermione get together and you stop toyin with the readers...lol

More!!! NOW!!! Please? That was just not enough... I nead more... seriously though, I think it's an excellent chapter! Her conversation with Remus. I felt so bad for him. And then Severus. I still haven't quite figured him out. How could he let her go off and marry remus when he loves her so much, without at least telling her honestly how he feels? Nevermind... I forgot for a moment... This is Severus weare talking about... I don't do very good when I write him.. I never can get him snarky enough.. But now, Lucius Malfoy... I think I can get to the depth of his emotion well... LOL... sorry... You are doing a fantastic job!
