Right. I would like to state, for the record, that I WILL finish "She Married Her Choice". I will. Assuming I am in control of my own destiny and accomplishments, that is. ;-)
Unfortunately, real life (mainly an attention craving three-year-old) and inspiration have been keeping me from creative endeavors for a while now. I do foresee a time when that shall pass, but until then, I ask for your patience.

Where to begin? Let's see. Hermione annoyed me again. She practically begged Lupin to marry her and is blind. Then, I was completely disappointed that she slept with him. I said to myself, "To hell with it. Let her stay with him and be miserable."
Upon reading through it a second time, I was more forgiving of her slip into hoochville (I only say this b/c I'm an admitted Snapehead.) since I saw that she was sort of drawn to him because of that spell. Even after that though, she still didn't take the chance to take off. Let's hope she starts rethinking.
And what's with Lupin? Yes, go shag other men, so long as it's not Snape... Why not? lol.... That's unfair. He upset b/c he "smelled" how aroused Snape had her when he was "abusing" her against the wall?
hehe.... Good chapter, dear. *fingers crossed for next one*

Hermione is being annoying, but it's possible that the spell is more pervasive (or is it invasive?) than even Remus realizes. It will take some serious convincing for her to reconsider, but she does have will power.
As for Lupin, there are so many reasons he could have for saying that, but I'm leaving that open to interpretation.
I think you'll probably not like the next one, as well, but the end is nigh, so there's always hope.

Of course I don't want to kill you. The potion you unknowingly ingested is slow acting. The antidote is impregnated into the keys of your keyboard, and will be released as you type the update, absorbed through your fingertips. I'm sure will will see the next chapter up very soon, hmm?

Don't worry, it's not fatal, it just makes you increasingly attractive to rabid plot bunnies
First of all, I would have beat Ginny and Harry's asses for bursting into my room with professors. Pests. And Hermione here. Oh, good Lord. She acts like Snape lost control and tried to spank her. Rough sex, anyone? Apparently not for her or it will deem him "abusive."
He lost control, Ginny! Yawn.... oh oor pitiful Hermione. Maybe she should be with Remus. lol.. I read through most of this thinking Hermione was thick for not really listening to Ginny. Remus is a bad choice. Period.
You know, cheating does suck, but she's acting like she and Remus have been seriously dating for a while and in love. She has the nerve to give Snape the what for when Remus will never be faithful to her, nor has he been. She's acting like horrible, mean, old Snape planned to seduce her purposely. Hell, it was a spur of the moment thing. Besides, she's been on his mind longer than she's been on Remus'.
Then the whole snitching to Dumbledore. I guess I'm just a mean girl, but she seems to be exaggerating things. (Going back to read the previous chapter again. I was certain it wasn't all that bad.)
The end, when he's asking for forgiveness, and she's being a brat... grrr... lol... I hate a "weak" Snape where his "fate" lies in her hands... or Harrys (ahahha...).
Maybe she should choose Remus at that. Surely there is a woman about that Snape can find.
On a happy, note, great chapter, dear. Your writing gets better and better. I love that it was long. This is in no way a flame. I still like your story and will continue reading, hoping something gives. I guess I'm too much of a Snapehead. If she can't deal with that, yeah, the weaker of the two would suit her.

LOL!!! My dear, the fact that you are railing about my characters thrills me! Yes, hermione is being, shall we say, stupid? And even though she has her excuses (the main one being she's 18, and in over her head enotionally), she really is being a twit about this. I agree. If she ends up marrying Remus she deserves everything she'll get.
As for Snape, I disagree. He's not weak, nor does his fate rest in Hermione or Harry's hands. He's a devious bastard! He's slowly figuring out the best way to win Hermione over, although why he's bothering, I can't say. (yet)
And remember, this is a parody of sorts. All in good humor, right? 
Well, the "weak" bit... She thinks he is. What was it she said? Oh, he would have to end up dealing with Harry...? ahahaha My mouth dropped open. ~snicker~ I hate that she thinks he's weak is what I meant I think. LoL!
I wonder if he really does only want her because of his life debt to Ron. Haha... makes me wonder what he's going to ask of her. lmao
oo, oo...this was great...I love the interaction between Snape and Hermione here at the end. The explanations that Hermione gives are well thought out and well written. I am thoroughly enjoying this story and am very emotionally involved in it. Please keep up the good work and update again SOON!

The latest stuff of In Annulo is currently found at my Mobsite, MoITWF at YahooGroups. RestrictedSection.org has most of what the Mobsite has, and will soon have more. And you'd better update faster than once a week, and you'd better aim for a Happy Ending™, and you'd better be wearing an asbestos suit if you don't!

That was just so good. My chest constricted when Snape and Hermione were having their conversation and he let her see what he was really feeling. You did well describing the raw emotion that emanated from Snape during that scene. I so look forward to the next chapter!!

Ack! I have to wait four whole chapters! What am I going to do?! Oh well, I'll just have to sit back and wait, and enjoy the suspense!

It will be interesting how Snape will manover around the parents... Will he get them to be on his side of her marrying him? Will it slip that Remus' heart belongs to another and by the way he's a werewolf..
Are we going to hear about Snape & McGongell's conferences with Albus..
Since Hermione owes Snape a life debt why doesn't he just do the caveman thing and demand her to marry him.
Will we found out where Remus' true love husband is or doing?
Did Sev intend for her parents to see him before Remus? Was it his intention to show the future in laws that he can be apologetic? Also did he know they were standing there when hermione was talking with him?
Will Hermione's Mum tell her the situation was different than with the "aunt".
Oh my I'm so full of questions tonight. To bad I don't have $20,000 to pay you. i think i'm getting that confused. oh well.

Yes... and it will be interesting how the parents maneuver around Snape. He's not the only devious one. Answers are coming. Next chapter will have a few. THe only ones that aren't answered in this story are the ones where Hermione is not involved in the scene at all, such as Snape and Minerva's talks with Albus, and whether or not Snape intended for her parents to see him. Those, I'll leave up to you (until I write out Snape's POV) Cheers!

I just love this story, and this chapter in particular. You have a knack for making storylines and situations play out realistically (well, as realistically as is possible in a story with witches, wizards and werewolves ;-) ) Your also great at describing the lemony bits, which i always look forward to, lol *blush* Cant wait for another update!

ARGH!!!!! I can't stand it... I want so badly to know what is going on in Severus' head! What is he thinking? How can he be able to walk away??? He knows Hermione is making a mistake, but instead of working to help her change her mind, the git keeps pushing her away!!! I'm going nuts! PLEASE update soon! Ouch! That's a pretty serious threat, Lady! If it makes you feel any better, this was the pivotal chapter. We're more than halfway through and there's more clearing up than messing up for the rest of the story (not that they don't mess up anymore, because, well, what would the fun of that be?) I did warn you that it would be an angst fest, though.

What she needs to do is just tell him flat-out, "If you love me, then you would SHOW me that you love me! Then I would know! But if you don't show me, then I don't know, and I will not marry you! All I know right now is that I see a man who very clearly doesn't love me, doesn't care for me, doesn't care about me--so why should I marry you? I at least get two of those things with Remus!" I must admit to being disappointed, but that's only because I still have no idea how the hell he feels about her really. Oh, it's apparent he desires her or that her words combined with what happened made him act the way he did.
Hermione should think about what she's saying. She's going on about love, but she's interfering with Lupin's love. If that woman is finally free, then they might eventually get together (not if he's stuck with a wife he doesn't love though).
I have hopes that Snape will finally say what she wants to hear, or close to it, but this last chapter left me with fading hope. It looks like the ruddy werewolf is going to get the girl. Blah... hehe... Not that I have anything against Remus... I dunno. Just my thinking.

If you need an infusion of hope, let me tell you that the story is just over the halfway mark. There's still time for Hermione to realize what exactly she's getting into. Next chapter reveals a bit more of what's going on with Snape, and what marrying Remus really entails.

Where to start...? lol... Harry is so very protective. In earlier chapters, he seemed okay with Snape, and now, he seems to have changed. I feel badly for Snape because it appears to have been an accident, and she accuses him of rape... lol.. such a filthy word, eh? ah well.... On another note, I'm quite curious to see if things can be reversed. Will she slip into his mind and "rape" him? What bond do they have? This have something to do with his Ron promise? lol (so inquiring)

Harry's very protective, especially of Hermione especially after the war. He hated having Snape in his mind for Occlumeny, so I imagine he's also venting a little about that. Hermione was very upset (and yes, it is a truly filthy word). Would it really be good for their "relationship" if she imposed herself on him? It will be explained later on. I promise. Cheers!

Ah yes... what little girl doesn't want to marry her caustic, ugly, old-enough-to-be-her-father teacher? Hermione, of course! But, then, you're right that she shouldn't be running about in woods with a red hood, either. Super glad to see you're back and that you and yours are okay.
OH, heck! I was almost sitting on the edge of my seat wondering if Snape would confess his affections to Hermione. The next thing I know, the chapter ends, and she still doesn't know anything! Drat drat and double drat!!! More soon! Update... Yesterday if it were possible!
