Hermione's week is going from bad to worse when she's forced to make a choice. My take (and slight parody) of the Marriage Law Challenge.

Right. I would like to state, for the record, that I WILL finish "She Married Her Choice". I will. Assuming I am in control of my own destiny and accomplishments, that is. ;-)
Unfortunately, real life (mainly an attention craving three-year-old) and inspiration have been keeping me from creative endeavors for a while now. I do foresee a time when that shall pass, but until then, I ask for your patience.
Thank you!
Reviews for Marry a Choice
The best choice is always a better prospect than the second best.
I'm glad she didn't choose George. Any of the Weasley brothers would be to painful, I would think.
Talk about putting your audience through the wringer! Last second reprieve, yay!
heheehe. "I am here merely as a counsel, of sorts." Little does he know!
oh man...you killed off ron....i am quite intrigued.
Though Hermione frustrated the hell out of me on many an occasion, I really enjoyed the story and I'll have to go and read the sequel.
Just love how you have kept Hermione in character! Most MLC have her portrayed as a wimp! Well done!
I really like your take on the marriage law challenge!
“Remus, you may eat your bride.”*ROFL* I laughed till I cried! It just took me so off guard! Lovely line and wonderful story!
Brilliant, absolutley bloody brilliant :)

THank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
wonderful story....i really enjoyed it. (swoons over snape)
Great story! I was intranced and read it all at one sitting. Of course now I'll be up all night doing my homework, since I completely didn't do and read instead! lol
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
Thank you! Sorry about the homework, though. Hope your grades didn't suffer!
What happened to Sev? o.o
and who is Minnie?
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
He died. He lived quite a long time, though. Minnie is their daughter.
Ah, that was highly enjoyable!
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
Oh, I'm glad. Thank you for reading (and reviewing!)
Oh God! That is so friggin romantic! Off to read the sequel. Live long and prosper, Titania
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
Thanks!
How bittersweet, yet realistic... I like Hermione's question regarding whether she used the best spell... who said that a peaceful life is the best (or the most condusive for passion...)
Imagine Harry and Ginny having a grandson that is worse than Percy and the Minister of Magic!!!
BTW... How old is Minerva!!!
I just had a thought for a sequel bringing in Kingsley and his voice... what if, after learning the truth about her faulty charm work and of course, assuming that Severus is dead (of old age)... Hermione gets her hands on another time turner and doesn't make the same mistake with her charmed parchment... and lived her life again, with a twist, as you can't bring back someone who is already dead...
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
I can imagine that after living through a war, she would have been eager to live peacefully, but yeah...
Minerva is about 100-ish, I think. Thereabouts, anyway.
Thanks for reviewing!
I've been waiting for this story to be complete before I started reading. I started reading it this morning and couldn't stop! I'm very glad that things worked out in the end. There were some great lines for everyone in this.
I had a suspicion that the Minerva mentioned in the epilogue was Hermione's daughter. Though it took reading the reviews until it was confirmed.
Thank you so very much for sharing this story with us. ~Clara

Thanks for reading (and I don't blame you one bit for waiting)! I'm glad you liked it.
I've been enjoying this from the beginning - well done and thanks for sharing a wonderful story.

Thank you very much! I'm glad you liked it.
You're evil... playing with us until I felt that every avenue was exhausted.... it was great... right down to his proposal and asking Remus to be his best man... I sure hope that you are planning the sequel... By the way, you never explained the hints that someone was with Hermione throughout the day... the movement she thought she saw in Minerva's room, the feeling that someone came with her through the door into the common room... I felt that it was Snape, either with an invisibility cloak on or some kind of invisibility charm...
Thanks for the most enjoyable story... As to your Author Note... it may have been quite interesting if the rich voice had been Kingsley's, especially if this was just part way through the story and we could see what happens with them... (I am shocked that I feel this way, being a die-hard Severus/Hermione fan...)
Now, I'm off to read the epilogue...
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
mwahahaha! Yeah, I'm evil, but you got your happy ending, right?
You are absolutely correct that I didn't explore the hints. I have come to the conclusion that this is a never ending story, as I am writing (close to done) Snape's POV, where it might be explained more fully. THat or in the sequel. Speaking of which, it's longer than I expected (nowhere near finished and already 8000 words), and then, and then, and then... ! Sheesh. I'm thinking it will only have these three parts to it, though, and really, the sequel is separate only because of sexual content and rating issues, otherwise it's the same story, so there's only two parts... (rambling will stop now).
I am also tempted to write the Kingsley ending, just because I would like to see where that would end up (and how Severus would take it!)
Maybe I'll leave that to someone else, though.
Thanks for the reviews!
Thank you for a wonderful story. I like the epilogue of this story. Letters between friends. Looking for future stories from you. Patty

You're welcome! Thank you for all the wonderful reviews! Cheers.
Wonderful ending. Great job Avery!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
That was lovely although I would have hexed AD but good. Tell me did they ever have any kids of their own?
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
Right, that settles it; I wasn't clear enough. Minerva was their daughter (check date of letters). And who says she didn't hex Dumbledore? hehehe. Thank you for the reviews!
A wonderful story...I thoroughly enjoyed reading all of it...Thank you for taking the time to "put pen to paper" to provide us HG/SS junkies an excellent fix...Congrats on a job well done!!
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
Thank you. I am really glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful tale, Avery!! I love the way you made the point that a successful marriage is work. (And if there was no underlying theme, then I just read that into it, don't mind me.) *grin* Excellent job, and I can't wait for your next one!
GG
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
Thank you! Yeah, I did put that theme in there, but really, what relationship with Snape wouldn't be work? She's just lucky he loved her.
Thank you for that brief glimpse. That is all very sweet. I like that Severus wasn't truly a perfect match for her, but they fell in-love and were happy. Sad that he's dead before Minerva, though. Minerva is well over 35 yrs older than him. Are you still planning a sequel???
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
Maybe I wasn't clear enough in the story. Minnie is Hermione and Snape's daughter. Snape lived to a ripe old age (something like 140 or so). Yes, I'm going to be working on the sequel right after I finish answering these lovely reviews. Thanks!
Response from GinnyW (Reviewer)
I totally missed that one! LOL! Then again, I read rather quickly. ;-) I'll look through again, you may have been clear, sorry.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
You're not the only one, so I went and changed it a little to (hopefully) read a little clearer. lol. Let me know if it's still unclear!
