Hermione's week is going from bad to worse when she's forced to make a choice. My take (and slight parody) of the Marriage Law Challenge.

Right. I would like to state, for the record, that I WILL finish "She Married Her Choice". I will. Assuming I am in control of my own destiny and accomplishments, that is. ;-)
Unfortunately, real life (mainly an attention craving three-year-old) and inspiration have been keeping me from creative endeavors for a while now. I do foresee a time when that shall pass, but until then, I ask for your patience.
Thank you!

ROFL what a wonderful proposal!
Hmm. What to do?
There's still still time to change her mind yet.
'E's up to summat, the ole codger!
I just came across this story again and re-read it. It occurs to me that even though Hermione made a mistake with the charm, perhaps it was for the best in the long run. Hermione is clearly someone who not only thrives on but needs a challenge (which is probably one of the reasons why she was Sorted into Gryffindor rather than Ravenclaw) -- and while there's no question that Kingsley is a very intelligent man (supported by the fact that he became a top Auror and then Minister of Magic), I'm not certain that Hermione would have found it truly fulfilling to be in a relationship which was too easy.
I am leaving a review of an unseen story in the hopes that I may read said story. I am 50 years old.

I hope you managed to read the story in question.
The letter format is very clever. You had my undivided attention from the beginning. I love the beginning and cannot wait for more!

I'll confess that the rest of the story is more traditional in it's approach, so maybe not so clever really... Thank you! More soon.
Yes, I will go mad before this ends. Can't wait to read the next chapter tho!
AGGG!! Snape you FOOL! yeah yeah, nobody ever said he wasn't a fool. I'm driven mad by this roller coaster! I'm also loving it and can't wait to read the next chapter. Excellent!
That was fun. Excellent story so far!
well done. I'm okay with an angst fest. Snape is his own worst enemy. Silly man. Do Slytherins ever HAVE real relationships? Skirting around issues and pretending to hate what they love. It is crazy-making. I am loving this story, though. I'm looking forward to more of Snape's confused emotions!
LOL. Oh my god, I love it.
Okay. I'm holding my knives at bay. Just because I'm almost at the end. I have been absolutely loving this fic until Hermione and Remus....I can't even say it. You have a lot of making up to do! ;)
I've been reading this once again and still love it! Slytherin men are not a easy choice, but at least she knew it.Harry being a menace on a broom "these days" -- that simply hilarious!
I absoutely loved your story! I'd say one of the best MLC's (: This is going on my rec's list... once I've made it, that is. :P

Well thank you! I know there are some great MLC's out there, so I'm very flattered. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Lovely, lovely story. I so enjoyed Severus' proposal and his subsequent request of Remus.
Just curious, is there a reason you didn't put this last letter exchange up on Ashwinder? That's where I originally read this story, so I was just wondering. Although it's nice to know that my suspicions about those interview parchements were right; she DID do it wrong! Heh. Goes to show that magic isn't everything, eh? I think knowing how their life together ends will make "She Married Her Choice" even more fascinating to read, as you continue to tell us how Hermoine and Severus waded their way through life together. :)

oops...this was supposed to be for Chapter 15.
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
Oops. I meant to delete the epilogue from all the sites... :-D I haven't posted the epilogue on Ashwinder because it does kind of kill the tension of the sequel... Although, now that I think about it, you're right. Everyone knows (or assumes) they'll end up together happily ever after (more or less), it's just the how they get to that point that's supposed to be interesting.
Thank you so much!
Response from Sporky1126 (Reviewer)
Yeah, I guess in one sense, it does kill the tension (sort of like flipping to the end of a book before reading it), but even if you know the end, the middle is still interesting. And so far, SMHC has been wonderful. :)
Oh I wish you had made the rich voice Kingsley. I almost fell off my chair laughing just at the idea of it. I did like reading your story, even if Severus gets the girl ;-). What is it about the Potions Master that is so beguiling? Thanks for your time and effort you have put into this piece. I have just started to write and now know how difficult it is to write anything near the target of good. Is your name avery or is it just somthing you like?
Response from averygoodun (Author of Marry a Choice)
Well, if I had made it Kingsley, I wouldn't have had the chance to write the sequel, but... yeah. Actually, what I really wanted to write was Kingsley being the rich voice, then Snape coming in and being, "But, but... That was MY line!" and being all petulant. And, perhaps I will go back and rewrite the end sometime.
Avery is just my pen name, although I have no idea why I chose it. It just popped into my head one day.
Good luck with your writing!
