I have completed my Master's of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and want to focus on serving the LGBTQIA community and the Alt/Kink/Poly communities in my work. I used to be a poker tournament director and floorperson at the world famous Binion's Gambling Hall in downtown Las Vegas. Before that, I was high school Spanish and Theatre teacher. I am happily married and (thankfully) have NO kids. Oh, my lord, Severus was hilarious how he went about getting the ring! Man, I'm still laughing. Congtatualtions on a smoothly executed chapter of rushing us through the N.E.W.Ts! I loved the way you made it flow. Can't wait for the proposal.

Umm. I LOVE POTO, and I know all the words to the main songs. (the CD is in my car, my 7 yr old daughter and I listen to it every day and watch the movie often). So, I reckon I know just when he will do it. ;)

What a way to make a sick person feel better! An update on my favorite story!! I don't even know where to start. The ring is breathtaking, and I am in perfect agreement with Snape that the traditional diamond isn't suitable for Hermione.I loved how obsessive he was at finding the perfect ring, and I can picture the relief on his face at finally obtaining it. Another excellent chapter. I cannot wait to see what you have in store for the proposal.Hermione's job offer is a little concerning (in my opinion). I hope nothing bad or complicated comes from it. Our lovely couple has suffered enough. But I guess if something bad/complicated does come from it I'll live as long as they eventually get their happily ever after.I'm looking forward to the next chapter, and I'm wishing everything works out for you in the RL world as well. Oh my god. I'm soooo on the edge of my seat! Oh if ever a time machine needed to be invented, it's now!!!That ring is so beautiful, and I really hope that everything with Severus's proposal goes well... oh no... please tell me his proposal is not going to affect her position in the role that Hermione has been offered!?!?!?!?!Are you that cruel? I really can't tell anymore... although I think you are more cruel to us readers than you are to Severus and Hermione. Which is a good thing. My fingers are crossed both for them and for you RL and plot bunnies to allow you to continue on with the next chapter!

YAY!!!! HE BOUGHT A RING!! I hope he gives it to her during the performance! That would be so awesome! I wonder, though, if Hermione's job offer is going to interfere in some way... I hope not! To say that I am trilled to see the update will once again be the underestiment of the year! Your story still holds me in awe, and each chapter remainds me of just why I love it:-) The ring was beautiful, and even more so with the garnet Severus wanted I am sure, I can't wait to "see" Hermione receiving it. Do I dare hope for her getting it in the next chapter?

So, hopefully you won't waste away too much... I skipped class last night and ended up with almost 3000 words already into the next chapter. LOL ;)
Severus was so sweet and frantic about the ring. I looked at the picture and I think it is lovely. The Celtic knots give it the magical/historical touch and I believe a garnet, as described, would suit the ring. I hope Hermione says "yes" or Severus will be a devastated and broken wizard.

...By the way, if anyone has been wondering why I review as a cat, all good authors have a pet cat (part Kneazle at the very least) helping to oversee their writing. *purrrpurrrpurrrrrrrr*~Lotm(On rare occasion, an Author's Familiar might take the form of a dog or some other animal companion, but often it's a cat. The most touching part of this chapter for me was your description of Professor Snape having to revert back to his patient, long-suffering days as a spy in order to deal with this new aspect of his relationship with Hermione. It about broke my heart!
