I'm glad Hermione has told her friends, but not sure what Severus is up to, although it does seem dangerous.  I hope Lucius is dealt with once and for all.  too bad Hermione didn't erase those items on her list instead of just crossing them off; if Severus finds the list, he might easily think that she fully explored his chest and did something more to Lucius.  Lucius is too willing to kill Severus and Hermione!

I am trilled to see the update, and I will never abonden this story, I just have to see it through!
I am not sure I can be as forgiving as Hermione with regards to Severus though, I still think that he has betrayed her to much to reach his own goals. Then again, it is your Hermione who will have to live with her choices so if she finds that his actions is acceptable, I guess I will have to accept it. But, if she has any brain she will demand a unbreakable vowe for him to tell her the complete truth and to never, ever, no matter what, will use her like this again. Not to mention letting him know that if he ever again, for whatever reason, talk about her the way he does to Lucius (I still find it unforgivable), she will leave him faster than he can say "for the better good" and he will never get another chance to hurt her again.

Oh, I would never drop a good story like this, you know... And I will be glad to see any updates you can manage, now that the plot seems to thicken once again.

Apart from that, I wish you all the courage and luck you can get for your RL projects. I'm sure it is worth it!

Slow updates are better than no updates.  I was happy to see the new post and as usual was  not disapointed.  I hope you recover quickly. 

Oh, I'm in for the long haul!  Interesting. The letters spoke volumes and Ron's reaction was so typical. It'll be intresting once we see all of them together.

I have you as one of my favorite authors and this story is on my favorites also.  I have not given up on this story.  I love how I am still guessing on which way this story is going.  Great chapter.  Please update soon.

Good update -- Glad to hear you are recovering!  I hope Ron and Lucius don't cause too much delay in Severus' and Hermione's reunion!

I was glad to see the little notice in my inbox.  I didn't start this story until it was a little farther in, and I got SUCKED in :)

Can't wait to see what happens next and which side of Severus is the real side.

Hey Southern, best of luck with everything  and I'm here patiently waiting for the updates.  This has to be one of your best!

First off, updates are always wonderful, no matter how long the delay. Secondly, I hope you are feeling better.  Now to the chapter, there are a  lot of things happening all at once-- is Snape arranging all this or is it just happening? Hermione must have picked up on some evil traits hanging out with former Deatheaters, that dream was pretty awful, interesting to read though.  Will Snape go to Hermione, or will he wait for her to come to him?

I'm glad that we've gotten to go down memory lane to see how things developed, but I'm looking forward to going back to the current timeline to see how things progress and whether Snape and Hermione can reach an understanding.

So much of their later relationship falls into place with the
flashbacks.  And apart from the danger that would have
faced Hermione had she been subjected to Legilimens
by the wrong person, it's as well she obliterated her
memories of her relationship with Snape, or otherwise she
could never have gone back to Ron.  Not in a fit.

I really like the flash-backs.  Glad he confided in her before they got too far into their relationship. 
One of my favorite lines in this chappie was: Crabbe’s caught the common room on fire again. 
And one of my favorite scenes is right after she wakes up.

Well, Severus tried to keep himself from Hermione. Hermione seems torn between the feelings Severus has awaken in her and guilt in what she thinks she is expected to feel for Ron.

Awwwww how sad!  I was getting so happy and upset by the time I got to the end of this chapter.  I was so happy that they found eachother in a wonderfully romantic way but I was sad knowing what's going to end up happening.  And how he was unloading on Hermione, at least it was awesome thinking that he actually had someone to share the pain with.  I can't believe the flashbacks are done!  Please update again soon.  Much Love ~ Brena

Southern ~ I know I mentioned previously that I loved these flashback chapters, but this one was great.  I especially loved Severus saying that he's "Quite capable of handling you myself" or "handling himself".  I would be quite happy to handle him also.  Hehehe  Wonderful Update.  Much Love ~ Brena

That was truly a lovely and exciting chapter.  There was so much in it that I liked, I'm not quite sure where to start.  Well, just take my word for it.  I am really glad he's confinding in her.  Of course, she won't remember it for a long time.
