Teenage Severus Snape and Lily find a room in the castle with a partially hidden staircase that leads them up to a private room at the top of a tower that even the Marauders don't know about.
Then twenty years later, Hermione Granger finds the room. Suddenly she’s confronted by Severus Snape, who’s always considered tower room to be his own private little nook, finds herself not only under the rooms spell, but must now meet the conditions of the room with the one professor that has always been her biggest enigma.

I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.
“Imagination does not become great until human beings, given the courage and the strength, use it to create.”― Maria Montessori
“Our imagination flies -- we are its shadow on the earth.”― Vladimir Nabokov
“Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions.”― Albert Einstein
“Imagination will often carry us to worlds that never were, but without it we go nowhere.” ― Carl Sagan

I'm so impatient and hope they learn wtf is going on soon. :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
I am getting there. It's been hinted at a few times already.
I'm so glad snape's showing restraint, especially since hermione's unable to fight it
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Potions - it's called potions. And they are both trying to restrain, him more than her though.
Really confusing about the tower room, her slipping in while with the boys and not snape
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
I'll clear that p but I can't right now. It has to do with the 'meant to be together' part... You'll see (unless you can guess! hint - Sorting Hat)
good art, epseically hg/ss. At this point in the story, I'm getting tired of the smut and wishing for more plot. :)
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
I'm typing in both, and yes, more plot and history and a few couples from long past...

Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Aw, that's so sweet of you, thank you. *blushes*Thank you for reading along and the sweet review.
AAAAuuuuggghhhhhh!!! So much in there, so much to process!! I loved it though. I know I've said it before, but I really admire your choice to place the events of the nineties and seventies along side one another. The poor man has been through the ringer. Amazing!!!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
I'm glad. Yes, it's a whole new world - and I am not going to follow canon too closely now.It is fun typing both 17 and 37, actually it's now 18 and 38 year old Severus and develope him from both ends. Yes, he has been through a lot - but in the end, he still kept his sanity. Thank you for the review, I appreciate it.
Wow, awesome chapter. I really hope that they can get back together now!!!! Great work, please update again soon!!
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
I am just getting through her school year - next and we'll see what happens after. Teehehehe You aught to know me by now! geeze... No, he goes slinking off into the night - not!Thank you for the review.
All this time Snape has been at the Malfoys without contacting Hermione? She thinks he is avoiding her. What a dilemma.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Severus really thought that he'd be sent to Azkaban for his crimes, since all Deather Eater's were. He didn't want to go there again - ever. Things will turn upwards! Have faith in me.Thank you for the review.
Talk about being railroaded into being a Death Eater. It looks like there are only two options, become a Death Eater or become a target. As for the present day battle, Harry was surprisingly eloquent. Severus keeps thinking he is dying. I hope he is wrong.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Worse - Death Eater or the death of you and your family! Family first.Yes, Harry's had practice talking in front of people, the DA. interviews... So he knows how to say what he wants.Severus was dealing with having toxic venom in his bloodstream that affected his nerves and muscles, he was slipping in and out of unconsciousness. He's all better now.Thank you for the review.
Snape's options are nil right before the battle since he followed Dumbledore's instructions. The guy never gets a break it seems. As for the past, Snape is wrapped up in wishful thinking that Lily will return to him. So sad.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Nope, he was a pawn, a tool and a means to an end, regardsless that Dumbledore did come to care about him. And the Dark Lord used him too. Hard life to live.ANd he held onto that hope for twenty years, partly due to the enchantment of the tower room. So sad.Thank you for the review.
Always the dramatic one, isn't he?Will he be willing to give Hermione a chance, or is he going to go all noble and insist she needs someone else?
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Well, you know, a little drama spices up life once and a while.Oh, you can't expect me to answer that question now, do you?
Not long-winded at all. I like the fact that you tend to resolve and round out scenes instead of ending each chapter with a cliffhanger. Too many people overuse that particular device when their stories are interesting enough as they stand to keep me coming back.I'm enjoying your realistic postwar descriptions of everyone's lives and the flashbacks that show Severus' motivations versus what everyone in the present day thinks they are. This has been a really enjoyable tale with a unique premise and it feels like it is coming to an end soon, which makes me both happy and sad.Good update and happy writing!~

Thank you very much. I do use ebil cliffies, frequently I use cliffies, but yes, I think it's not good to use them all the time. Besides, I needed this chapter to move things froward a long time span, to get to the good stuff...Thanks, yes, well not everone comes out of a war celebrating. I've known too many Vets and their suffering. Besides, just as Severus had for twenty years, Hermione is also feeling the regret brought on by rejection in the tower room - the enchantments.I'm so glad that you are enjoying this story. Yes, we are winding down, but not there yet.Thank you so much for the review.
Ooh. I'm so glad I finally got around to reading this! I'm really intrigued by it - the room, the spells, the feelings Hermione and Severus have developed for each other outside of the tower and its spells... very curious to see how this will continue.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you very much. I'm glad you've found me and are enjoying the read.
I really love the sudden nned and passion that goes into their kisses and other interactions. I'm hoping they have feelings for each other outside of all the enchantments. Something they could distinguish as being separate from the spells. I also like reading your Lily. She's well-written.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. If you compare the two relationships (well three actually Lily/Severus, the GreyLady/the Bloody Baron and Hermione/Snape - you'll have your answer!) Yes, Hermioen and Severus do seem to feel more of the attraction beyond the tower walls... just as Lily isn't as affectionate really. so maybe... Then again why does Severus feel he needs to give them all those potions to leave off thier feelings...
Such a lovely tale. Thank you for sharing it with the rest of us.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
You are very welcome, doll. Tahnk you for reading and for the review.
I think avoidance will only take them so far. They are drawn to the tower even while fighting the compulsion. Great work.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. Yes, they are and all three of them actually.
As if either of them could stay away , the enchantment is too strong.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
They will be able to resist, fight against it with will power, but yes, the enchantments are strong, and the desire to be in the room is there as well as the desire to be with each other.
What makes a curse a bad thing? Is it the intention? Is it the outcome? Is it still called a curse if either of those are good? Either way this story is a piece of magic.
Response from beaweasley2 (Author of The Enchanted Tower Room)
Thank you. It's a curse based upon the interpertation of the one effected - Snape would consider teh spells to be a curse, Hermione sees them as enchantments, and Lily isn't really pondering (or caring) about the spells of the tower (she has other problems on her mind) ANd Yes, outcome - but I'll get to that later...
