Years after Voldemort is destroyed, Hermione struggles to have the life she has always wanted. **Note: This story is on haitus. It isn't abandoned; I simply have no idea when it will be continued.

Reviews for Strega Letteraria
Poor Hermione! So sad to see her alone, without any friends to share her burdens with. But who is the stranger? What are his intentions? Seems a bit shifty to me. Can't wait to see what happens next. More soon, hopefully... Cheers!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes, I do feel sorry for Hermione. I relate to her way too much, and I think I write in a lot of myself into her character sometimes.
As for the Stranger, *snicker* you'll have to wait and see. But I can say that I like that you picked up on his shiftiness.
I have enjoyed being plunged into this story. I looked back at the reviews and saw the word that had popped into my mind. Intrigued. Apparently, I'm not alone. If I didn't have my to do list staring at me I might open a thesarus, but intrigued will have to do for today.
Looking forward to where ever you are taking us!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you, and I hope you enjoy where I eventually take you!
What an intriguing start! I feel quite badly for her, worrying about losing her business. I imagine it's hard to run a bookshop in Hogsmeade, though. The students already have their books, the faculty mostly come down on Hogsmeade weekends if at all, and it doesn't seem like a very large town of locals.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Exactly. I think she had a good idea, but she just needs to figure out how to make it work.
Hmmm.....very promising start!

Thank you very much – I hope you continue to like the rest!
OOOOoooooooo! A mystery!!! I love it!!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you!
Oh jeez, don't make me bawl my eyes out at the thought of Hermione losing her bookshop/all that she's worked so hard for. And what seems to be her only hold on the life she has always wanted.
And I'm also guessing the stranger is Severus, but one never knows. It might even be Draco. :P
Looking forward to reading more, so I hope RL isn't too hectic, and allows you to keep on writing! :)
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
There will be regular updates of this story. I'm not finished writing, but I have a number of chapters already finished. I didn't want to keep the readers waiting.
And, yes, the Stranger could be anything, but that is one of the mysteries that will eventually play out!
Oh, I love her bookshop, although, even in such places, I'm not fondof dust :D
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
*lol* I always imagined Hermione in love with old things, shelves of books that have been untouched in while, waiting to be rediscovered.
I'm glad you liked the shop. I like it too.
Intriguing beginning, and I have a feeling more mysteries will be revealed. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Oh, yes, definitely more mysteries will be revealed!
Looking forward to the next chapter.

Thanks!
Interesting start, maybe Hermione should try to get school books and supplies in her shop too she might get more business. Maybe some fancy teas, coffee and biscotti as well. Persoanlly I'm not in favor of dust. You have my curiosity aroused and I am already forming theories of who it may be. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Mm-hmm... you know, I've already written quite a few chapters, and you'll see how she deals with her business woes.
wondering about the Stranger (feeling it's Snape). Why is Hermione's lovely bookstore NOT pulling in cash, since she doesn't have money for groceries, clothes, etc.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I got inspiration for her business troubles from my own life. You know, sometimes business is just slow and it gets rather difficult to pay the bills. It's just life. But you'll see how things progress....
Hmmm... the beginning intrigues me! I am looking forward to where ever you are taking us on this ride! GG
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thanks, and I'm looking forward to posting more!
am guessing the stranger is severus
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Am thinking I'm not gonna tell ya – have to wait and see. ;)
Response from harrypotterfan2005 (Reviewer)
i hope this Original Character is not someone that hermione or severus is going to be sleeping. i hate those kind of Original Character in hermione and severus stories.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
No fear, dear. I solemny swear not to have an original character mess around with either Hermione or Severus! No, let's see ... I only put that because there are a few minor characters that I had to create every now and then to help the story along. (I heard that audible sigh of relief!)
I am intrigued!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Good, I'm glad. I hope you enjoy what comes next.
Liked the first chapter. Looking forward to more chapters.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Glad you liked it. Thanks!
I want to go to her bookstore! I'd go every day! Maybe neutral colors rather than Gryffindor ones would have worked better, huh? Anyway, I'm interested to see who's after her and why. I'm assuming it's Severus looking after her but you could just be messing with us. ;) Thanks for your work!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I have been known to do some messing with my readers. *smirk*
Hm, I'm quite intrigued! I'm inclined to guess that our Stranger is Severus (this being, after all, a Potions Under Duress story) and especially in light of the second-to-last paragraph with its vague suggestions of Snape's ability to read thoughts.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Ah, well. I didn't intend to say that he was reading her thoughts/memories. But as I look at it, it certainly sounds that way, doesn't it? Hmmm... but I sort of like that aspect to it at the same time, that it could in fact be read that way. Thank you for pointing that one out!
Oh my, another story to look forward to :)
I wonder why the business is doing so badly?
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes, another story to look forward to! I'm actually very excited about this one, as it will be a multi-chaptered story with an actual plot!
Whew! What a apine-tingling start to your fic! I am thoroughly intrigued! I can't wait to see where you are going to go with this.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you! Spine-tingling you say? I'm really happy you thought so!
Excellent update. I'm quite enjoying the Stranger and wonder why her business is doing so badly. You'd think being near a school she'd have business: students, staff, others, and locals.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Ah, maybe they should teach Business With a Wand 101 at Hogwarts, eh?
I like the Stranger too. The Stranger is my favorite character.
Mystery, intrigue...can hardly wait until your next chapter!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed the first chapter.
Severus would rather see what's under the lingerie. He really was a great spy. LOTM is the first writer that I had ever read in fanfics. She got me hooked. I thank her for that.Tamara
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
LOTM is indeed a wonderful writer. I look to her for inspiration. And whatever she writes, fanfiction or not, is definitely worth reading.
What a story! ~~Tamara~~
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thanks! I hope it continues to be so likeable!
YES Knew It! Whatcha gonna do now Severus?Tamara
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Well, he did need to show up sometime! Can you imagine the disappointment if he didn't?
Well, well, well, S. to the rescue. What will Hermione do now?Tamara
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
When you said that, I imagined him with a large S emblazoned on his chest. "Here he comes to save the day!"
