Years after Voldemort is destroyed, Hermione struggles to have the life she has always wanted. **Note: This story is on haitus. It isn't abandoned; I simply have no idea when it will be continued.

Reviews for Strega Letteraria
I feel like a Dementor when I do this, sucking out all the joy and happiness ... but, there is a minor mistake.
Draco, as Burke, speaking to HG: " But he sounded distracted, and it came out sounded more perfunctory than sympathetic. " The seconded 'sounded' should be soungING.
The story is really picking up. It was a little boring to begin with... sort of like watching grass grow; man standing in dark watching lady shuffle books. But now all the little bits that were more are coming together and makes me want to know more of what will be happening.

Yikes! Thanks for catching that typo. In fact, I had to read it twice right now to see it. *facepalm*
It is a different experience starting out a story with pieces of a puzzle, letting readers see a piece at a time. It's not until it starts looking like something that it gets interesting.
Hmm, I'm surprised she didn't recognize his cane. Perhaps she was just in shock. Good chapter!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I would say that if Hermione was thinking at all clearly at this point, something would be wrong with her. What a shock to have an attempt made on one's life!
Reduced to a pick-pocketing bum. Seems so fitting.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
He deserves it, I think.
Hmm, we learn a bit more about the Stranger. Very nice.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Little by little, the Stranger comes to the forefront!
Draco, the same conniving ferret as always. Stupid cliffhanger. That doesn't mean I don't like it, though. :D
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Well, at least you have the next chapter waiting for you!
Hahaha, Malfoy still lives with his mother.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
That made me laugh!
Argh! She destroyed the evidence so she can't prove what happened. Logical Hermione should have notified the aurors. She's got someone trying to do her harm and that's more important than keeping her pregnancy a secret.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
True. But it's strange how the hormones of pregnancy muddle with one's logic.
Oh no. Silly old eyes. Good chapter. I have to say I wasn't expecting that between Harry and Hermione, even if they were drunk.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I wasn't expecting it either! *lol* But real life certainly has a way of throwing curve balls.
Wow, a snape/hermione fic where Harry isn't a total prat. There's still time, I guess. Good chapter!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes, I thought I'd keep Harry more of a nice guy this time. ;)
Creepy. A stalker-stranger. At least there will be some excitement in Hermione's life.Great first chapter! Very interesting.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Oh, yes. She'll definitely have some excitement!
So Severus has matured...I never had thought he would handle Hermione's pregnancy so well after knowing who the father is. And Hermione must be clever enough to put one and one togheter and identify the mysterious stranger as the man who earlier bought the potions textbook. He should have glamoured the cane! I am curious if she also puts two and two together and combine the slender hands of that man with the voice of the stranger and their knowledge of potions.. After reading again all previous chapters I am also glad all kind of possibilties for a happy ending are in a very subtle way glooming at the edge of your story: Snape wants to save her and the baby, Hermione was under the imperius and has not really killed Lucius. But I suppose (and expect :-) it will be a bumpy ride before we get there..
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Life really is a series of bumpy rides. There'd be no excitement otherwise! ;)
You have a flair for the dramatic -- I'm enjoying your writing style as much as I am the vivid plotting. I do agree with "The Stranger", that it's disappointing that someone as smart as Hermione is hadn't thought of precautions. It would have been suitably tragic had she lost the child, but on the other hand, this allows the Stranger to be heroic. I wonder how long it will be until she realizes that The Stranger is the same fellow who was requesting the seventh-year potions book? Interesting that the limp is not a dramatic affectation. There are plenty of interesting details here, that's for sure.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
A flair for the dramatic ... I like that. I have started to feel as though my chapters are rather episodic. More like a soap opera than a story. *lol*
eeps..... that was too close a call! severus can't be there all the time, and surely even he must sleep. can't he tell hermione who he is? scary!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Well, it's a good thing that Draco sleeps too ... or maybe just a little over-confident in his plans.
I am loving this story! Oh please don't let her lose her shop!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Hmm... I'll think about it! *smirk*
Waiting for an update on this story is definitely worth it! I can't wait to find out what's going to happen next.marti
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I'm happy you think so—Thanks!
hmmmm. Poor Hermione. At least she has a friend like Ginny to keep her from constant depression. And of course Sever--I mean the Stranger. Great chapter.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Hehe ... yeah, the Stranger. (As if no one has guessed already.)
That was good. Poor Hermione.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thanks! Yeah, poor Hermione is right. But good thing she has someone looking out for her.
This is getting even more interesting. I loved the glimpses into Lucius's and Narcissa's life.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you. I think I enjoy writing those the best so far.
I do believe that since 5 months have passed since ze last update a new one is in order! WOOHOO, I agree with the last persons review on being able to create little scenarios for all of them & i also am looking forward very much to Harry getting his arse kicked by karma, the ungrateful little sod
I only started reading this the other day & I love it!
Keep up the good work!!
Did not expect Snape to come up with a cover story like THAT! I still say Hemrione could save her business if she started giving Wizards lessons in computer literacy. And possibly a course in how to survive a trip to the Muggle World, as Muggle Studies seems to have left Arthur without tan understanding of batteries, electricity, and the telephone.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
No kidding.
Hmmmmmmmm.......she must recognize those hands as Snape's......that is who the stranger has to be ( even though you have not revealed that ). The story is coming along nicely, can't wait to see Harry's reaction to being a father. if she tells him. Oh man, and what will Ginny do? Keep up the great work.

Thank you. At least we saw more of the Stranger this time. There will be more of him now as things get rolling along.
can't wait to find out more. The suspense is tearing me up.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Glad you like the story! Thank you!
I like this slowly developing story. Can't wait for more of the slow development ;-)
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you. I hope you enjoy the further slow-developing of the story!
I think The Stranger is up for a few surprises. I wonder what he's going to do/think once he figures out she's been knocked-up. I loved that he's bugging her; she'll never know it--for a while at least. Thanks for the chapter!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yeah, that was kind of sneaky, wasn't it? Kind of Slytherin too, come to think of it.
Successful implantation of one "bug." I think Severus is going to be upset when he finds out that Hermione is pregnant, and since he has been observing her for so long he will know that the father is Potter--a double whammy.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
A double whammy is right. I hope he's mature enough to handle it!
