Years after Voldemort is destroyed, Hermione struggles to have the life she has always wanted. **Note: This story is on haitus. It isn't abandoned; I simply have no idea when it will be continued.

Reviews for Strega Letteraria
Uh-oh...I have a sense of foreboding. The apothecary's mistake suggests that Hermione is not only going to wind up with a memento of her little encounter with Harry, but possibly not be able to remember how she got into that state! This can't be good...
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Well, this Memory Potion doesn't make one forget, but enhances memory. I have a feeling Hermione won't notice a thing, though, since we all know how good her memory is. If anything, maybe it'll remind her not to play with Harry.
Oh dear. We are in trouble! Well, maybe this way Hermione will 'remember' not to mess with the engaged Harry anymore. Rather cavalier of both of them [the morning after,] to at least not regret the fact that Harry's to be married in a month. Doesn't say much for his loyalty to or feelings for Ginerva!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yeah, maybe the Memory Potion will help her remember not to play with "taken" boys, is right.
Just thought I'd point out ... he's not engaged to Ginny. He's engaged to the Minister's daughter. I'd say that Harry's not too thrilled about it, though.
Muahaha, what a twist! Can't wait for the next chapter!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Hey there! Glad you liked my twist. There's a few in this story, just to keep it interesting. *snicker*
Ooops. Wrong potion.
What a cliffie!! Fabulous! I'll be on the edge of my seat til you update again!
I'm enjoying this a great deal - you are showing your depth as an author here. Love it!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yeah. Oops is right. Pretty scary that an apothecary can make a mistake like that, isn't it?
i thought you where not going to have hermione detail sex scenes with anyone but severus bad girl bad girl and have her cheat with harry known that he is getting married in a month that is even more wrong. weather your drunk or not it is still wrong. it would crush me to know that man i was going marry had sex with his female best friend. the wedding would be off am with my ex that i was for 8 yrs but if had ever cheated on me during the time we where togther i found now it would hurt a little. do not think i would be reading this story again rember just because i stopped reading does not mean you have to stop writing it.
Response from harrypotterfan2005 (Reviewer)
just for little guess i seen this on soaps all the time am sure hermione will get pregnant and not know if it is harry's or severus's scine the potion was not a moring after one. and am sure who ever harry is marring is not going to be a happy person. like i said the frist i would be pissed. i do not know how anyone can forgive some for cheating my best friend forgave her boyfriend the 3 times he did. it is one stike and your out with me. and like is said before this is the last chapter am reading not only because of the deatil sex scene she had with harry. but the cheating part to.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Oh, hpf, you must have been really bothered by the cheating thing to have made an addition to your review. I'm so sorry for that. I do feel rotten that you were this bothered. On the other hand, if I did make you feel this bothered, then I must have written a pretty powerful chapter.
You are right. It IS wrong, even if you are drunk. I do so agree with you. One thing I wanted to portray in this story is real life. Sometimes I think we readers get lulled into an HP fantasy world, and real life is taken out of the equation. Things like this happen all the time in real life, and I wanted my characters to be a part of that.
If it is any consolation, this is the ONLY time there will be infidelity shown in this story, and the ONLY time she will have that kind of contact with Harry. Harry was a bad boy. Hermione was a bad girl, for sure. It is unforgiveable. There will be consequences, believe me.
I am nearly 40, and I've seen a lot of instances of cheating in my life. I used to feel more adamant about it than I do now. Maybe I'm a little jaded. This chapter was not easy to write. I don't particularly "go for" HP/HG, but it is instrumental to the story as the story progresses, due to the consequences.
I feel bad that you won't read anymore due to this one scene. (Sorry again!) I know how you must be feeling, so I do understand. Perhaps ... oh, I don't know, Tutoring Session is more your cup of tea? I do need to update that one, don't I?
Response from harrypotterfan2005 (Reviewer)
Tutoring Session i like that one so far. am picky about my hermione and severus stories. i like my hermione and severus stories where they only have detail sex scenes with each other for it is worth you are a powerful writer. i have a story on aff that shows severus getting rape by a female death eater. and that is something you never hear about in the news. what did you think of my friend taking her boyfriend back the 3 times he cheated on her.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I think if you take someone back once, that's understandable. People make mistakes, and may be really sorry, and it is entirely possible that he/she would never do it again. But if it happens a second time? The guy (girl, whomever does the cheating) should be history. Gone. A repeat cheater is always a cheater, I've discovered. A leopard doesn't change his spots, unless he wants to trick someone into thinking he has....
More...who is the stalker? Hmmm> ;DTrouble brewing for Harry?
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Stalker? Hehehe. You'll have to wait to find out. (Next installment coming soon.)
I am really enjoying this story.Sweet, Cozy and Intriguing
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I'm very happy that you are liking it. I like the 'sweet' and 'cozy' bit. I am trying to establish a certain atmosphere.
Oh, I was hoping for more Stranger! ;-) I want to know who he is! Glad for Harry though! Wonder if he really wants to get married? Can't wait for more!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Oh, there'll be more Stranger definitely. No worries there. ;)
Very interesting start! I like the background given first! On to chapter two!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you, Christy. I concentrated this time on setting things up more, developing characters and situations.
I love the way Harry and Hermione are portrayed here. :) Great work. I can also understand how she feels about Ron. I do hope her business improves.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
*lol* I read the review before I took note of the reviewer. *snicker* I can't say anything else or I'd be giving it all away.
(Back to work.)
I can't decide which chapter ended more ominously. I like how you've started the first two chapters mundanely enough, and then twist it around at the end. Gosh I hope that doesn't make me a masochist
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Well, there is a lot to tell. There's a bit of mystery, a bit of angst, a bit of fun hopefully... I just hope you like the next chapter.
Hermione is so lonely and she is right that no one would notice right away if something happened to her. I'm sure her friends, who have someone in their lives, do not realize how she feels. I assume the watcher is Snape, but whether he is there to learn her routine to speak with her alone or to do her harm I do not know. I'll be waiting to find out more.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I'm happy you'll be waiting to find out more. Everything you want to know will be answered in due time.
Well, maybe Harry's presence will boost her business. I know I'm fixated on the bookshop's sucess, but Hermione never fails at anything. Story is good even if I am propably annoying you with my fixation. Lol.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Being fixated is not a bad thing. Hermione is a little fixated herself on her bookshop's success.
As always, you have me absolutely hooked by the end of the first paragraph of any story. I absolutely love that you're no longer 'ignoring' the HBP happenings *grin*, I knew you'd write one eventually that takes that one into consideration, and I simply can't wait to read the entire story.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
This is true. I am paying attention to HBP and trying to also use my Divination skills to take into consideration what may happen in Deathly Hallows. God knows I have no idea what that may be ... and no theories ... but I'm trying!
I like the way you've caught us up on what's going on with everyone without breaking away from the main story, and I love the Harry-Hermione banter. Eerie note to end it on.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Eerie? Just wait until the next chapter. You may just change your mind about that adjective.
Oh my, Is Snape back? Is he in trouble, and needs Hermione's help to prove his innocents?? And will HArry go through with the ceremony...WOW!!! More soon Please!!! I love it!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I'm happy you love it. Hopefully all of those questions will be answered for you!
Excellent, excellent! More, please!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you! My beta and I are working on the second installment right now. There'll be more very soon.
Very good start. I would love to see the rest so keep it up.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you. More will be coming soon!
