Reviews for Strega Letteraria
Evil, plotting Malfoys. Interesting twist.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Evil, plotting Malfoys are just so much fun to write. I couldn't resist.
ooh, they're both sick!! I hope the Aurors and Severus catch Draco and his mum soon. They know Hermione is innocent, yet they still blame her for Lucius' actions. Hmm, I wonder if Severus would be able to sniff the potioned muffins if he sees them at Hermione's shop... Thanks for the new chapter!!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
June ... I don't want to give anything away, but are you sure you're not a Seer?
Draco confused by the iPod just made my evening!
Hmmm, I thought he'd be aiming for blackmail of some kind. I'm very curious to see whether this plan succeeds, fails, or what!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
It was very easy for me to write that iPod scene. I've seen how they look, but I'd have to do some serious playing around with one to figure it out. That is just one area of techology I haven't explored yet, to my immense shame.
Response from firefly124 (Reviewer)
Shame? Hell, those things are pricey! Even my little knock-off was nearly $100. And no, they're really not the most intuitive things ever invented.
Oh. This does not look good for Hermione. But I'm wondering what The Stranger will do. Will he step in...Hmmm. This is getting curiouser and curiouser. I can't tell who's more out of it--Draco or Narcissa. I guess time will tell. Thanks for the update!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
The Stranger will begin to play more of a part very soon. ;) Hang in there!
very interesting story! am looking forward to more.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
And more there will be soon. Glad you like it!
You give the combination of words 'cliffhanger' and 'evil' a completely new level of meanings. Salatious discordance. I feel just like Hermione - I'm bursting with questions. How come Draco is so adamant about revenging his father if Hermione cast the highly unwilling Killing Curse under his control? Is he reverting the hate from the actual guilty party (his father) onto the actual victim (Hermione), because hating his own father is more painful than staying in denial of his father's intentions? Wouldn't Hermione be a logical person to contact if they wanted to move Lucius's cure on? She might be able to provide details about the curse no one else has. Where would Snape fit into this strange equation you just cast? I trust in you as an author to disentangle this for us, but knowing that there is a solution only makes the cliffhanger more vicious. So, I imagine - Draco will confront Hermione (unlimitted amount of violence), she will talk herself out of it (with Stranger's nudging), and strive to wake Lucius up for her sake as well as for Malfoys' (with Stranger/Snape).
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I will disentangle all of this for you, don't worry.
I truly think that the Malfoys (both Draco and Narcissa) are in mourning for their husband/father and their way of life. When people are in mourning, they are not very rational. Plus, it has always been one of Draco's more endearing qualities to take out his frustrations on a "Mudblood".
great chapter. A little background on the Malfoys was needed. Looking forward to more.Truly
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Writing about the Malfoys is almost like a treat. It's always fun, no matter how terrible they're being.
Wait. If Draco knows what made Hermione do it, what in his tiny little mind makes him think that further vengance is required? Wasn't Hermione chosen because her sense of morality would punish her for the deed?As for Hermione, I wonder if she figured out how much money she could make teaching purebloods how to use the internet, and perhaps use other Muggle technologies, such as the 'fellytone.' The look on Draco's face as she gave him payment for the idea, or a discount, or something, would be absolutely priceless, and make one long for Colin's camera.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Remember, Lucius was the one who chose Hermione, so his reasons are not Draco's. I think Draco just finds solace in hurting a Mudblood.
Truly, that is a good idea about making money off purebloods, but most purebloods shun Muggle technology, thinking it inferior, so I'm not sure that would work ... unfortunately for Hermione.
How like Draco to blame Hermione for something that happened while she was under Imperius. Sigh.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes, I thought it was rather in-character for Draco to behave this way too. For as much as I love to read about a kinder, softer Draco, I do love to write him more as I think he truly is.
Oh dear! Just what I suspected, Draco knows the truth about Hermione. How will he harm her? *bites nails* ;)Looking forward to the next chapter. Cheers!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
One thing I can say right now is never trust a Malfoy.
Argggghhhh!! Evil cliffie! No fair! Seriously though, this story just gets better as it goes along. I am now completely addicted. I am really getting curious about this curse on Lucius and what Draco's revenge plan is. I am hoping it is more like public humiliation rather than something drastic. I would hate for her to lose her baby. Keep up the good work. I love the way you have characterized Draco and Narcissa. Just the way I imagine them being after Voldemort's downfall.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
My evil plot ... to get readers addicted!
How? *whimpers* I need to know, so I can sleep *wails*
I don't need to tell you I love all of your stories, you know that already, but I do need to say that this is the best so far, and I'm simply dying to read more, more more more more... Okay, I'll stop now.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I'm glad you think this is the best so far. I wanted to do something like this as a challenge to myself before the seventh book came out, and I wanted to do the best I could. Thank you!
wait a minute, is draco seriously insane?? severus told him that lucius used the imperius on hermione - that hermione didn't want to cast the killing curse on lucius. and narcissa knows it too, but she still wants revenge on hermione as well?? hs severus figured out what draco wants? yipes!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I think people in mourning don't think to sanely. (Okay, I know that for a fact.) They are mourning both the loss of a father/husband and a way of life. I don't feel sorry for them though. *smirk* I can this chapter did its job!
Draco is being eviel,I love it when he does that!but this chapter makes me wonder,is Severus the one who is watching Hermione?
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Ah, ha. Well, that will be answered soon!
Oh such a twisty little soap opera. :D
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes, I am rather enjoying the soap-opery feel to this.
Oh my. I wonder what Hermione thinks happened, or did it have some effect on her too? A scheming Draco is a scary Draco. You realize you're completely evil leaving it there, right?
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yup. I've been told I'm evil before ... and am quite proud of it. *smirk*
Oh man, Lucius had the whole death scenario set up using Hermione. That is disgustingly brilliant. But Snape is a good guy, right? Don't disappoint me now.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
(I'll try very hard not to disappoint.)
oh crap...Oh poor Hermione, she is in trouble now. What will happen now? Oh you do know how to write a evil cliffy of doom.
Love it so far and enjoying it...not the evil cliffy though. That is just evil.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes, see, I chose this emoticon especially for me. *smirk*
Response from snapedreamer (Reviewer)
"GET THE EVIL ONE!"
I can't help but feel bad for Narcissa. And evil Draco--man I can't wait top see what diabolical plot he has hatched! Great job.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
evil, diabolical ... There'll be more of the Malicious Malfoys soon.
intersting and intriguing. i look forward to further updates
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you very much. The next chapter will be forthcoming very soon. :)
I have been following your story, but I am not sure if I left a review. It is very interesting and certainly a plausible post war senario. I feel so for Hermione, the odd one out among her coupled friends, finally having her dream career and seeming to be failing at it, snatching love where she can find it eventhough that person belongs to someone else, and punishing herself afterwards from the guilt she feels. Then life deals her the blow of being a single expectant mother of her friend's child, keeping this great secret by lying, and she is broke to boot. Now Malfoy is after her. I hope Snape is protecting her, but his life situation cannot be that much better--hiding his identity, etc. Hermione is so happy when she is helping a customer, the rest is so depressing. I wonder how accepting the community will be having an unwed mother among them.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thanks for the review. I'm glad you are liking it so far!
Draco was an unexpected twist--and he strongly suspects she's pregnant. Things that make you want to go Hmmm. Thanks for the update!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
It certainly makes me go 'Hmmm'. *lol*
This is a very engrossing tale, but when is Snape going to be part of the unfolding events?
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Soon, don't worry. But if I told you exactly, it would give away some of the mystery.
I'm horribly excited! Where will this story go?You are not a writer, but an evil torturer in disguise...By the way: I simply love all the storielines concerning book-searches :)
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Very true, an evil torturer in disguise indeed.
Oh dear! what trouble is our draco going to stir up for us now? I wonder when the stranger will reveal himself?
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
All in good time...
