Years after Voldemort is destroyed, Hermione struggles to have the life she has always wanted. **Note: This story is on haitus. It isn't abandoned; I simply have no idea when it will be continued.

This is a great read - Severus is like her guardian angel.I loved the latest.

Yes, guardian angel. I rather like that.

This chapter made me want to cry from the pure evil of it. Them blaming Hermione for something that was not even her fault. It was a good chapter.

Thanks. I'm glad that the evilness of Draco is showing through.

Ouuu there were two delicious bits of back story alluded too that I want to know more about! The house elf barracks? Id buy an elf from there any day. And the Minister attending to Mama Snape before she died? What was that all about?
Has Draco always been this angry? I cant tell if he is getting worse or if I need to reread! Thank you for the update.

LoL ... I actually had to go back and see what you were talking about. You know, since there is no church or priests mentioned in HP (at least not to my knowledge, I might have missed something), I thought it possible and perhaps even necessary for someone to give 'last rites' to the dying. Hence, I picked the Minister of Magic.
I like the elf barracks myself. Gives good elves who would otherwise not have a place to work a home. And it allows wizards and witches of lesser wealth to be able to afford one. True, they do need a bit of training, but they're like a blank slate and in the long run will fit in with the family better. Too bad the Malfoys are so pompous and particular. I hope they give Crispy a chance.

It's back! I'm so glad. I'm really enjoying this story, and I'm anxious to see how everything is going to play out.

Thank you so much for the update!!! I have you on my "NUFF"-list, but you managed to submit a new chapter before I got to nag you for one:-))I love your story and I hope I won't have to wait so long for the next update:-))

*sheepish grin* Well, I did have other readers nudge me forcefully. Real Life has settled down a bit, and I think my involuntary hiatus from writing is at an end. Sorry to make you wait so long!

Oh my gosh - what is everyone going to due - Hermione is expecting and the father of the baby just got married to someone else without knowing she was - I have to keep going just to read what a tangle web that your are weaving.

Oh no - this can't be happening - Harry getting married and Hermione taking a memory potion instead of the morning after..... I am on pins and needles.I love it!!!

most of the mysterious elements have been revealed and yet the storyline itself is no less compelling (if not more so...)keep it coming - just love it
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Well, I'm really glad you think so. Thank you. And I like how you say "most" of the mysterious elements. There are still a couple things left to be uncovered!

Intersting insight to the workings of the malfoy's

The Malfoys are always an interesting bunch to explore. I think I favor them above all others. *adjusts Slytherin crest on robes*

Ugh!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I've been waiting, albiet impatiently, for an update. But, instead of satisfying my hunger, it's only made it stronger. ~

Welcome back, I've missed your updates! Great chapter with lots of interesting tid-bits.

"Welcome back," indeed. I feel like I've been away, strangely enough. Time to get back into the swing of things.

This story is so powerful and sad. I really wish I could go and fix everyone.

Life is a bit like that, isn't it? There's always something that doesn't go quite right, decisions that should have been made differently, and so on. You can only hope that in the end, things will turn out all right.

So Severus is motivated (at least partially) by guilt. Interesting. I would not have thought him capable. Scratch that last--I've read books 1-7--he is indeed capable of not only feeling but trying to amend his guilt. Great capture of Severus' character! Thanks for the update. Cheers!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes, I think Severus is a bit more complicated than we give him credit for sometimes. And that's a good thing, too!

Yay for an update! I'm glad Draco has turned to Severus, since Severus can give a warning to Hermione.
Can't wait for the next one!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes, it's always good to be "on the inside" ... I hope Severus can ease the situation a bit.

Oh no - how could Draco especially since his father forced her to use the curse on him - Loved the latest
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
My thoughts are that those who are prone to evil deeds are a little (or a lot) insane and lack common sense at times. Draco is pretty much falling into that role.

Loved Harry in the 2nd Chapter - He was a hoot - this is great

Draco is up to no good but I cannot figure on what he is doing - interesting story

I loved how he transformed - the stranger must be Severus - the hands gave him away - I love it

Yes, hmm ... those hands.

Oh, I hope you haven't forgotten this story. I know it's hard to finish WIPs since Deathly Hallows came out last month.I love this story and can't wait for an update.

Nope. I haven't forgotten. Life's been exceptionally nutty lately. ;) I have the next chapter back from beta and am polishing up a few things.
Enjoying where your story is going. Of course I'm hoping business partners isn't where the relationship ends and I look forward to future updates. thanks!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you. Let's hope both Severus and Hermione can see a potential for a relationship beyond what they have now.
I am heartned by your author's note that there are more chapters of this written. I'll assume that means that no matter what happens with DH you'll continue? Thank you for this chapter, I am glad Mr. Prince and Hermione can be friends. Next time she wont let him off the hook so easily.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes. There definitely WILL be continued after DH comes out.
When HBP came out, I was a little nervous, and I struggled to finish the story I was working on then before it did. HBP certainly threw me for a loop, for sure. DH might do so as well, I cannot say for sure, of course. But people will bounce back. I still enjoy stories that are not HBP compliant, and I'm sure after a bit, everyone will come back to stories that are not DH compliant. In any case, I'm not worried. Those who are following this story most likely will continue to do so, if only to find out what happens next.
Oh! this is getting more complicated :) looking forward to the rest :)
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yup, complicated is certainly a good word to describe this. Makes it a little more difficult to write, but certainly worth the effort!
Response from Calicoskys (Reviewer)
Well the effort is well apreciated
