Years after Voldemort is destroyed, Hermione struggles to have the life she has always wanted. **Note: This story is on haitus. It isn't abandoned; I simply have no idea when it will be continued.

Thank you very much! Hope you keep on enjoying it!
I am glad you are (or were) continuing this story. I would very much like to read it to its end, whatever JKR delivers in her last installment. I am surprised that there was no information about updates, at least not the last two chapters, either on WIKTT or on hgss_digest livejournal. Glad to have found it.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I'm afraid I've discontinued my membership on WIKTT. Things just got a little to "wankish" over there for my tastes. I update on Potter_Place, though. Just a tip: create a bookmark for this story, on any chapter you like, and you'll be reminded by e-mail.
I'm glad they've come to such and amicable arrangement. I'm sure the questions are never going to end--I know they wouldn't if I were the one doing the inquiring. Thanks for the new chapter!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes, there's just so much to be said and to be known... maybe they'll all be answered eventually.
This is a really good chapter! I liked the converstaion between them very much. :)
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thank you. I'm just glad that they finally got to this point!
The "first" meeting went very well. I wish she wasn't pregnant with Harry's child. It just seems sad that a Potter has been there first, if you know what I mean.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes, I do know what you mean. Things are never as easy as they should be, I guess.
ACK!!! So she still doesn't know it's Draco and Cissa who want to kill her! I just hope they don't come to her shop before Severus has a chance to tell her. And will Severus ever admit to her that he is the blabbermouth who told the Malfoys that it was Hermione's wand that zapped Lucius... Thanks for the new chapter, and I'll be waiting eagerly for the next!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Hermione will figure things out. As to Severus admitting certain things to her, I'm not certain. ;) I'm glad you are liking it!
Wonderful! I am so glad that Severus finally appeared as Severus. And the chapter was so delightfully long! I really enjoyed your Severus--and can't wait to see more of his interactions with Hermione.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I think I could have made it longer, but then it would have been too wordy. I was actually afraid it was too wordy as it is. ;) Thanks for your review!
Pregnancy has rattled her brain, I take it? I don't know how Harry is every going to take the news it is his baby.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
There will be other circumstances involved when he does find out. And I have no idea if you know how pregnancy affects the brain, but it does make one a little scatter-brained. ;)
Response from blue artemis (Reviewer)
I haven't experienced it personally but my sister has 4 kids, and my aunts collectively have 6 more, so I've seen it first hand.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
*lol* It's a lot of fun to experience. Sort of like an excuse to be a little airheaded.
It takes the tension out of the scene to abruptly switch viewpoint characters, as you did within the first few paragraphs, and later in the middle of a paragraph. I would suggest that it is necessary to change scenes before changing the viewpoint character in the limited third person narrative. Nevertheless, the plotting continues to be interesting and well-paced. The dialogue was smooth and did not feel stilted. All told, this latest chapter was well-recieved.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I am going to have a look at those areas you mentioned and take a critical look at the entire chapter with that in mind. Thank you.
I'm happy that the dialogue went smoothly. I think I was paying too much attention to that and lost a little with the viewpoint switching.
Oi, Hermione! What a question to forget! Very nice meeting. I like how you're making the transition as she gets to know Severus the man as opposed to Snape the professor.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thanks. I'm glad I'm doing that; it's been a little difficult to make this transition smoothly.
ahhh finally, they meet!I am not sure how you are going to resolve the baby issue. That will be interesting.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I am working on that right now. I've got the next few chapters written and with the betas.
I am so glad "the stranger" showed up in time. Looking forward to what happens when Hermione finds out who he is...
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Answers are forthcoming in the next couple chapters. Hope you enjoy!
Crimeney! Don't stop here! I do hope you're working single mindedly on the next chapter.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Ah. I so wish I could single-mindedly work on this story.
of course you would stop it THERE!!! ACK!Thank you for a nice distration on an incredibly pisser of a day.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Oh, dear. Sorry about your day. Hope today was better.
Oh, and your'e right. Of course I would stop it there. Readers should really expect nothing less of me.
Well, I was wondering how Snape was going to bail Hermione out, but now I have a further question: how can Snape, as an outcast, afford to pay for half of a business that is failing? Will he be moving his lab into the attic/back room/basement, or will he be making major inventory changes? (I'm a bit skeptical that advertising changes alone will do the trick.) In addition, now that he will be around - in one capacity or another - how will he help her out with her pregnancy? When others first notice Hermione is pregnant and he is around, will they assume he is the father? I have a feeling Snape is in for a lot of undue battering from Hermione's friends! (As you can see, I am enjoying your story.) Best wishes as you continue writing!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
I'm glad you're enjoying the story.
I believe the answer to the first half of your review shall reveal itself a bit in the next chapter. For the rest, you'll just have to hang around!
Very nice. I'm enjoying this story a lot. I like how you've characterized Hermione, and look forward to more Snape.Portkeys are supposed to be regulated by the MoM, aren't they?
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Oh, you know. And I wasn't supposed to make a left-hand turn out of the Y parking lot yesterday....
Response from Javoher (Reviewer)
LOL! Hey, if you're not caught it's legal.
Wow! I like this story so muchSo I hope you will update soon becouse now we finally know that the stranger IS Severus and he is guarding her!And how he will react to her pregnancy? -mini Potter ( or Harrietta) it`s so funny!keep writing much love paula
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thanks, Paula. It's encouragement like this that keeps me writing.
Now things are getting really interesting. I hope you will update again soon, I look forward to read about Hermione and Serverus first meeting in years.!!!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
The meeting will be interesting, that's for sure!
Come on! I can't believe that you left it there!!! Okay, I actually can, but it doesn't make me any happier about it. I really hope that you update soon, otherwise I will be forced to threaten you with cursed hats winging their way to you in the mail. Great chapter, despite the evil cliffie!
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
You know. I kind of think it'd be interesting to see cursed hats winging their way through my window. Better than cursed birds. Hats don't leave little "presents".
At last! I am confused that Snape's name has not been cleared. It has been five years. What could Albus's ghost possibly be waiting for?
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Ah, yes. Answers will be forthcoming, don't you worry!
A-ha! The Stranger is Snape! One mystery solved, at any rate. That's so sad about Albus' ghost. I wonder if Ron really injured him at all, maybe he's responsible for the limp? Hmmm. I'm glad your betas nudged you to write more on this, as it is a very enjoyable story.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Yes, my betas are lovely. Mysteries are being solved one after another. Hermione always loved a mystery....
Story is getting juciy g/f excellent job as usual.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thanks,
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
. I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Yay!!!! They meet face to face!! Now I hope he tells her that it's Draco who tried to kill her. Somehow, I doubt you'll make it too easy for them to figure out why, or what happened on the battlefield with Lucius and Hermione. Thanks for the new chapter! And thanks to your betas for the nudge.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Oh, you know me too well, June.
About time Hermione figures it out. I'm glad she knows it is him, though. I'm not sure how he will handle mini-Harry, though.
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Mini-Harry. But what if it's a girl? Harietta?
Oh yeah, the truth comes out at last. Great chapter.Truly
Response from notsosaintly (Author of Strega Letteraria)
Thanks, Truly. And, yes, the truth is going to start to come out now, though not all at once.
