Interesting premise. I like the story so far!One small mistake in the chapter though... Dumbledore did not 'stun' Harry on the tower- If he did that, Harry would have been unconcious. He used Petrificus totalus, which 'freezes' you but apparently you can still hear and see fine.

Thanks. I always think 'stun' when I think about the Tower scene and I didn't have my books available when I wrote this. ^_^

Hopefully, it won't be too long. Chapter 11 is with my Britpicker now and I sent Chapter 12 to my beta this morning. ^_^

Oh, I would definitely agree. Doesn't mean I'd write it like that, especially as the story is already completed, but I would most *definitely* agree. ^_^

Of course I did! *evil laugh* Why should I be the only one to suffer through chocolate cravings that I can't satisfy because it's not on my diet. Chocolate yogurt is a poor substitute. *pout*Glad you're enjoying my story. I am trying to add humour as well as the developing friendship between former enemies. Just wait until Chapter 9. *hint-hint* ^_^
Mmm, now I wish I had a decent pastry (or bakery) shop nearby, I love pain au chocolat. Again a lovely chapter. I had to giggle a bit at Severus and Minerva's letters. And also at Draco's protectiveness of Severus (it's sweet really.) Still looking forward to seeing where things go from here, especially how all 3 of them are going to take being back at Hogwarts soon. Hmm. :-)

I know all about diets and motivation. There's a Panera Bread Company attached to my local library and the smell is to die for. They have pain au chocolate and orange scones and dark chocolate brownies. Oh, *drool* where's my yogurt and bananas and oranges. *grin* Chapter 9 will be going into the queue probably sometime today. ^_^

A surprise twist, Hermione will not be apprenticing after all. Another excellent chapter, the interaction between the various characters, the personalities. it is all very nicely written. I am looking forward to seeing where the story heads from here.

Cute story so far. I am, of course, annoyed at the Wizengamot, but it is a fun plot idea. I'm enjoying your Severus quite a bit, he's relaxed, but hasn't lost his snarky personality. And the interactions between Hermione and Draco are fun, they seem like they might become good friends. I'm looking forward to seeing how the school year and the following years turn out.

Thanks for the review. I'm rather glad Lucius decided to take matters into his own hands when I started this fic. It seems to have turned out better than my original outline of just Severus, Hermione and Draco. ^_^
I love this story...but since I am a true SS/HG addict, I wonder about one of your earlier reply to a reviewer: It was intended to be SS/HG before Lucius got a hold of it...I don't really like Dramione, is the story going to crush my little heart?...Keep going!!!

It will be Dramione as far as they will remain friends, but eventually it will be Grape. When I first started my outline, Snape was awake, but paralysed. The scene was Spinner's End and Dramione were working together to get him moving again. Lucius came along, hijacked the scene to Malfoy Manor and took Severus' dialogue, so instead of a simple one or two chapters at the most, I got 38. At least the story got finished.

LoL! It'll be a few chapters yet. She and Draco have to get through the rest of 7th year and three years of University, but it'll go quick. I promise. ^_~
Oh, I'm sure there are more loopholes in that pardon that can be exploited! Get a roomful of Slytherins working on that thing, and Severus may find himself in a far better position than the Wizengamot had intended for him to be! It's actually very fortunate that they believe Severus is dead, because they would have otherwise made their wording a little more ironclad...And Minerva won't make him take Hogsmeade duty! Looking forward to seeing how his apprenticeship arrangements with Draco and Hermione can be benefit him--after all, nothing says they can't make potions for the school infirmary or sell them. And surely anything they successfully sold, a percentage of their profit would go to their Master as part of the apprenticeship contract? All kinds of things could happen!Another toast: "To circumventing the Wizengamot!"

Who, Severus? Wouldn't you if you had the choice of five years of probation or Azkaban? Even if the five years is to be spent teaching dunderheads? *grin* At least he doesn't have to do Hogsmeade weekends. ^_^

Hey, things may be moving more swiftly than Severus expected! Although I'm sure he doesn't appreciate the Minister of Magic just popping in to see him with no time to prepare himself... On the other hand, that was probably the idea--no preparation, just Snape off the cuff and as genuine as you can expect a Slytherin to get.I fully expect that when Sev returns to Hogwarts, Netty the house-elf will follow him and continue to browbeat him into taking care of himself, per Narcissa's orders! 
Looking forward to the next chapter!

I'm in! This is sounding good, and fear not, I'm not all that huge a fan of evil Malfoys myself. I have no objections to them, but I enjoy reformed Malfoys just as much if not more! I look forward to your next chapter (which will hopefully be soon).

The story is complete and I hope to post weekly. However, I have two problems with my writing. I can't write truly evil characters and I don't do lemons too well. But fear not, there will be limes ahead. After all, it was originally intended to be a SS/HG story. At least before Lucius got a hold of it. ^_~
