Now they can start their own bookclub! (I think I remember a story about that once...)
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Yeah, I remember a couple of stories about bookclubs by a couple of different writers. Can't remember who wrote them or the titles of the stories right now, but they were excellent stories. SS/HG, of course. ^_^

I look forward to more!

I have the next chapter ready to add to the queue. It should be up as soon as it's moderated. ^_^

Didn't know that about Nora Roberts. But more importantly, the hidden retraction at least was printed. I like how this is moving along at a viable pace. Much more like real life than most reads.
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Thanks, sweetie. I didn't know that about Nora Roberts either until I started collecting her books about twelve years ago. It's astonishing how many of her books are actually reprints of earlier stories and yet are still being purchased. I think she only publishes two or three new books a year under each name, yet I'll see some nine or ten books on the shelves every year.I'm happy you like how I paced this story. it seems to me that a real friendship takes time and patience to develop. So many books nowadays have the hero and she-ro (I love that word) falling into bed within days if not hours of meeting one another and professing true and undying love by the end of the book, which could be anywhere from a couple of days to as much as a week later. ^_^

:) I especially enjoyed the quiet reading time in Hermione's quarters.
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
The best part of my day is in the evening when I can sit and read without interruption. Seems to me they would be the same way. ^_^
Response from mimmom (Reviewer)
Snape may be long overdue for the simple pleasure of reading with someone else who enjoys the same thing. JKR didn't give Snape much of anything good. It's up to fanfiction writers. :)

ooh that Rita Skeeter. She's so horrible!
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
That's why she's called Skeeter, I'll bet. You want to squash her and stop her buzzing around you. ^_^

SQUEE!! Of course he's handsome when he smiles. It's so nice of her to notice.I really, really enjoyed their non-academic quality time and conversations with each other in this chapter. Thank you so much for an update!!
Response from jenidralph (Reviewer)
Oh, and I'm much like Severus49... I read fan fiction almost exclusively.
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Reading is good! Even fan-fiction! As I said to Severus49, if you want to broaden your horizons, email me off-list and I'll send you some suggestions. ^_^

I confess, I'm a heathen. I spend all my time reading fanfic as opposed to real books! I very seldom pick up an adult book anyway - mainly, I read some of my daughter's chaptered books to see why they enjoy them so much. I think the last paper-made book I read was Junie B. Jones Aloha-ha-ha...But, it's a nice premise to see Hermione and Severus have reading in common!
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
I enjoy reading children's books as well *cough* Harry Potter *cough*. In fact, I enjoy reading, period. I'll read almost anything except the so-called Christian literature. I am definitely a heathen. If you want some recommendations for so-called *adult* literature (not x-rated, silly), send me a private e-mail with some likes and dislikes. I've got over 10,000 books in my library according to my e-catalog, including books I've had since I was a kid. ^_^

I've never read any Norah Roberts as JD Robb or otherwise. Any good? :)
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Oh, yeah! Do you like contemporary, suspense, paranormal, or futuristic? She writes them all. Try them, you might like them. ^_^

LOL! This chapter had me laughing out loud. Thank you. I love many of the authors you listed, and did indeed catch the refernce to ladyofthemasque. I'd love to hear what Lucius thinks of the Terry Pratchett. Thank you for sharing this fun chapter. I look forward to the next one.
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed. I really had fun coming up with this chapter and another one very similar that will be coming up later. Think "power shopping" with Narcissa. *grin* Jean Johnson is probably one of my all-time favorite authors along with Nora Roberts and pretty much everyone I listed with the exception of whoever wrote "The Hunt for Red October" (can't remember his name right now). I threw that particular book in because I figured it might be something Lucius would probably read. ^_^

So, if you squish Rita in bug form or spray her with Raid is it still considered murder? I've always wondered......
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
I dunno. *grin* I like and read this author whose characters are shape-shifters. When they're killed while in animal form, they stay in animal form. It's not considered murder by humans, just by the other shape-shifters. ^_^

Love the reference to LOTM :)
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Thank you. I've started purchasing her books for my ereader so I can read them where ever I am. ^_^

Skeeter can sure find a story in nothing, can't she?
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
I think that's the mission of most tabloid reporters, don't you? ^_^

Love the tribute to LoTM. I just want to force Skeeter into her animagus form and squash her with my shoe. Does that make me evil?I adored the "girl talk" between Hermione and Poppy. It was fun.
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Nah! That just makes you normal. *grin* "Girl talk"? What 'girl talk"? They're discussing their favorite topic: BOOKS! ^_^

I hope they get enough incentive to nail Skeeter to the wall! And who doesn't love LOTM's stories?
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
I certainly can't think of anyone! ^_^

Very cute chapter. I like Minerva try to relax, poor thing. Severus makes me laugh in this chapter, he's obviously very distracted. Looking forward to the next chapter. Thank you for sharing.
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
You are so welcome! *grin* Minerva should have never asked them to go with her if she wanted to relax. ^_^

I'm re-reading this story because I enjoy it so much. I'd just like to say that I am so happy that Hermione has her extended family as seen in this chapter. :) I'm glad Severus has one, as well. He deserves one.
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Yes, he does! Thanks for reading and reviewing. ^_^

Severus was getting a little feisty there lol. Too bad he couldn't concentrate, I am curious to see what his Animagus form might be. Perhaps in the next chapter : )
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Unfortunately, I was never told what his form took. However, since I keep getting short glimpses of this universe (see some of my other one-shots), that may change. ^_^

He's getting cheekier and cheekier. ;) (Connect the dots... lol!)I wish I could go on holiday with the three of them. I have a soft spot for those three.Thank you for the update!
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
I think it's having a chance to relax away from the castle. We're coming down to the last few months of his probation and he's counting the minutes, doncha know. ^_^
Not much going on in this chapter, but I did enjoy the simple quaintness of the chapter. Severus and Hermione got the chance to spend time together, and they both adore Minerva.
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Well, it can't be non-stop action all the time. They'd really stress out. I really thought Minerva was adorable throughout the series. Third favorite character after Severus and Hermione. I loved the interaction in the books. ^_^
Yay! Poor Severus. I'm really looking forward to further chapters!!
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Chapter 25 is in the queue and chapter 26 is getting it's final edit and will probably be uploaded to the queue this coming weekend. I'm happy that you're enjoying this. ^_^
LOL! I love when Snape doesn't want Hermione to leave him alone to deal with getting kids on the train.
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Would you want to handle some 400 kids by yourself? I certainly wouldn't!!. ^_~
Hah! Fun. Skeeter...gggggrrrrr! She's horrible.
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Oh, I definitely agree, but I think she might have something on her editor in order to keep her job as long as she has. Thanks for reading and reviewing. ^_^
everybody needs a break, sometimes!
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
Of course they do! Severus more than most, I would think. ^_^
Nice holiday. Pity Sev couldn't concentrate. :)
Response from MsTree (Author of Heaven or Hell)
I think he's entitled to a game of connect-the-dots, don't you?. ^_^
