Happy Hermione! I'm very envious.  I have no idea what kind of restaurant they are at so I guess if I was actually Hermione on a date with Severus Snape I would have been embarrassed about what to order.  Is it lost on either of them that he has taken her into his confidence so quickly?  They are moving right along. I hope they continue smooth sailing, as it were.  Osiris is a great plot device. I can't wait to get to know him.  I bet he can help out if they have any misunderstandings. 

I hope Hermione has a wonderful time with Severus.  Draco would be fun to have as a friend.  Maybe he can give Severus some pointers on courting Hermione. Severus is probably easier to hurt without meaning to than Draco.  Severus has no sense of humor when it comes to himself.  I hope Hermione can navigate his tender heart safely. I'd be terrified I'd hurt his feelings without meaning to, but I guess we know more about Severus than Hermione at this point.  We also know that Hermione has no intention in playing little games.  Let's see how it goes in London. 

I just finished the most horrendous tragic romance called Beatrice by H. Ridder Haggard.  I've been reading my way through his Omnibus. I absolutely hate tragic romances! I was quite relieved to finish it and come back to this story. It took me ages to get through the book because it was too depressing. I hope things continue to go well for Hermione and Severus.  She would be so happy to know he was thinking about her future. 

I'm really enjoying the change of pace from the angst I expected from Severus at Albus hiring Hermione behind his back.  I'm guessing from the earlier hint and hoping that Severus had seen Hermione in the Mirror. I am anticipating that Hermione will find the mirror and see the same thing.  Then the only thing remaining will be for these two who would assume the other could ever possibly desire the them, to find their way to each other. Not all the stories have to be full of dreadful conflict before they get together.  I hope I'm not in for too much angst ahead. I feel like I'm coming down with something and would rather have something peaceful tonight. I know the story was written long ago, but you are one of my favorite authors and have been for a long time.
