My parents run a family owned dog shelter.  I've met many dogs needless to say.  However, two dogs clearly stick out in my mind.  One was Ichabod and the other was Snowghost.  Ichabod was old and got cancer, when it got bad we had him put down so he wouldn't suffer.  Snowghost kept looking for his friend and when it was obvious that Ichabod wasn't comming back Snow grieved himself to death.  Animal friendships do run deep.

I wonder if that is his animal nature comming out?  Animals are much more loving and selfless than humans.

Harry didn't do too well with occlumency under Severus, I'm surprised his mind was so well blocked off.

It's nice that she wants a relationship and not just a roll i the hay.  Even better that she told him this and he didn't run off.

Albus and Draco both lent a happy air to this chapter.  Really funny how Albus got them together and Draco being both protective of Severus and encouraging to Hermione.

I love quiche and have a great recipie for it as well.  Unfortunately, my husband is not a fan of quiche so I don't make it often.
