Right. I would like to state, for the record, that I WILL finish "She Married Her Choice". I will. Assuming I am in control of my own destiny and accomplishments, that is. ;-)
Unfortunately, real life (mainly an attention craving three-year-old) and inspiration have been keeping me from creative endeavors for a while now. I do foresee a time when that shall pass, but until then, I ask for your patience.
Thank you!
Reviews for She Married Her Choice
Thanks! I love a good SS HG fanfic... and this was amazing :D
"I was thinking about conjuring some crisps and a lawn chair." Hahahahaa. That is bloody hilarious!! I love the way you put the characters in this. Harry makes me laugh so much, and I love Hermione and Snape. Dobby rocks! There's not one bad thing I can say!! *squee* Can't wait to read on... xx
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Heehee! Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed that! I'm glad you're enjoying the story! It makes me a very happy author!
Cheers!
LOL, poor Draco just about got his head blown off!
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Yes, and he would have deserved it, too. :-D

Whoopsie! What's got Severus going? Did he mistake her referring to the dress as horrid as referring to their marriage? As always, I add my raucous voice to the clamor for another chapter!!
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Probably it was something like that, but do you think he would ever admit to that? More coming soon, dear
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
. Thank you!
Oh my goodness. What happened. We were doing so well. Poor Severus and Hermione. They are both suffereing. Awe....
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Oh, misunderstanding will abound with this couple. They don't speak a common language yet, after all. It'll get beeter, though. :-)
Thank you!
Hmm, was he upset because he thought she was saying that marriage is "horrid"? Things were going so nicely until then - massage and physical contact (yay!), and Teddy becoming more accepted by Harry and Ginny. Sigh. BTW, where's Draco? I know, I know... must wait for next chapter!!
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Probably. He's silly that way. Draco is back to avoiding the Mu-- Granger now that there's no reason to talk to her. He doesn't trust or like her.
Next chapter will be fairly soon!
Woo, things are not looking well for the couple right now. Update soon.
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
No, but they aren't as bad as they seem, either. :-) Thanks, and I will.
Again a very well written chapter!! But, what crept up in Severus ass and bit him? His behaviour is rather odd and he is definiatly treating Hermione unfair. I guess he probably thinks he have heard or seen anything that makes his behaviour acceptable, but I must say it is rather offputting that a grown man can't make out what is rigth or wrong without making an idiot of himself. If he has a problem he should talk to her, just as he would have demanded she did if the situation had been reversed. (Maybe that Vector-woman has planted a lie or ten in his head? If he is willingly beliving her, he deserves the headache and then some....) Update again soon!!!
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Thank you! Um, he's not going to tell anytime soon, though he will reveal it before the end of the story. Long before that, though, Hermione'll call him on his behavior, cause you're right in that it's unacceptable and off-putting.
Next update will be pretty soon, possibly even next weekend!
So what is his problem?!? (This bit of art is mimicking my life, right now, so it was really hard to read the last part and not bawl like a baby.) Good chapter, and I'm looking forward to more. I have to go back and read the last chapter, see if there's some clue there about his behavior. Right now I'd just like to smack him.
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Oh, I'm sorry it's mimicing life right now. :-( He's... his problem is personal, and he's not willing to share yet, but he will before the end of the story. :-)
Thank you! More will be on its way fairly soon (next weekend, maybe?) And as for smacking, he will get a whallop or two from Hermione in the next couple chapters. :-)
I'm so glad you're updating again! I read Marry a Choice and the completed part of this some time ago. I am really enjoying it!
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Yes, the muse has finally deigned to visit me again! I'm thrilled you're still reading despite the long times between updates, and very glad you're enjoying it! Thank you!
I like Teddy in this story so I'm glad he's getting along with Harry. The Great Hall scenes were very effective, I was just as curious as Hermione on Severus' whereabouts.
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Thank you! Teddy may very well be a Gary Stu, but I like him as well. He's supposed to be a likeable fellow!
Oh, she stepped on his toes, somehow - he got touchy when she mocked her wedding dress. He must have thought she was talking about something other than the frills. Poor man. He needs a good shag to set him straight - but Hermione's a bit indisposed for such things just now.
I was intrigued by the dream, how it began as Ron and she called Severus' name. Her feelings are evolving and she's confused and feels guilty about it. Poor thing!
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
That she did, but in her defense, he's more than a little overly-sensitive right now.
Hermione really isn't ready to shag Severus at the moment. Yes, she's very confused and guilty, but, like all things, that too shall pass. :-)
She probably doesn't realise that by disparaging the dress, he feels like she disparages the marriage. My, those two will need to speak together soon.
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Probably not. Fortunately, she's smart and will probably figure it out pretty soon. And yes, they will speak soon, although it might not be in reasonable tones.
Thank you!
Good transitional chapter, you seem to be setting up for more action.
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Yeah, you could say that. Although, in a way, pretty much everything will be a transistional chapter from here to the climax. :-(
Thanks!
NO this is all too sad... poor poor severus. this is a very mean story to him, (i still like it but you have to admit it is mean)
Anywho can not wait till Hermione gets over all that and falls in love and they live happily ever after and all that rot...lol
KarlaMarie
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Yes, it is a mean story to him, but it will get better, I promise! Hermione has seen the error of her ways and is already trying to reform, so hopefully the happy ending part will be fairly soon. Cheers!
This chapter looks familiar. Oh, I've read it before! Hahaha! (I'm such a great joke teller, eh?)Can't wait for the next one, dear. Good work, as always.
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
*snort* You big joker, you! Thank you, and next one should be on its way fairly soon, maybe even this weekend!
Can you tell I couldn't wait for the chapter to be up at SH? And all because you told me the next chapter was in the qeue... I'm too impatient.
They are interesting nightmares if you ask me. They tell a lot about Hermione's thoughts and feelings. I'm not sure I want to analyse them too close... but they are interesting anyway. And since I know that we use dreams as a mean to get our thoughts in order and to process what happens to us... of course it was a big step forward. Very big if it means Hermione is going to start dealing with it instead of blocking it.
Oops, forgot to tell you that I loved the chapter, creepy details and all.
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Well, SH is being kind of slow, what with the move and all. I wouldn't have the patience either. lol.
I tried to put what little I know about dream analysis when I wrote this chapter, so I'm glad you found them interesting. And you definitely hit the nail on the head.
Thank you Maddy! I think I forgot to say "thanks" in my last reply, but I thought it!
Gee Whiz! Poor Severus, Poor Hermione. I'm glad Poppy's there to help. I hope they let the Dementors use tongue when they kiss Malfoy. Rotten Bastard!!!!! Well done on this chapter, and, as usual, I can't wait for the next one! GG
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
They have more than just Poppy to telp them out. The dementors aren't in use at Azkaban, unfortunately, so Lucius won't get that punishment.
Thank you! Next one should be up retty soon, as I've almost finished writing it!
I feel terribly sorry for the both of them. I know what it feels like to have nightmares like those, as I am battling with them myself now. The assurance that something good will come of this is comforting. I look forward to the next chapter with high hopes. ~The Mistress
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
I sympathize with the dreams. Not conducive to resting well.
If it weren't for that damn epilogue of Marry a Choice, I could play this up as a "make or break" point of their relationship, and having her leave would seem a very bad sign indeed... but I can't, so all I can offer is a bit of hope. Cheers!
This little web of intrigue is developing at a fantastic rate of knots. The complicated & tentative relationship is teetering on a fine edged sword and it's bloody brilliant! I'm eager for more and so offer lemon sherbets, droobles best blowing gum and a dozen sugar quills to your muse as incentive!Blessings! xx
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Well, thank you! I'll be sure to pass those fine gifts along, once the muse comes back from the store. She's due any minute now.
Awesome chapter. I felt very sorry for Snape. Can't wait for more!!
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Yeah, Snape's to be pitied. Even Hermione realizes that, later. I'm working away on chapter 12, so hopefully it won't be too long! Thanks for the review!
More soon please.
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
I'm working away! Thanks!
I've been enjoying this story greatly. I did not realize that there was a first one. I've gone to read that and wanted to tell you here that it was nicely done. I wonder why Hermione just didn't tell him that she wanted to stay? There seems to be so much miscommunication here. Never fear. Believe it or not, this is a big step forward for both of them. I am happy to hear it and am looking forward to some lighter chapters and the actual development of their relationship. I know she's young, but I do hope she tends to think more like a wife soon.
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Thanks. Um, I'm glad you went and read the first one, because by the end of this one it could be confusing, otherwise.
Hermione didn't say anything because she was under the impression Snape's mad at her, and she just didn't have the wherewithall to deal with an angry Snape at that moment. There's TONNES of miscommunication (that's a fun word to type! miscommunication... heeheehee)
The chapters will start lightening up soon. Can't promise immediately, but soon. The events of this chapter, though, will definitely help shift Hermione's perpective.
Thanks for the review!
it's good so far. i like it. hope to catch the next and see it completed.kepp up the good work.
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Thank you! I'll try my hardest!
I am so happy that Severus and Hermione have embarked on courtship. I think it is a lovely way to get to know each other, and to do their courting away from the castle can only be a good thing!!!You are a very talented writer, and I hope that one day you will be able to grace us with the next chapters you had planned before going on hiatus. I have noticed that the last reveiw before this one was posted in Sept., 2006. Should I assume that you have abandoned the rest of the work on this story? I do understand about muses taking flight, so I am not castigating you, I just wanted to know if I should keep my hopes up, or just say thank you for a beautifully told story and not look for more.Thank you!!!Beth
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
I'm sorry for being so slow getting back to you, but I do appreciate your reading the story and reviewing it. I feel even worse because you asked a very pertinant question. No, I have not abandoned this story. I very recently finished it, actually! It has two more chapters to go before it is finished for good.Thank you for the lovely words of encouragement. I hope you enjoy the rest of the story!
