Right. I would like to state, for the record, that I WILL finish "She Married Her Choice". I will. Assuming I am in control of my own destiny and accomplishments, that is. ;-)
Unfortunately, real life (mainly an attention craving three-year-old) and inspiration have been keeping me from creative endeavors for a while now. I do foresee a time when that shall pass, but until then, I ask for your patience.
Thank you!

Severus is certainly going through a bad time lately. He needs to catch a break, and Hermione needs to sort out her reality from her fears. Maybe things will get better for them in the future.Still love this story!Beth

That's putting it mildly. Things will improve for them, though. Eventually. ;-)Thanks!

Theo will make a good study partner (if that is all he has in mind, that is). I wonder how Hermione will recall her conversation with Theo about his reading of her palm. Surely events to come will have her recalling the things he told her.Dumbledore's revelation about Minerva being his daughter was not something I expected, but it fits nicely with the story line. Will Hermione decide to work with Dumbledore to learn how to control her new found power?I want Severus. NOW! So I'm off to the next chapter to find him.Good writing, Avery!Beth

I love this chapter and Snape under the influence of a Calming Draught. Very sweet. I'm glad that they were able to have a few good moments -- kiss, kiss -- *sigh*But Hermione has to learn to admit when she has made an error in judgement, and S.P.E.W. was definitely an error in judgement since the House Elves never wanted to be liberated. If she would just say something like "Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time, but I was wrong." then that particular monkey would be off her back. However, Severus' laughing wiht Lucius about her efforts with S.P.E.W. did not help.On to the next chapter!Beth

I think this is one of my favorite chapters, or at least Severus under the influence is one of my favorite scenes. I'm so glad you liked it, too!Thank you!

I am so glad that Hermione is taking care of Severus and making him take care of himself. What will happen to Lucius when Snape is all better?Good story. On to the next chapter! Beth
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Well, he's her husband! She HAS to take care of him! ;-)Thanks!

Lots going on in this chapter. But I'm glad that Severus is back in the picture -- I missed him. Now I understand Madam Pomfrey's reaction to Hermione. And Snape's reaction to the calamine lotion. Makes better sense to me now.Hermione has a tendency to take things people say in a negative way. I hope she can discipline her thinking a little more to wait to come to a conclusion until she has more information. Jumping to conclusions can make for a lot of unnecessary heart ache for all concerned. I'm wondering where Lucius is now. Is he still caught in that mysterious room? What will Snape do when he finds him? Questions, questions, nothing but questions...And the week from hell is over. Whew! This wore me out. Great story!!!Beth
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
LOL. Yep, the week is over. Her life can progress now that the crisis has been dealt with... maybe. Eventually. ;-)Thanks!

Wow! Hermione has some powerful wordless, wandless magic going for her now. What's happening with Severus? Is he okay? And what happened to Lucius?I'm lovin' it!Beth
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Yes she does! She is a force to be reckoned with, and now almost everybody knows it!

Poor Hermione! Things just seem to go from worse to worser. Where are Harry and Where is the Professor? I love this story.Beth

Yes. Poor Hermione, indeed! They're out there, somewhere...Thank you!

OMG! What a mess she has gotten herself into now! You've written an evil, deceitful Lucius Malfoy who is bent on raping and killing our heroine. And Severus doesn't know she is in trouble. And now she has fallen over a cliff. I admit I'm a little confused about how she came to be out of that room and in the new corridor, but I'm on my way to the next chapter to find out what's happening next.An ablsolutely riveting tale!Beth

I am totally flabbergasted! How could everything go to hell in a hand basket so quickly? Things would have been better if she could have said nothing at all when she was around the students in the Great Hall for meals. But I'm not sure if I could have remained voiceless with all of the comments being made by the boys -- even boys from Gryffindor House. I am still puzzled as to why Madam Pomfrey and Professor Vector seem to have developed such enmity for Hermione after she married Snape.
Hope they'll be able to salvage something of this mess when all is said and done. To me it is obvious that Severus loves her very much -- that should have been clear from the way he made love to her on their wedding night. And I agree with Southern, she should take his last name. And she should get over herself and start thinking about her feelings for Severus instead of only obsessing over his feelings for her. Not that his feelings about her are unimportant, but she is not in this marriage by herself.
*Sigh* Dum Spiro Spero (While I breathe I hope) This is some seriously good writing!Beth

Easily! This is fanfiction, after all! LOL. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts!

Good Gawd! What else could go wrong on their wedding night?!?! Except that, of course, the love making before things began to go pear shaped was utterly fantastic!I feel sorry for Hermine having to put up with the snide remarks from her fellow students. What's that about? And what was Madam Pomfrey on about? Was that disappointment tinged with jealousy we witnessed?Good chapter!!!Beth

Oh, I'm sure I could have made more go wrong, but the chapter was getting awfully long as it was. ;-)Thank you!

Lovely! This romantic Severus is the best. Good, good lemons.I enjoyed the "back 'n forth" between Hermione and Severus as they worked their way toward consumating their marriage. Snape in nothing but a pair of black slippers is priceless! For everything else there's MasterCard. ;^)Their love making was just beautiful. Very well written. My heart goes out to Severus for having chicken pox as an adult. Can be seriously uncomfortable. Poor sod. Hope Hermione can help take his mind off of it.And what was Draco up to?Well done!BethPS- I loved Married A Choice, too.

I dislike the Nott part some, but that's only because it makes me worry that he'll "like" her or that Snape will be jealous, starting another war for them. I wonder where this Force stuff is going. Yoda, I mean, Dumby made some interesting convo.By the way, this is the slowest week I've ever seen. LOL
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Just because Nott may "like" her doesn't necessarily mean she'll like him back. And as for Snape being jealous... hmm, how long would Hermione really stand for that?
The force stuff... it's going somewhere, I promise!
And, yeah, no kidding! LMAO! I have started despairing of finishing this without another 100,000 words thanks to my insufferable need to include every freaking detail! Hopefully I'll learn how to skim through the days.
Thanks, Sun!
YIPPEEE!!!! A new chappie from averygoodun.I have really become enraptured by this fic and its predecessor. Your plot line has flowed magnificently from one to the other without having the characters become stilted or their interaction too advanced. The chemistry between all the characters is excellent and I especially enjoy the Theo/Hermione interactions. It seems our Mione has found a peer who is her intellectual equal. I now am eagerly awaiting the next gripping installment of....Dum, Dum, Daahhhhhh! Married Her Choice.. coming to a computer screen near you!!Blessings and chocolate for your muse ; ) x

! Yes, Teddy is darn close to Hermione's intellectual equal, almost on par with Severus!
Blessing and chocolate much appreciated!
Yes, I'm with Southern. Severus! Severus! Severus!A very good chapter though! I just hope Nott doesn't get any ideas... Hermione is just figuring out how she feels about Severus, she doesn't need to worry about Nott, too. Look forward to the next one. ~The Mistress

Severus will be back with a vengeance next chapter.
Nott is a nice guy. He won't get any ideas, I'm sure.

Thank you for the review, and I hope the next chapter doesn't disappoint.
Ah, so nice that she has finally been confronted with her anger. And apparently she was able to chat with Nott without thinking "what if I'd married him" - good! Theo's reading of her palm gave her more food for thought, and she was able to talk with a Slytherin in a civil manner. I just hope Severus is able to react calmly to his wife's choice of study partner. Okay, bring on the Snarkmeister! And thanks for the new chapter.
Response from averygoodun (Author of She Married Her Choice)
Not all Slytherins are slimeballs, as Teddy will prove in due time.
You are welcome, and Severus is coming up, though the snark may take a while to warm up to full potency. Thanks for the review!
I loved this story and I'm so happy that you finished it. I've completely and thoroughly enjoyed following along on this journey with you. You are a talented artist and author, my friend, and I absolutely adore you. I look back at the beginning of Marry a Choice and then look at where the journey has led us and I'm in awe at not only the talent, but the growth.
And can I just say that although I'm thrilled to pieces that this story is finally complete, I'm sad that I won't have another chapter to look foward to on my birthday later this summer. Speaking of, I hope that you have a fantastic birthday, my dear. And please, I hope that this doesn't mean the end of your stay in fandom. (Not like I can talk... but... yanno.);)
*Hugs you tightly*
I very ,very nearly shed a tear, but to my defense I'm very emotional right now due to personnal matters and circumstances. I didn't expect the epilogue so it's a wonderful surprise, and you couldn't have make me happier today. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for such wonderful stories (MAC and SMHC).
This has been an amazing story to read, including the one it was based on.
I laughed, I cried, my heart pounded, I got angry, and all emotions inbetween. It was addictive. I'm sorry that it had to end, but it is better for me, because now I can get back to work on the things I need to do (including my own story).
You kept the characters believable and in character. Another great aspect of the story. Because if Snape isn't a bastard and Hermione isn't a know-it-all, then why bother to write a story about them? It's not really them, is it?
Thanks so much for sharing.

Awww, and congratulations to YOU on the safe delivery of your final chapter! Writing is much like childbirth at tmes! Of course you'll want to glory in the result before you begin your NEXT ONE! What? You look pale, my dear!
*grin* oh, yes - I agree with the bum part!!!
Thank you so very much for a wonderful story that has accompanied us for these many weeks now.
awww, very sweet.
Yay! So glad they're closer to being on the same PAGE with a good solution to the issue of getting to know each other. They sure do get themselves into some messes. It's why I'm loving this story, though. It keeps me wondering all the time.
whew! that was a definate rollercoaster at the end! great stuff and i look forward to the epilogue. thanks so much
