What a great ending... as usual, there were problems along the way, but that's life isn't it?  Also glad that both Teddy and Vector got their feelings off their chests; that alone should help them both in the future, rather than keeping it all bottled up inside.

I'm sorry that this is the end, but if you should ever decide to write a follow-up story regarding the mysteries of the Force and how Hermione deals with it, I'd love to read it!  Thanks for sharing this one with us!

I am really loving this story. I just found the one before it and read it in one sitting. I found that one so intriguing that I simply had to continue on. I am addicted to this one as well, and when you invoked the Star Wars original Trilogy... (I know "resistence is futile" is from Star Trek TNG, but it seems to fit nicely right here) LOL!!!

This is great stuff. I can hardly tear myself away from the computer.

It was great. This chapter made me cry, though. I felt so bad about what Hermione was going through.

Wow!  I'm glad I reread the last two chapters of MAC before I read this one, otherwise I would have not understood that when all was said and done, Severus and Hermione did have a happy married life together.I was shocked at the way he lost his temper and started blasting holes in the walls, and I don't completely understand the "whys and wherefores" of his decision to tell Hermione that he wanted a separation and for her to take up with Teddy.  Good for Hermione for standing up for what she wanted!  And getting it!Great Lord!  That man is exasperating sometimes.  Still it's good to know they not only had a very satisfying life together, but they raised a very talented daughter, as well.Oh, yeah.  I had thought that Vector had been in love with Severus, not Hermione.  You crafty, tricksie author, you certainly caught me off guard with that one!SMHC is a well written story, and I thoroughly love reading it!   You very deftly tied up a lot of loose ends in this final chapter!  Good for you.  Beth

Lovely ending, I was surprised at the happy ending since most of the chapter was full of tension and arguments, but you pulled it all together quite nicely.  Will there be an epilogue?

I'm so glad all is well in the end. Of course I didn't really doubt they couldn't work through their differences. But I really wish I could slap Sev on the head when he decided he would do the noble thing and back away. Only I suspect that Albus did have his hand in it. He sure has a talent for ingraining doubt and guilt in everyone, especially Sev. Anyway, I enjoy rereading MAC as it was a long time for me too.

Wonder if the Wizarding world has heard of Anger management courses?  That would sort them out! :)

I cannot  believe this is the end.   I can't believe it.  really.  it was great.  but I want more!  (I always want more).  so...if by some weird happenstance you want to write more about this situation...I will be a devoted reader.   :)

wow!!  that's quite a chapter.  your revelations -- I never expected Vector to have a crush on Herms, but I'm glad Hermione confronted her on it.  Teddy -- he should have offered for her in the first place, at least taken her written exam!  but Teddy backed down, so it was his fault that he lost out.  in the epilogue, will you tell us what happened to Remus and Teddy and Kingsley?  I've become rather fond of your Teddy along the way; he always behaved honorably with her as a married woman.  I think Severus didn't realize Teddy was sincere during the interview/exam stage.  THANK YOU for this chapter!  it was complicated and had all sorts of loose story threads to tie up, but you did it -- yay!!

I do like the way you ended that.  He really needs to leave the noble gestures to the Gryffindors.

I loved this chapter. I think for the first time Hermione feels herself aligned with Severus, and with harry and Ginny otherwise occupied, she has someone for herself. The development of her feelings for him felt very real.

Now we just need to stab Vector with a Quick Quotes Quill and find out that Teddy is gay, and we're all sorted!

Vector is just beginning isn't she?  I'm looking forward to seeing her motivations and what will happen with Hermione in her class.

I'm so pleased with how they resolved the Harry-Ginny misunderstanding (and related "baby" issue) without making this a knock-down, drawn-out misunderstanding.  You've still left us hanging about why Vector is being such a pig to Herms!  Is it jealousy that Herms is married yet still may have a career?  Sigh.... Next chapter, please!  And thank you for this chapter.

I love how Hermione and Severus have become so close and comfortable with each other.  I cracked up when she decided that Severus would have to gather his ingredients in the Forbidden Forest on his own next time.  LOL!

I was so worried that Ginny would not be able to come to terms with being pregnant.  It is fairly soon in their marriage, but with Harry's support she can finish school and they can have a wonderful family.  Maybe Grandma Molly would be glad to help with child care. 

Now I'm wondering just what Dumbledore wants to talk to Severus about.  He's not in trouble... so it must be something good.  Please let it be something good.

Again that's perfect story to soothe my troubled mind this evening. I got an awful emotional day and I need to reassure myself thet people loves each other and that perfect couple exists. Plus I'm so glad for such a quick update, so THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH.

Oh, Avery!  GAH!  You just killed me with WOMANCE.  And I lurved it!  Teddy's reactions to her still have me waffling as to his feelings/motives/plans.  I've been nostalgic about you, ever since seeing the pictures of you with Professor Snape Droxy, at Leaky.  I remember how our MLCs were featured the same month at Ashwinder, and how much I loved Marry a Choice.  I'm so glad you're still writing on this one.  And so, SO glad that they're over being porcupines!

...and I have at last come to the end of the already-written chapters.  sad.  I can only say that I really like your story a lot, and i cannot wait for the next installment.  and I really, really want to know what is up with teddy.  I do have some ideas tho I would like them confirmed....
