I'm beginning to wonder if he will be able to live his life again. I do not consider him a freak but his emotional state is clearly unstable. And I agree with Severus: we're lucky no evil evil wizard is lurking in the shadows to rise to power.

I was a bit alarmed about reading a fic with Severus married to an OFC, but it is fascinating.

Well, the description of the final battle really didn't work for me. I don't think it's necessary to the story at all. All I wanted to know was that it's an AU story, what year it takes place, and that Big Bad Voldie is dead.You handled the information about Ginny Weasley's realtionship with Lee Jordan with more finesse, I think, by letting the readers get the information by way of Hermione and Ron's argument. Oh, and I love the arguing Ron and Hermione in this story...Anyway, I think I'd be more interested in what happened to Voldemort after getting to know the characters and situation of your story a little better. As it is, it just kind of takes me out of the story.Excellent start. Thanks so much for writing and sharing. Have you written much else in English before? You sound like a pro and I just love what you have posted so far!

now finally he can have some rest. he is where he belongs. with friends, and people who care for him. you let him be a child again. no hero attitudes. no nothing.just a hurt child.so nice how you describe him.And his friends still do not know to much.but Hermione will find out, but no, it is in no books. so maybe she has to wait for your update just as anybody else.

Nice chapter, but a bit short.  I would have liked to have seen Harry tell his friends everything, but perhaps it is better for him to deal with it in small doses.

I've notived that you usually update A better childhood in the same time than this one. Can I hope for a good readig this afternoon or tomorrow?
