If you don't mind me asking, what strikes you as cutting edge?  I'm fascinated and don't want to misinterpret. 

This story was disscussed on the Witt message board. I was already reading it at the time though.  The style is a difficult one, almost a he said - she said.  What is so cutting edge is you are actually carrying it off very, very well.  Also, you are using a ladder as a literary visual describing the building or a relationship.  This is unique as well.  These are just a couple of things that jumped out at me as the story progresses I'm sure I will find other points and I'll tell you too! lol I can't help it I'm a loud mouthed Italian.

I think she wants to do what is expected of her, that 'fitting in' thing. She wants to please those she holds in high regard. But, the Ron thing ... I just can't see it.
